Come'on who doesn't love a compliment. It makes your day, all day. That is what I want MJC to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want MJC to showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her to be happy! And that is it.

HomeGrown was my first season… and I sure loved everything… still have the celery items for myself and the girls. I simply love green and am thrilled to see more of it with this line!

I just can’t explain how much I am loving Hammond Bay!!! My favorite knot dress has ALWAYS been the Ginger, with Dandy coming in a close second, and Little Apple knot a very close third… but I admit I am very much loving Pepper!!!! The removable apron with those darling buttons is genius!! I just can’t wait – I am so excited!!!!!! Dying to see more of the Women’s stuff too!!!! Yippeee!!

Denise, I always love MJC, but I’m with you. I haven’t loved a line quite this much since Homegrown. The blue and green are so fresh and right up our alley. I sort of wish this little baby in my belly was another girl. You have some cute baby boy Mighty Acorns up your sleeve for us too, right? I can’t have my new one feeling left out of the MJC goodness, LOL. 
Oh my goodness…I’ve been saving my pennies for this, but I’ll have to try harder. Too much great stuff! And a sale, as well. What’s a girl to do!
I love all the new stuff! The ruffle shorts are TDF!!!! Also, the dress on the girl next to the ruffle bike shorts girl is gorgeous! The Ginger Knot is one of my fave dresses you ever made too and my first MJ purchase. I still have it because I cannot bare to part with it!!!

I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
