Come'on who doesn't love a compliment. It makes your day, all day. That is what I want MJC to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want MJC to showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her to be happy! And that is it.

First thing I said this morning was “Whew, it’s February.” Okay, so it is pre Ferbruary. Pretty much the same thing, right? We have totally neglected Platinum and Sam has been working like crazy making new pieces. I need to get on that, this weekend.
It is all sooo beautiful it is so hard to choose ! I love the baby bubble! I just got my first grandchild in Novemeber and she would look adorable in it!!!
Oh, the heart ruffles are VERY cute, we got them so quickly, just ordered them Tuesday. For those of you who have the pink dottie, it will match perfectly! I’m still hoping to see a few child’s joey bags pop up. Thanks Denise.

Denise- I am so sorry for your losses. As you said, it is wonderful when children can be so close to their grandparents. My girls love to go spend the night with my parents EVERY weekend because they live about 7 minutes from us. It is wonderful! I am so thankful they have that!!!
Hey Tracy- Yes, just go to the regular site and click on Platinum at the bottom of the page. We are not getting a new site, just making some changes, it will remain matildajaneclothing.com. I have added some Platinum today, and will do a bit more Wednesday. The site (MJC and Platinum will be closed Mon- Tues) for updates). And everything will remain as usual on Wednesday.
Confused. Do we go back to the old site to see Platinum and order or will it somehow link on your new page soon? I still have the old one on my favorites link, but wondering how this all works also for when you launch HB…
How do you see what’s on sale? Where are you looking to find what you can purchase?
I am a little confused on different reasons being given for cancelling the sale. There was never even an announcement it was being cancelled just word of mouth and rumors. Is there a reason it can’t just happen at a later date? I mean you still need to make room for new stock right?

Ya, I am sorry about the sale. We tried everything we could to make it happen, it just took a while to move to our very own server, install and then have another double check everything for security. We have not left a single stone unturned therefore it has taken quite sometime.
Would love those heart ruffles, but only if they would arrive by Valentines Day. I am the weird one that won’t wear hearts after Valentine’s day, before yes, after no. Some hearts ok, but full hearts can’t do. 
You are going to make it tough to hold out for HB, I can tell. I adore that purple knot!

I too was disapointed about the Sale falling through. I mean, I saw the sale prices ( in red ) and made my list.
Obviously, life happens and things are out of our control but it would be nice to see those sale prices up again instead of dangled in our face and taken away. I had told a bunch of possible/new customers about the sale and I’m concerned it turned them off. Just sayin’…

So cute, but I have a couple of questions: Love the heart ruffles, but what are the chances these could be delivered in time for Valentines Day? Also, I thought the reason the Whale of a Sale was canceled was because it would essentially interfere with the release of Hammond Bay? I guess I am kind of confused and a bit annoyed, to be honest. I made a pretty lengthy list for the Whale of a Sale and then was so disappointed when the sale was canceled. 
( I’m excited to see what is in store in Platinum, but feeling like I am riding a Shopping Rollercoaster.

Tina, I live in MS also and we did have a Trunk keeper…last I heard she was taking a little break last fall due to a new baby. She still keeps me informed of the new lines coming out and I order from her. Her name is Erin Vowell and she is super sweet. I think being a trunk keeper would be AWESOME…so much fun.
Looking forward to the upcoming line and maybe a whale of a sale sometime in the future???
I love these clothes. I have looked on this website everyday waiting for the new line to come out. I live in MS and we don’t have any trunk keepers here. I am interested in becoming one. I have 3 girls and love to dress them in Matilda Jane!!

Oh,yeah Feb. A whole new month,Jan. is behind us, no going back! Maybe we might wish to go back down the road but, thats why we have memories.

I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
