Come'on who doesn't love a compliment. It makes your day, all day. That is what I want MJC to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want MJC to showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her to be happy! And that is it.

And to you Denise…WOW! I got home from my son’s appt. at Riley yesterday, and lo and behold, the UPS man stopped in front of my house just as I got out of the van. I was SUPER excited to see that it was a MJ package! Thank you for the super fast shipping of our new VALENTINE ruffles and knot dress! Whitley Kate gets super excited as well when she sees that it’s a MJ package coming her way!

How sweet!!!!! Everyone needs a special little girl to love. My nieces were my “girls” because I only had a son. I always told them they were my special girls. Now I have my very own daughter so I have three girls! I never thought I would ever have a daughter. My son and daughter are 14 years apart. I know YOUR Sara Brown will always be special in your heart. I wonder though if one day you will have a daughter too? Also, I never thought I would ever love any child as much as I loved my son – BOY WAS I WRONG! Children are the sweetest things in the world. I love watching them grow!

I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
