I want her to love what she is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want MJC to showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her to be happy! And that is it.

I think that it’s so sad that many of the MJC fans are being so hard on Denise for not having the Hammond Bay on the website yet. I love MJC as well, and can’t wait to make my wish list. However, we need to put things in perspective. Yes, some of you are lucky enough to be having a trunk show (my trunk keeper is unavailable due to having twins. Congrats Nicole!). Yes, it would be nice for your attendees and invites to see the line beforehand. But really, think about all Denise has been through these past months. She has created a business that allows us to dress our darlings in such beautiful things! She has worked hard to do that for US, even when she has faced so much loss lately! I am excited to see that line on the 10th, but I’ll be at Riley Hospital with my 5 year old daughter, who is being tested for a congenital condition that my son has. That puts things into perspective for me. There is more in life to worry about than when the Hammond Bay collection will be available for viewing. Denise is an amazing woman who has been through so much, and has opened up and shared this with us. I’m sure your trunk shows will still be huge successes. The sneak peeks that we’ve had prove that! Think about that and look at the big picture before worrying about the little things. Be blessed, and may your trunk shows be a success!
I think that I posted in 3 different places, but I wanted to let you know, Denise, how much I love the heart ruffles. I am a big fan of the Platinum line, and these certainly came to please! I don’t think any little girl could dress in anything sweeter than those ruffles, and the pink dottie top, or just a cute tee, for Valentine’s Day.
ok people, no haters here! yes, Denise encourages input from us, but she is the boss and the originator of MJ! I think she knows what she is doing. She has made us highly anticipate each line and trunk shows have been successful. No worries! Enjoy her creativity that can’t be found anywhere else…
Don’t stress, dear Denise! At least we got the pretty slideshow to drool over =). My girls are already bickering over who gets what. E doesn’t want G to have the same things… but both of them love the raven skirt. G yelled “I called it first!!!!!!”. It’s quiet amusing to watch those two fight over clothes, lol.

OMG… I cant believe some of these post, I think its absolutely ridiculous!! If your a newbie to MJC then fine but come on this is the way it has always been and either hop on and enjoy the ride or get off, but stop complaining on Denise’s blog. This should be a source or joy and relaxation for her and all the negativity…well if I were Denise…I wouldn’t bother! I LOVE all the SNEAK PREVIEWS I’ve seen and can’t wait to see the rest of the line!! Just to let you know Denise..I didn’t think HB would be up any sooner then some time next, so this is 1 long time customer that is NOT dissapointed at all!!!!!

I’m sure that a few days will not make any difference in how awesome Hamond Bay is going to be. This stuff literally sells itself so no amount of time or extra finance planning is going to change that. We’ve all known that HB was coming this month that should be enough to get all of our ducks in a row. Super excited Denise and I think you are an amazing person who has a ton of things going on at the moment. Don’t sweat it….we all love you!!!!!

What a wonderful group of gals! I am so proud to be part of MJC! Remember that there are 92+ of us that see firsthand how hard you work to try and please everyone, even though it is not humanly possible. 
You and David have such a wonderful business because you have integrity, values and passion for what you do and who you do it for. Everyone looks so beautiful! I am so proud of you and let me just say… you can’t always make everyone happy. People don’t have to agree or understand your decisions but respecting them is important. I do have to agree with the others about the pics of Hammond Bay especially if one is having a show…first no sale, then no pics of the line-another disappointment. 
Oh I have totally forgotten my pin. I was once at a fantastic flea market and finding so many wonderful things. I had to run to an ATM and I kept typing in a different pin. The HORROR, it kept my card! Luckily I had some fantastic friends who helped me out but it put a major damper on other things I wanted to buy
I hate to sound cynical, but I’m not surprised. Anymore I hope for the best, but prepare myself for the larger possibility that it won’t come to fruition.
The TK’s look beautiful as always. They are really great ambassadors for MJC. Lovely ladies.
Once again,I apologize. I am completely at fault but regardless it has always been agreement in Matilda Jane that the website goes up the same week. It’s a double edge sword and my mistake. Either I follow what I told them or follow a comment I sent. Though I do strongly feel it will not hurt anyones party fo I have already posted a ton pf pics. Think of it this way, come to my party and you’ll get to see EVEN more great stuff.
I don’t want to be a pain either but EVERYONE thought the pics would be up today! My huge email invite said that they would and now everyone is confused. It totally helps to be able to pass out the invites and then say they can view the website and they can make plans to come to the trunk show! It does help people to plan finaces also. I just don’t understand what it would hurt for the pics to be up. It only gets us more excited about everything!!! Just my opinion…I heart MJ reguardless!
I was hoping to generate a lot of interest for my party on the 16th and told all my girlfriends to look today. So sad there are no pictures to share.

I agree with the previous post…I feel embarrassed to have to keep explaining to Newcomers attending my Trunk Show that “No…the stuff isnt on the website yet”

OK, trying to contain my disappointment here. I REALLY wish you would reconsider posting Hammond Bay earlier. I mean, the invitations SAY you can view the entire collection online and you CANT. That makes us look so silly. That is the main reason I would like it to be posted. People want to see it, it helps with show attendance and with people calling in orders. Some people are out of pocket and have to give you their orders way in advance and they cant if its not posted online to view. Not to mention people need time to choose what they want and find ways to get more money b/c they want it all, lol. SO many of the expensive name brands launch photos of their lines months in advance for “pre-orders” and we are lucky to see the new MJC lines a few days in advance. Just doesn’y make any sense to me. I am certainly not trying to be outspoken or rude but this feeling is shared by MANY and I thought you should know. NOt to mention you had everyones hopes up to see the new line today just to disappoint us again. :O(
I’ll be the voice for many of us that are disappointed about the pics not going up today We all thought they would be up THIS Wednesday? We really like to plan ahead,talk about what we are all ordering, plan our finances, etc…

I did that a few months ago. I could remember every other number in the world but not my PIN number. It went on for days. I would go in a store, check out and blank out. I was so flustered. I finally ended calling the bank and they mailed it to me. I felt so stupid when I opened it and realized what the number was. I honestly believe that my children eating my brain cells. I use to be very smart. LOL!

I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
