Come'on who doesn't love a compliment. It makes your day, all day. That is what I want MJC to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want MJC to showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her to be happy! And that is it.

I love the whole Hammond Bay line. I love the Butterbee lap dress ( I think my little girl would look like an angel in it). I also love the cookie tank top with either the Daphnie Stew ruffles or the Kimmie Straightee. The Pepper knot dress is also adorable and the Stephanie Big Ruffles. To the entire MJCREW…you have all outdone yourselves, once again. Hammond Bay is amazing and it makes me want to walk around listening/singing a little Jimmy Buffett all day for some reason. It is so bright, so cheery, so girly and oh so FUN.

I have to tell you my husband told me, he was so proud of me. Why because I was selling things on craigslist, halfbooks, etc. So I could pay for my MJ addiction myself Then told me he wishes I had the same drive to pay off my credit cards. (makes me smile)

I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
