Come'on who doesn't love a compliment. It makes your day, all day. That is what I want MJC to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want MJC to showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her to be happy! And that is it.

Pretty much every morning gabe crawls into my bed, rubs my cheek and says “Good morning my cuteness.” We’ve got a packed day and I need to get the “newsletter” done by tomorrow night. So I’ll have a answer for you real soon. I kinda know which one, there’s 3 that stick in my head...

my favorite part of my morning is when my daughter erica crawls into our bed at the wee hour of 6am, sweet joe is just precious!
So I was checking the blog last night and Kylee walks up to the computer looks at Gabe and announces to me…now THAT’s the man I’m going to marry. He is so cute…. and I had to agree that yes he is cute and she is only 5 so she doesn’t need to think about marriage yet. I just love how her little mind assumes that she can just pick out a boy and in 16 years she will marry him. ha ha.

Gabe is a doll! What a sweet thing for a little boy to say. Ashlyn makes a point of giving me a kiss and telling me I’m the best mommy in the world at least once a day (sometimes 10 times a day). I think she does it because she wants to hear my response…she’s the best daughter in the world!

Jillian is soon to be 3 in a few weeks. Every morning she comes to me and gives me hugs and kisses and tell me “Mommy – you my favorite, but don’t tell daddy” Then she goes to Daddy and says “Daddy you my favorite, but don’t tell mommy – she will cry – it is our secret”

I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
