Come'on who doesn't love a compliment. It makes your day, all day. That is what I want MJC to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want MJC to showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her to be happy! And that is it.

Jami, I am in emotional pain every time I see the pictures above so I can not even imagine how you felt going and then leaving. Eek. I just wish I could have been a part of it. I won an outfit on the blog a while back and there was the sweetest note in the package when I received the package. That made my day, to have someone take the time to write a small note with the prize. I love MJC and the people and I have not even met them YET! Yes I said yet, b/c I plan on meeting them. I can’t wait for the fall line to come out!

The only way I know how to explain what kind of a time I had is to say that my heart hurt when I had to leave. I have never been in the presence of such an amazing group of women (and man) in my life and it pained me to get on the airplane. I have never felt so special. Denise knows how to throw a party like nobody else and she makes everyone feel like she is there only for them. If you have the opportunity to try and win the 435 contest, I say GET ON IT!!! It is worth every moment of effort you put into it and then some.
I LOVE all the headbands, what a way to finish an outfit off. Thanks for allowing us to have a chance to purchase some new AF pieces. I’m sure you had lots of fun and made many new friends!! Everything’s BEAUTIFUL as always to see. By the way did your winner have a great time??

Thanks for all your hard work, and that of your team. The whole crew amazed me with their cheerful spirit, even during the most hectic, frenzied time. I didn’t reintroduce myself this year because it was such a zoo! Denise, you looked really busy! Heck, we all were busy. Thanks again. I love the items I purchased for me and my daughter. It was so much fun! My daughter was so excited to try them on when we got back to our hotel. She didn’t even take off what she had on. She kept putting her new goodies onto of what she was already wearing! lol

Yes, the prices for the art fair pieces are pretty much identical to regular MJC pieces. And Sallie, all Credit Card Auth forms are indeed kept under lock and key and then shredded after 90 days.
Not sure if it’s a good thing or bad… but my card will be there without me.. I trust my shopper so much more than i do myself and i am loving those tanks….

We accept cash, checks with driver’s license, Mastercard, Visa, Discover. We are not able to accept MJC Gift Cards (these are valid online and through trunk shows only). We are not able to accept American Express.

Oh, one more thing….the donations that are going to be made…are you going to open that up to all of us? I certainly would not mind donating to help with the MJC foundation and I others would like to help too. You always give, give and give some more, so the least I can do is give back! Let me know if you have any plans for this in the future, I would love to contribute.

Honestly, it looks better than a CANDY STORE! All those bright piles of colors and sweet patterns will make any girl wish she could be at 435. I have a feeling that you could pile it up in the middle of the floor and you would still have a bunch of Happy Mommies diving in to find the perfect pieces. That is the great thing about having such a wonderful treasure, everyone wants it no matter how they have to get their hands on it. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Like my Mom who sees my house at it’s worst, then comes for a party here and never fails to comment on how nice it looks and make my hard work feel important and me feel appreciated!

I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
