Thank you it was all worth the wait. I thought my old timer computer had played a not so nice trick on me. The down time gave me time to get something done around my busy house and when I when checked back after dinner I got a sweet gift(shopping). Sorry you had such a crazy day.

♥ Such things come with great success… Technology is always great when it works perfectly, but when it doesn’t work, (especially computer systems) it can be very frustrating. The majority of people were most likely just venting their frustrations on FB, but those who vowed to never come back… well, that leaves more for the rest of us =) ♥♥♥♥ Really, really good sales always seem to result in a “feeding frenzy” (look at “Confessions of a Shopaholic”. But, at least we didn’t have to wait in the cold for hours or wrestle items away from each other (do people really do that?). Besides, our society is sooo dependent on technology as a whole, that when it takes more than a couple of seconds for a page to load on the web, we are cursing how slow it is. Oh well, there is soooo much more to life ♥ Thanks, MJ for the awesome sale and low shipping – I didn’t feel so bad having to go back a couple times ♥ I have officially survived a MJC sale!

MJC rocks! The sale rocks, the clothes rock…everything about it rocks! I can’t wait to get my package in the mail…I love, love, love seeing my UPS man drive up in my driveway…he even knows my Matilda Jane packages are special =) Don’t you for a minute feel bad about us having to wait today…learning a little patience never hurt anybody!!

I waited 3 hrs this afternoon and lost all of the items in my bag. I just went on again and everything was still there and it was such a smooth process. Thanks for your dedication to providing the best items and working through all of the bumps in the road! How amazing to have an Oprah Effect!

Thanks so much again for such a great sale!!! It was well worth the wait. And yes, it took me 5 whole hours of stalking MJC today, and reading some nasty fb posts but I think it goes to show you what a great group of devoted followers you have!!! Now I will be stalking the UPS man for the next month!!!

It was worth my wait – my daughter said that she had to have that “’tilda ma’jane” maggie stew dress!!!! It kept coming and going and we got it!!!!!!

It took me three and a half hours to get my first order through and about 10 minutes to get my second order through! Something popped back up that was gone when I placed the first order – SO KEEP CHECKING!!! It was well worth the wait to have my daughter so excited to get the pieces she wanted!! I noticed that if I got thrown off – it kept the items in my cart – it was when I restarted it that I would lose items – be patient! It will work! Thanks Denise!!!!!

i’m glad you posted this. i’m glad you have the attitude you do about it…you are right. i left an encouraging word on the facebook page, then got sucked into reading so many nasty comments. i love MJC, but all i could think of was that there are 30,000 children who die from preventable causes EVERY SINGLE DAY and people are mad they can’t fill their carts with more clothes?!? don’t get me wrong, we enjoy nice clothes, too, but honesty? can’t we all just love a little better?

Just now reading the blog for the last few days and I so agree with you- some things are worth stressing about – like your childs wellbeing – and other things are not- especially things that you cant change and just have to work themselves out. Its taken me a long time to realize that – but its so worth it. Things get frustrating for sure- but in the end – its not worth getting stressed out about. Thank you for the sale and letting us all have a shot at getting things we wanted for a good price – I for one think it was worth all the hours sitting here waiting for the order to go thru! Yesterday was the first time i ordered on the sale and I thought it was kind of fun, the challenge of it all. I never got frustrated or upset and got everything i wanted in the end. I LOVE MJ and can’t wait to get it in the mail. Thank you for all you do! It is very appreciated by so many!

Denise- Thank you for announcing the time of the sale even though that inevitably brings more traffic. I was eventually able to get nearly everything on my list. I didn’t have to leave my home, commute in traffic, fight a crowded store etc so waiting online reallly wasn’t so bad, and I got some beautiful things. Thank you

I also came across this quote today and thought it was very fitting…“Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.” So the server wasn’t perfect at first, but now it’s better than before Thanks again.

I was just on Facebook and saw all the nasty comments people were making. It made me so sad to see how ugly people were being. I know that I am not the only one that realizes how great you were to put these items through on an online sale as opposed to doing a “yard sale” in your area. You are not Target so this requires more work on your part. So thank you all the way from Tennessee for going through all the stress and crap for customers like myself who would otherwise not get to shop for MJ at these great prices.

for every person that complains, remember there are many more who really appreciate everything you & MJC crew do for us! fortunately, my order did go through. i had to wait quite some time, but i expected that going into it. it really was well worth the wait! people have to remember that this isn’t the last of MJC, the fall line is right around the corner. . . can’t wait!!! and many more lines will follow! by the way, i’m hoping the clothes that Katherine is wearing is from the fall line. . . i’m loving them!!!

I love the pic! So appropriate right now People need to keep in mind that it is just clothes. (Adorable, sweet, wonderful clothes, but clothes nonetheless). It is not the end of the world, or of MJC, if someone misses out on a dress. You guys will continue to make gorgeous things for girls and the fall line is right around the corner… I figure I’ll check later tonight and if what I want is gone, I’ll take it as a sign that I should save my money for the fall
