I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. OK … so maybe I have taken this to a whole new level, but I definitely deserve an A for effort. I saw the photo on FB and my TK tagged in it the day before you gave us this chalenge, so I had to track it down … thank goodness for Traci Farina because without her pictures I would have never even had a shot … then I literally went to everyone she had tagged and tried to figure out who was who. I think I might need to be committed! LOL Anyway … I had 6 out of the 7 identified correctly and without someone directly telling me, but now know that I had one of the girls misidentified. I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
