I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. Wish I had a great idea of where you are headed for a field trip, but at this point in the game most great answers have been taken. Whatever & whereever, I hope it will be a great time! You all deserve it with the hard work and dedication you have shown over the last few weeks. Last week in Northern Wisconsin we had a terrible hail storm. My house was hit hard- we need a new roof, gutters, facia, windows, garage doors, siding & front door! In the middle of my husband & the insurance assessor assessing the damage- who drives down the driveway, but the UPS man! I started jumping up & down, dancing & sceaming- the insurance man looked at me like I was crazy & my husband said, “It must be another Matilda Jane package!” The insurance man then said, “whatever it is must be something really good. I’ve never seen anyone get so excited when their house has this much damage.”
Okay last shot before site goes down… Aprons, personalized license plates, something for chelsa, getting cutting scissors engraved, engraved iphones, SPANX, big magnetic MJC advetising for all y’alls cars, a new couch to chill on and big screen t.v., Shoe shoping, SPA DAY, BFF charms, … okay I’m throwing up my white flag. haha Have fun on your field trip whatever you do!!! Furniture for the warehouse…so that when you all take a break you can lay down on the new comfy couch and watch tv. Those long hours can be hard, but well worth it! Going to Chicago for a girls weekend leaving David at home to handle any last minute field trip needs. Stopping by mcdonalds on your way out to get a diet coke. While in Chicago, get a spa treatment, stroll by the lake, shop, eat a nice meal and drink a few bottles of wine before returning back to Indiana. I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
