Africa Bound in 9 days…

I cannot believe there are only NINE days until we start our journey to Rwanda!!! I’m so excited that I’m literally forcing myself to not just type a million exclamation points. HA! Instead, I will end every sentence with about 3 exclamation points!!! 🙂

It’s really starting to sink in!!! The other day someone asked when we leave and I told them “next Friday”. Which was SO weird to say! It’s not “40 days” or “two months” anymore. It’s next Friday!!!

I’ve been wearing all the outfits I’m taking on the trip to make sure they are comfortable. Because there is nothing worse then taking clothes on a trip and you end up being uncomfortable the whole time! So far everything is perfect. I have my Malaria medication, passport, plane tickets and I’ve started my packing list (I make a list of everything I’m bringing and then I take the list with me to make sure I bring everything back. haha!)  Everything is falling into place and it’s wonderful!

Man, I just realized that this is going to be my first big trip without my husband. I’m a little sad about that, but I know I will make some wonderful memories with Kayla and Kiki! Josh and I have been to some great places together and we always come back with awesome photos….Now I’ve gotten side-tracked and I’m looking through all my old photos of trips to Alaska, Barcelona, Cabo San Lucas…Oh, I can’t wait to add photos of Rwanda to my albums!!!

Just wait ladies…I’m going to need about 20 SD cards for all the pictures I’m planning to take! And I can’t wait to share them with you!!! Maybe we will even Tweet/Facebook pictures FROM Rwanda! Oh how fun would that be! So stay tuned…and be prepared for the journey of a lifetime!!!
