Come'on who doesn't love a compliment. It makes your day, all day. That is what I want MJC to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. I noticed the shadows – behind the bucket and under the bucket handle and I am going to guess a memory with some loved family member (maybe you and your darling sons) playing with y’alls shadows because my two girls and I do this all the time – in fact just this week we were making our shadows hold hands!!

Your blog on Turnstone and your son playing on the beach. I always remember that picture! It was beautiful. I am a pediatric occupational therapist and work with so many kids with autism and I was inspired to get one of the Joe’s turn bags. I refreshed all day that week because I wanted one so badly because of the money being donated to that organization and to help children with autism.

So excited! Hosting my first show… virtually. We’ve had a tough year – but we are so thankful and grateful for what we do have! My awesome Trunk Keeper that is now local to us (after having to move all over for Caleb’s care) is donating 10% toward research of his rare genetic disorder! On top of that – I wanted to give. So I’m sewing a brand new dress to be donated to DressaGirlAroundtheWorld.com for ever dress sold through my show! I can’t wait I’m nowhere near as good as you can – but I hope I can get creative!
Would love to be able to catch platinium to see all the new tags and labels… It has been a long time! I remember the good old days when platinium was easy to grab and the blog (when it first got started)might have a handful of loyal customers committing or trying to win a contest-those days were much easier to get all the goodies we loved!!! Miss those days-is that being selfish or just making me sound like a long time addict??!!!
Ahh … all the thrill is absolutely killing me!!! By the way, I am going to take a totally wild guess …: the “little secret” is that you all have thrown in a maternity dress(es), top(s) and/or pants as part of the Collection!? Somehow, these graphics -from the cute little kitty cat to the very mischievous-looking woodchuck (!) to, of course, all the lovelies- took me right back to circa-1975 Japan, where I grew up …. Absolutely love all the spring-y colors! Couldn’t help but to chuckle at the “No babies, just a little secret” … any clues as to what the “secret” may be …?

I met Tracy for the first time yeserday when she drooped off my MJ packet (invitations, etc) for my upcoming Trunk Show in Biloxi. I am so excited about working with her! The minute we met via phone, I knew we would get along great & she was a great addition to our Matilda Jane family! South MS has not had much in the past so I am super pumped up that Tracy is now on board because I am an Official MJ addict & I know we will be great friends throughtout this process. Not to mention the great girls I have met on the MJ websites and on facebook. We all have our common interests – Our kids, our clothes, & our LOVE for Matilda Jane. Welcome aboard Tracy! I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
