Introducing:
Debra Fox of Cherry Hill, NJ
Q: Please tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from and where are you now?
A: I am from Ocean City, New Jersey and now live about an hour away in Cherry Hill, New Jersey just outside Philadelphia.
Q: I always love to hear about the incredible husbands that support the crazy schedule of a MJ Trunk Keeper. What makes your so special?
A: My husband, Jim, and I are high school sweethearts. He is the kindest and most thoughtful man I know. He always puts his family first and no matter what I end up getting myself into, he’s my biggest supporter. I am the luckiest girl in the world!
Q: My favorite thing to talk about is my kids. Tell us about YOURS.
A: Our daughter, Avery; 5 years old, is the most creative and imaginative little girl I know. She enjoys life to the fullest. She’s a girly girl and loves all things art. Our son, Jameson; 2 years old, is a sweet and loving little boy who loves to spend time outside exploring. He just learned the sign for more and he now wants more of everything!
Q: If you could wear one item every day, what would that be?
A: Oh it would be a cardigan sweater! If I could wear one everyday, my life would be complete.
Q: How did Matilda Jane find YOU?
A: My daughter was given her first Matilda Jane outfit as a gift when she was born and I have been hooked ever since. I love the way Matilda Jane makes her look and feel – super sweet and happy! When the opportunity arose to be a Trunk Keeper, I just knew the stars were aligned.
Q: If you could have lunch with ANYONE, who would it be and why?
A: My college friends. I went to Butler University in the Midwest so I don’t get to see them as much as I’d like. I love how we always pick up right where we left off. I love to laugh and they make me laugh!
Q: What are 5 words your friends would use to describe you?
A: Loyal, fun, hard working, creative and dependable.
Q: Besides your family, what are you most passionate about?
A: Finding a cure for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. Our son was diagnosed with TSC at 5 months old and I am passionate about raising funding for science that ultimately results in the gift of hope.
Q: Share with us just ONE very important thing you do to try to leave this world a better place.
A: Etiquette. Call me old fashion but I love hand written thank you notes, invitations and greeting cards. There’s nothing better than getting mail. It just makes my day!
Q: What store makes your heart go pitter patter when you shop in it?
A: Pottery Barn Kids…I’m obsessed.
Q: What do you value more? Possessions or travel?
A: Travel. We vacation every year at Christmas and forgo gifts because the greatest gift for us is to spend time with each other.
Q: If given the opportunity to have the day to yourself, how would you spend it?
A: On the beach.
Q: If you could crawl into the pages of any book, what would it be and why?
A: I’m not one for books, but I do love my laptop. Close enough?
Q: What is YOUR “must have” Paint by Numbers piece?
A: My favorite Paint by Numbers piece is my Daybreak Cardigan. My daughter loves her American Beauty dress. She’s still spinning!
