Just thought I’d share that little boring ol’ story for you but now I promised Sam I would come into work and cut for a bit. Which I am happy about but sucks cuz my pants are too short (due to the chubbyness accumulating on my thighs) and I have a zillion things to get done here but hey, I do get to drive by McDonald’s. Dang it, now all I want to do is open up the cupboard that houses the garbage and get the rest of the peeps that I did not open. Ya, I’m gross but hey, they are sealed!!!

Okay, I must focus…okay, I could settle for the chocolate bunny!  OH and I got a bike, so excited…I so gotta go…bye

My head is still spinning with the previous early morning ideas…they are almost down on paper. Almost.

I love all these darling pics I have been getting of brothers and sisters. Are they not the sweetest duo? Talk about sweet….. Gabe asked Joe if he would sleep in his room with him tonite. Joe actually agreed!! Amazing. Joe is tending to be a bit selfish lately. It is so hard to teach that. To be honest, and I am not bragging, or trying to sound cool, but I really am not much of a selfish person nor is David. I know kids don’t mean to be, but I am constantly saying “Joe, you are cleaning the kitchen counter to help me, not to get to play a video game. You do things to help each other not because you want something in return.” That is the hardest thing to teach a kid, and it is not so much that they are selfish, I just think they don’t know otherwise. Who knows..

Alrighty, now I must get back to work.

Thank you guys for all the fantastic pics! It’s so fun to see how you all mix and match. Did you know I’m actually having a Trunk Show this Friday. Well, I am not…but it is at my house. Rebekah is the Jane but I’m hosting, kinda confusing but I am so excited and so nervous. I’m a dork around too many people.  It is the best incentive to get my house unpacked though!! Joe is home sick today so I suppose I should put him to work too, huh? Though David gave him strict order to rest and read ALL day. Cleaning can be relaxing.

Back to work. I hate putting away tools. that is so David’s job!

But I’ll stop cuz I need to tell you what happened when I was cleaning the garage. And no, no gross bug or dead birds or stashes of money, just WISDOM. So I am cleaning and I need to run out to the  end of the driveway (yes, I said driveway, MY driveway) to check on Gabe. He was playing with a sweet neighbor boy named Joe. I tell Joe I’m real tired of cleaning the garage. He looks at me with those eyes of a 6 yr old and says, “Mrs. DeMarchis, don’t waste your time doing something you don’t like waste your time doing something you like.” Yes, he’s 6.

I have so many things to post, you still need to meet Sam. I love that cat. We love that cat. You need to see the house and my new cute chair. Oh, and my new painting, The Smoker. I lucked out and traded Anne a painting for my trailer we used for art fairs! Always love a good trade.

And how about 2 Hammond Bay numbers. Wait 3…..4410, 56 and 50.  Now how about who ever can tell me what these represent we’ll get you a little surprise. First one in takes the cake.

We are all sleeping together now. Yup, me, Joe, Gabe and David. Everything is moved but my bed. Everything is moved and nothing is put away.

I take that back. Today my friend Anne and I dusted David’s Star Wars stuff and put it up. And we organized books.  Guess what was packed in the Star Wars stuff? Strawberry Shortcake and she was complete with the Purple PieMan and about 6 other pals, including my faves Orange Blossom and Lemon Meringue.
