I seriously, seriously have something wrong with my brain. It has been at least 3 days and I cannot stop thinking. Okay, yes, thinking is good but when it is all about MJC, barrettes, fixing up an old house, or fabrics it gets a little overwhelming. I can’t turn it off. Maybe Lynette would call this my creative mode but is it is not. I may just be having an anxiety attack. I should say attacks. There are way too many things I want to do. Too many.

And that would be the reason for the lack of blogging.I cannot keep a single strain of thought. I may just be crazy. Either way I need to get my act together for Friday we take Joe to Birmingham. We’ll be gone for 3 weeks and there’s a million “to do” list that need to be created.

And now I must go pick up Gabe from school. Sam says she’ll blog tomorrow cuz I am boring……well, I just always say the same stuff.

Hi Ladies! Just wanted everyone to know that we have some scheduled maintenance that needs to occur on our server tomorrow, Thursday Aug 26th from about noon EST to 3pm EST. So, don’t be alarmed if you see an “under construction” sign on any of our sites. We’ll only be offline for a bit. We’re just getting our hardware ready for the Field Trip Collection 2. Pics of the second collection will be up sometime on 9/1/10.

Seriously, it is so weird to me, so flattering to me to have all of you. It’s crazy. never had I imagined i would get a box full of pics of the most beautiful photos of little ones wearing my clothing, nor did I ever expect I would meet so many fabulous customers, and my gosh, this weekend I got to meet around 70+ TK’s who all have the hugest heart and are now part of Matilda Jane Clothing. It is truly amazing, almost kinda surreal.

Okay, Gabe just came in here with a pink shrug on asking if he looked cute and could he maybe get a pink one. Pure cuteness. Now he is singing Hey Soul Sister…

And now I lost my train of thought. Yup, it’s as easy as that, a 4yr old enters and I lose my mind!

So the Field Trip…..so right around the corner and tomorrow my plate will be cleared. I am catching up on emails right now and getting 435 re-organized, so tomorrow will be the beginning of some real fun giveaways.

The festivities are over and I am totally taking today to do nothing. Well, nothing besides catch up on emails, blog, clean the house, and clean up 435. But that is it and the rest of the day…totally laying in the sun. I realized I hadn’t even shared a single pic from our France Trip. So here you go, and all of course are of Joe!! Oh, Oh…I need to take a pic of him, we shaved his head. I’ll be back tonite with some more pics, I just didn’t want you to think I had forgotten I have a blog!!

And fill it to the rim….and today they sent 2 trucks. We’ve already warned them Monday would be a replay.

Tomorrow is the day Kayla come home!!! She’s been on vacation and we can hardly wait to get her back!! WOW..Now I will say, I am not a slacker, nor lazy but I do work at home a lot. And most of my work allows me to sit and sit in a house with AC. Well, due to the overwhelming success of our sale (and a huge thanks to you) I have been working at 435 pulling shows. It is now I realize, holy cow (and yes, I knew this before) but my girls are amazing. They work so hard, on their feet all day, no AC, in a steamy hot building with about 20 fans and never complain. Without these girls, life at 435 would be pretty dang tough. A huge thanks to them. I love you!!

I am sure just as we get all sales orders out the door, it will be time for the Field Trip!! I swear I have never seen so many boxes. We are shipping about 600 plus a day thanks to David puling a night shift!! Love that guy too!

And now, I must get this house cleaned up and off to bed for another day of pulling. I am so our of show shape. My feet kill!!!

Got up at 7am sharp, dressed, kids up, dressed, laundry started, house cleaned and now we are off to pick up Sophie, Claudia, Abi and Jessica in Michigan. They are coming down to hang with us for a few days. And if they are lucky, real lucky, I’ll let them help fold shipping boxes!!! David is staying to ship, you should see the massive pile. I’ll try to stop in and take a pic. I’ve got huge goals of shipping out all sale orders FAST… Huge, but I know my girls and I know they can do it.

Many of you have already noticed this, but because the shipping for the sale is a flat $2, it turns out that Platinum shipping is by default the same. Our system doesn’t allow us to specify different shipping rates for the main website and the Platinum website. So even though Platinum is not 40% off, you can order whatever you’d like for just $2 shipping to the lower 48.
