Love, love, love . . . .I wanted to share a special mother/daughter moment I had with Amelia a few nights ago. We are reading “The Little House on the Prairie” and discussing how little they had but how they were happy. This turned into a Youtube moment then when I shared with her a video of Dolly Parton singing “My Coat of Many Colors”, which then led to tears on my part. Amelia listened well and caught on to the words about Joseph’s amazing coat. Do you know where this is going? She piped right in with, ” Matilda Jane is the same way!”. She doesn’t know your company’s history or motto, but she does feel the love. There is just something special about the way the clothes give her an extra bounce in her step, sparkle in her eye, and smile on her face.

My girls and I would like to thank the Matilda Jane crew for making such innovative clothing that we love to show off. I love it when my older daughter wakes up and ask to wear her MJC. I just wish we would have discovered MJC clothing before she was 11 and 5’4” because she loves the tween line (eventhough she is getting too big to wear it). She would love to have a Hobo Bag so I hope this is her lucky day!!!

Totally having one of “those” days today too. Didn’t get to bed until 1am because the dog ran off and rolled in something horrible when I let him out to do his thing before bed. So, he got a bath then the babe was up for the day at 3:30am *yawn* I left the house for a little “me” time after getting into a spat with the hubby and managed to get cursed out by some dude while I was trying to take a relaxing drive around the wildlife refuge. But the sun is shining now and I’m just going to focus on that

Sorry your having this cruddy weather as well… Stinks huh? Love the Sara and the shorts. Now are they red and pink? lol
I also am having one of those days. I am sick, sick, sick. But my 8 year old is taking care of the 2 year old’s (who is in training) potty trips. He even offered to make lunch for everyone. All 3 older kids were quiet while the baby napped so that I could also nap. It is a rotten day but it does not take much to remember how lucky you really are.

I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
