A Thankful Spread the Love

Well gals, it’s time to dig deep and think about those little moments that were, in truth, “huge” moments.  The times when your little ones were having a bad day but there was no way you could keep them home, but you knew their teacher would be there and mother them the same as you would. Ahhh gotta love those teachers. They save the day. Not only do they open open up our younglings minds, they nurture their souls.  For 6-8 hours a day we are able to breathe and go to work because we trust in our teachers. And this month it’s time to Spread some Love back at them.

This November, I want to add in Nurses. My gosh, over the past 4 months I have a new sense of appreciation for these gals and guys. They have been my friend, my caregiver and my sense of hope through it all. It’s crazy how a nurse can become a good friend in a matter of moments. This most certainly is a special group who deserve lots of Spread the Love.

So how does it work? Simple. Just tell us your story and why you have the perfect recipient for a Spread the Love. Email us at spreadthelove@matildajaneclothing.com with your nominee’s full name, address, and size. This information must be complete and in one email.

See, simple. And we will do the rest. Our Platinum girls will read each and every email. They will then choose between 100-150 nominations. We will then package up a great little gift of Matilda Jane Clothing with a random note and send it on it’ way.  Please note, these are random acts of kindness so we do not include your name nor personal messages. It’s all about a simple and sweet thank you for doing what you do.

PLEASE NOTE: deadline for entries is November 12.

Carrie, you are supposed to e-mail the info….

This is the e-mail address from the above blog post.

Her name is Jenny Sportel and she is a size extra small or small. Her daughter is a size 4. Address: 446 Tulip; Schoolcraft, Michigan; 49087.
She is an amazing teacher who recently lost her dad to brain cancer. Despite this personal hardship in her life, she continues to bring her very best teaching to her students every day. She was my daughter’s first grade teacher and she helped give my daughter a sense of self confidence that has made a huge difference in her life at a young age. She helped her feel sure of herself by believing in her and all her students. She is truely teaching her students how to be leaders in their lives now and apply it to their future. I cannot thank her enough for the powerful impact she made on my daughter’s life. She selflessly gives back to each of her students daily in so many ways. She is helping raise up leaders for tomorrow. Thank you, Jenny.

Question…if we have one nurse and one teacher to nominate, should they be in separate e-mails or can the be all in one?

I love this program!
