I already know I am going to love this week. So much anticipation brewing, so many boxes being packed and unpacked getting ready for the big game and so much spring cleaning going on. And for our new gals it is almost as if they entered Spring Training. Oh, this is crazy (as I rub my face with both hands), wow, how have we grown this much? Seriously, I do not feel it but when Lynette tells me we have 175 Tk’s and Becky tells me we have 900 on the guest list for the Pre-party I’m a little overwhelmed. Last year it was 130 Tk’s (?) and 300 on the guest list! It’s like a whole new ballgame. Ya, Lynette even told me she would call the Mayor and beg for help to find the perfect place. Ya, my backyard may be a little too small. Though I love it!. But I will say I am stubborn. I refuse to have a party inside a convention hall. No way. And the girls pretty much know don’t bother to bring up that suggestion. To me a true Art Fair is all about outside and setting up tents.
So many things on the horizon, so many things I cannot wait to show you. We’ve got an amazing partnership to share, 3 girls trying to raise funds to get to Africa, a huge Habitat for Humanity Auction, the Charity Dress (which, I have not forgotten about), and what is so close to my heart is all the money we have raised just this month for Turnstone through Joe’s Turn bags and ticket sales!
