Art Fair 2013

Can you believe that Art Fair weekend has come and gone?! It’s all I’ve been hearing about for a month straight and I have to say, it totally exceeded my expectations! I had such a blast meeting so many of you in person – so great to put a name with the face! Not to mention, all the luncheons, dinners, and pre-parties were so completely perfect. I already can’t wait to see what we have in store for next year!

Thursday night we all had so much fun at the Dinner & Trolley Tour! Kayla and Chelsa did an awesome job with trivia on my trolley. Plus, the prizes were the cutest little platinum aprons! <3 We all learned more about the Mighty Acorn Foundation and how to sponsor a child.

Friday morning at the luncheon we got to learn so much about Chicks for Children and the wonderful things they are doing in Africa! You can learn more about them, here

Friday night was completely a dream, the most gorgeous pre-party I have ever been too! (or any party for that matter!) Face painters, unicorn rides, carnival games, an ice cream bar…… it literally could not have been any better! I loved seeing SO many adorable little kids with fairy wings, animal balloons, and a wonderfully painted face. So sweet to see their huge grins while they were all running around! 😀

And the day we were all waiting for!! Saturday! We had so many awesome vendors come out to Art Fair. Livie & Luca shoes were as cute as could be, Maya’s Curls had so many adorable accessories that paired perfectly with any Matilda Jane outfit, and of course The Good Ones had to stop by for all the little dudes! Thankfully we were caffeinated all day by the Coffee Beanery! Those guys made some seriouslydelicious drinks!

Meeting so many of you was definitely the highlights of my personal experience of Art Fair. I absolutely loved chatting with so many sweet MJ mama’s; their faces would completely light up when I asked about their children, so fun to see! I asked a few of you what your favorite part about Art Fair was?

Ketti Carter said, “Art Fair Has honestly been everything I’d hoped it would be. Meeting the other MJ moms has definitely been one of the best parts!”

Courtney and her sweet daughter Addie said, “The pre-party was my favorite part – by far! There have been so many great things though, and the dresses are just too cute. I’m definitely getting back in line!”

Jenine Weinstein said, “Honestly the best part has been meeting and hanging out with all these wonderful people. I really love the social part, and the dresses are just icing on the cake!”

Kelly Czarniewaki said, “Just seeing all this eye candy is amazing! – the colors, different fabrics – it’s all so pretty to look at. Matilda Jane really puts on an awesome Art Fair!”

I really hope you all had as much fun as I did! Can’t wait to see you all next year!!

Thank you again for a wonderful weekend! We had an amazing time; probably our best time yet! My favorite part of the preparty (besides being surrounded by all of that amazing Hammond Bay) was sitting on the grass with my friends and watching all of the beautiful girls (and boys) running around having so much fun! I am thankful for a company that will not only provide beautiful clothing, but an event to look forward to every year! WK was in tears on Saturday, as she didn’t want it all to end! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to be a part of the ‘family’ every year! We <3 you MJC!
