Sometimes I think too much before I blog. I swear I just spend 15 minutes looking for a cute pic, but I decided to go non MJC and give you cute Joe when he was about 5. He was so cute, but actually I think more sweet! And why is it today I find myself constantly saying, “Joe, you need to think about what you are saying before you say it.”  Gosh, it was so much easier when they we little. Now I feel the overwhelming responsibility of making sure the boys are nice, respectful young lads. It is hard. You all know that. As Joe gets older I am seeing his personality shine through. He does have a huge heart but gosh, sometimes I want to strangle him and say, “Joe, did you even think about how you would make Gabe feel before you said that?” Ahhhh, growing up is hard to do.

So as I am walking down memory lane looking at these photos of my boys, I came across so many photos from you guys. Oh, my! I just had to share cuz I knew they would jog your brain exactly to where mine is,  “Enjoy what you have and savor every moment because it someday you will not be the center of their world” I hope that sound ok. You know what I mean…. I always worry about what I say and that someone will take it the wrong way. Gosh, I need to stop worrying.

Here’s just a few, a very few, of the photos I have. I love seeing your pics! It really makes me think to myself, “wow, it’s so cool, that little miss is wearing one of my dresses.” Love that feeling.  So in light of shaping our kids to be the best girl/boy the can be and the trial and tribulations of being a mom, my contest of the day, (well, few days? ) is to post older pic on our FB wall and let us know a simple lesson of life you are working on. I’ll randomly select 3 or 4 pics to get a great hobo bag with a nice stash inside!
