As we commemorate Childhood Cancer Awareness this month, we had the opportunity to connect with our friends at the American Childhood Cancer Organization to create another special piece to benefit this amazing non-profit. Matilda Jane Clothing has long been a company of creating pieces with a purpose and we couldn’t have been more excited and inspired when it came to dreaming up a beautiful dress that not only benefits so many sweet kiddos and their families but also one that your little ones will love and feel good in.

Last year our team had the opportunity to work with Julie, one of our sweet Trunk Keepers, Katie Ann, Bennett’s mother and Jamie with ACCO to release the Brave & Beautiful Bennett Knot Dress (see a little more about this here). This dress was inspired by and named after little Miss Bennett who passed away in October 2015 of pediatric cancer. Our AMAZING MJ community came together and within minutes the dress sold out… excited and grateful were just the start of the feelings that were running through all of us, and right then we just knew that another collaboration had to happen.

We were so excited to bring the team back together again to create a beautiful design for our 2019 Brave & Beautiful Bennett Knot Dress. Little Miss Bennett was in mind down to every last detail! The team wanted this sweet piece to radiate beauty, joy and all things girl from floral fabrics, ruffles, soft buttery hues (of course a little pink!) and pops of gold as it is the color for pediatric cancer awareness. The only thing really missing now is a twirl from your little girl to finish off the piece!

We hope you will join us this Tuesday, September 17 as we honor sweet little Bennett and release our second Brave & Beautiful Bennett Knot Dress. The latest Platinum upload will go up on matildajaneplatinum.com at 12pm EST and portion proceeds for this pretty piece will benefit ACCO, the oldest and largest grassroots childhood cancer organization in the U.S. There are so many little ones who have a strong, joyful spirit and show so much courage as they fight against cancer, and our thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone one of them. #gogold

Since August 10, 2018, my now 4 year old littlest grandson Pryce, has battled stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer.
Thank you for designing such a beautiful dress and boy’s outfits that will help fight this horrible disease through funding the ACCO!
Pryce and his 4 siblings and my other granddaughter have long been fans of and wear the Manila Jane clothing. Now there is even more reason to like your company!
Blessings for supporting our warrior children and grandbabies!
God is good!
