More than Words…

blog-2Once again, you had me at hello. The photos. The stories. The creativity. The thought. The love. The words. My gosh you guys, you trying to make my eyes swell? Beautiful. They were all beautiful. Thank you for your time and heart you put into your entries.  But there was one that stood out. To be completely honest I did not have time to find the photo on FB that went with the words. I scrolled through mass amounts of amazing photographs and words. Overwhelmed by them all. But there was one that had words that struck a chord with me. And here it is:

blog-5Kayla, speechless. Wow. Thank you. And I feel half silly saying email Lauren, with your information and she will hook you up with the complete Release One. I feel 1/2 silly because  when someone gives you beautiful words like above how do you say thank you? How do I say thank you to any of you? It’s crazy how this little thing called “love” turned into Matilda Jane. It’s crazy how Matilda Jane turned into Mighty Acorns. Aghh…I’m so lucky!!!

blog 1So Thursday quite a few of us from the home office (ha, crazy that we have a place called the “home office”) will be splitting up and traveling throughout the good ‘ol USA. It’s that time of year when our fabulous Trunk Keepers gather together to talk about everything MJC.  Sam, Allison and I are heading to Austin TX.  I’m pretty excited about that. I need some warmth. My bald head keeps me cold. And speaking of cold, let’s chat about looking old….my hair is coming in WHITE. Hmm…

blog-3Sorry so short, but I got lots of Spring 15 to work on! Stay close. Once I get back from Austin there will be more fun to be had.

Oh my! This is such an inspiration and such an amazing company! I just received an order that I placed a couple weeks ago and I am soooooo excited! It is so amazing to be a customer and fan of a company that truly cares about the customers, the product, the detail, the packaging, etc, etc! I am beyond impressed!!! To see that a woman facing such obstacles can deliver a product at such a superior level is incredible! I can say without a doubt, that me and my 2 girls are now lifetime Matilda Jane fans. Thank You for being amazing!!!

Beautiful words. I had to smile when you said your hair was coming in white. My grandfather fought cancer twice once early in his life and his hair turned white and it was as curly as ever. After my daughters birth due to the amount of medication needed to keep me in a coma my hair fell out. I remember having about 30 individual hairs and thinking to myself please grow back. Even white curls would be okay. I never went trully bald but I lost everything other than the hair around my ears and near my neck. My hair has just reached my shoulders two years later. It came in mostly brown with white streaks. I laugh because my daughter was born with white patches also. It is as if we were given matching battle scars. But we fought and against some strong odds and we both survived. Enjoy that sun and I have heard Tx has some of the best BBQ and friendly people. I have been trying to get my husband to move there forever. Have a good trip and everyone stay safe.

Beautiful words and a beautiful blessing! Kayla’s husband was laid off recently and while he has just started a new job, things are very tight for them right now and this is a blessing beyond words for her! Matilda Jane has surely been blessed to be a blessing! Carry on!
