Oops, almost forgot.

For those of you who aren’t able to come to the 435 Art Fair, but are going to have a friend doing some shopping for you, please download and fill out the Credit Card Authorization form.  Just like last year, this will allow your “personal shopper” to purchase things for you using your card so you won’t have to worry about settling up with her later.  Of course, if you prefer to have your shopper pay for everything and the two of you work out the details later, that is fine too.

If you decide to use the Credit Card Authorization form, your shopper needs to have the form with her when she checks out at the art fair.  Notice that the form also requires a photocopy of the front/back of the card.  Please do not email or fax the form into our office.  It must be in the hands of your personal shopper.  The best advice is to download the form, fill it out, make the required photocopies, and then scan and email it to your lucky friend who will be attending.

Paci Smuggla (Kathy G) - June 25, 2010 - 1:15 pm

Can someone tell me if there will be an online art fair this year. I can’t make it and I don’t have a personal shopper. Would love some tank dresses. Thanks, Kathy frank1cg@aol.com

Renee - June 24, 2010 - 3:34 pm

Cariann - June 24, 2010 - 2:42 pm

Denise - June 24, 2010 - 8:05 am

Yes, the prices for the art fair pieces are pretty much identical to regular MJC pieces. And Sallie, all Credit Card Auth forms are indeed kept under lock and key and then shredded after 90 days.

Lil - June 24, 2010 - 12:44 am

Not sure if it’s a good thing or bad… but my card will be there without me.. I trust my shopper so much more than i do myself and i am loving those tanks….
Yummmmmmy!!!!!!

Sallie - June 23, 2010 - 11:02 pm

Just curious, will these forms be kept under lock and key afterwards?

cct - June 23, 2010 - 9:26 pm

Are the prices for the artfair pieces similar to the regular MJC pieces? Darn budget. I need to know how much I can tell my sweet shopper to buy:)

Denise - June 23, 2010 - 7:01 pm

We accept cash, checks with driver’s license, Mastercard, Visa, Discover. We are not able to accept MJC Gift Cards (these are valid online and through trunk shows only). We are not able to accept American Express.

Kim from Griffith - June 23, 2010 - 6:54 pm

What forms of payment are you accepting this year? Last year was cash, check & …what credit cards? Thanks 🙂

Laura Ann - June 23, 2010 - 4:39 pm

Okay, this post is great…just trying to warn all the MJ Crazees before they show up with the wrong stuff in hand? So prepared…I love it. If anyone is feeling left out that you have no one to be a personal shopper for…shoot be an email and you can be mine (ha ha). Seriously, I am so excited for everyone that gets to attend and I hope to goodness you get lotso good stuff.

The countdown is on and I am stressing out..really stressing out. So much to do, and the clock has almost run out. But fear not, we’ll get it done. I have great girls and they never fail me….

and so many people keep asking the details, see above. Oh, one MINOR thing I forgot, our address is 435 E. Brackenridge St.  Fort Wayne, IN  46802.

Alrighty, gotta run. Sorry so short but the clock is ticking…see you real soon

jami - June 22, 2010 - 9:00 pm

Oh Holy Hallelujah!!! 3 MORE DAYS!!!!

Dawn - June 22, 2010 - 8:41 pm

Looking good! I think you will pull it all off just fine! Seems like there is never enough time for anything, and it’s that perfectionist in you that keeps adding to the list, I’m sure. It’s almost like preparing for a wedding with all the stress to get it all done, then in a day or so it’s over. Hmmm…and this time you even get the Honeymoon, how cool! I’m sure it will be well deserved! I don’t know if I want you to post pics of the size 8s or not, because we are still figuring out schedules so not sure if I can make it. I do know that Spenser wants to go to the Art Fair!

Beautifulclothing - June 22, 2010 - 8:25 pm

Where is the party on Friday night? Thanks! 🙂

DKW - June 22, 2010 - 7:40 pm

Thanks for the pics Denise! Do you think that is a Mighty Acorn t-shirt attached to a skirt? How cute would that be for my girl twin to have the Mighty Acorn dress (if that indeed is what it is) and my boy twin to have the the Mighty Acorn t??

Laura Ann - June 22, 2010 - 7:39 pm

Oh, one more thing….the donations that are going to be made…are you going to open that up to all of us? I certainly would not mind donating to help with the MJC foundation and I others would like to help too. You always give, give and give some more, so the least I can do is give back! Let me know if you have any plans for this in the future, I would love to contribute.

Laura Ann - June 22, 2010 - 7:37 pm

Everything looks amazing and no doubt in my mind you and your girls will get it ALL done and it will be BETTER than before! Everything looks so beautiful, just wish I could get my hands on a piece or two for our little upcoming beach vacation. How about a little contest for those of us sitting at home coveting all of those precious little MJ outfits… maybe it could be for the person that, hmmmm…ME! Hoping that everyone has safe travels as they set out to 435 in the next couple of days.

TiaJ - June 22, 2010 - 7:34 pm

My heart is breaking! I cannot believe I cannot come again this year! I am RSVPing for next year now! Please, please, please sell some of these pieces online!

Oldie but Goodies

Kinda funny the sky looked pretty much the same when I got to work in the early morning as it did when I just left. No, I wasn’t there all day. I came home and enjoyed the beautiful day. David took the boys to Toy Story so I went back in tonite. I got a lot done though. And still a ton more. Here’s what we are looking like right now. Tomorrow it’ll be a lot better, I hope.

Remember, the Art Fair takes place in our warehouse…so it’s not all glamorous.  But those of you who came last year know that we do a pretty good job of making it look nice.  And here’s my fave pants of them all….love these. They are an oldie but goodie.

Jennifer Heidl-Knobloch - June 23, 2010 - 2:22 pm

Janella - June 22, 2010 - 9:40 am

I love the PaperPoms you have hanging all over the warehouse, just saw them on Etsy the other day. I like so many others that can’t make it am crossing my fingers that you might have an Online ArtFair. Hope everyone has much FUN!!

momofapipsqueak - June 21, 2010 - 6:24 pm

Beautiful and how much fun! I need to start planning so maybe I can make it next year. I do have a friend who is going and said she’ld pick up a thing or two for me (yes I’ll owe her a few:) Is the pdf form to put payment info on file for you available? I am not sure if I missed it? Thanks so much.

Monika - June 21, 2010 - 2:03 pm

Renee - June 20, 2010 - 8:13 pm

christine - June 20, 2010 - 1:46 pm

ooooooo aaaaaaaaaaaa! It’s a beauty Denise! Everything looks so good:) Love the bike on top of the table with the flower basket.
Oh and is that a sky blue skirt with red? That looks lovely!!!!

Holly's Mama - June 19, 2010 - 10:09 pm

Our family went to see Toy Story 3 tonight. We all loved it. Even my teenage boy. Oh, and Holly wore Matilda Jane of course to the movie theater. 🙂 You should have went to see the movie with your family! Love all the Art Fair stuff. I really wish I could go…

Beautifulclothing - June 19, 2010 - 8:37 pm

I cant really see those pants. Love the colors and patterns. If you can not make it to 435 is there any way to purchase any of the clothing made for the art fair? Online are fair maybe? A girl can wish!!!!!

Shannon Willcutt - June 19, 2010 - 8:21 pm

I want those pants!!! Love, love, love them!!! I’m going to be at the beach during 435…if there are any left, I’ll take them!!!

WhitleyKate's mom - June 19, 2010 - 8:04 pm

I’m amazed at how much the buildings in the first pic look like a part of our town! I so want to come to 435…maybe the Indians game will be rescheduled? LOL

Laura Ann - June 19, 2010 - 7:34 pm

Honestly, it looks better than a CANDY STORE! All those bright piles of colors and sweet patterns will make any girl wish she could be at 435. I have a feeling that you could pile it up in the middle of the floor and you would still have a bunch of Happy Mommies diving in to find the perfect pieces. That is the great thing about having such a wonderful treasure, everyone wants it no matter how they have to get their hands on it. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

jenn - June 19, 2010 - 7:23 pm
