Too many too list

I thought about it all night. Why the heck do I ask such tricky questions that I myself cannot answer. I figured it out with one comment left byย  the Lucky Little Lady when she said “Iโ€™m sure you have a lot of favorites. But one of your most favorite, must be hearing about the joy YOU give a little girl and her family by them getting a totally unexpected package in the mail when everything else in the world is going wrong for them.”

That pretty much sums it up. My favorite thing is to see one genuinely happy.

I love the way Joe sparkles when he is happy,ย  the way the girls at 435 get that little smile when they get a thank you note from a customer, that little dance Gabe does when he is supper giddy, the huge smile on the the girls face at McDonalds just because I comment on her eyeshadow, the little kids in carpool when they show me their shown n’tell, my friend Renee anytime we see each other…there is too many things to list. So In short, I will say my favorite thing is when someone is happy.

And now I get to make these folks happy: Lucky Little Lady, Silly Dancer, Power Puff Mom, My little Carolina Girl, Lavri, Katie M, Erina, and Amy Ence.

Just shoot Sam an email, with your name, size and address and we’ll get you one of my very favorite things in the mail late next week. PS be sure to use subject FAVORITE.

And thank you to the fabulous Jenni Helmuth for the great photos.

…I’m thinking about the next contest to kick off Hamond Bay..

UPDATE: I just realized when I looked in the mirror I had the necklace on that Lynette have me at Conference. I was having a hard time and she bought me this necklace with aย  little bird and said it was a little pieces of happiness. Love that girl.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

April W. - February 13, 2010 - 7:58 pm

Aww! That quote from Lucky Little Lady stood out to me too.
It’s so true. Pure happiness in ones face. Going that extra mile for someone.
I thought about a quote today ( going through my own personal stuff)
” Do unto others as you would have others do unto you”

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone thought that way?

Thank you so much for spreading some joy and love around. The cutest clothes I have come in contact with.
And…even though most of us don’t win anything from your contests… it’s fun to know that there is a winner out there…with a baby girl who will have a huge smile on her face! ๐Ÿ˜€

Sophia's mom - February 13, 2010 - 11:29 am

Maybe we could have a Valentine’s related contest in which we nominate someone else…..someone very deserving of a little Matilda Jane JOY….JOY in the form of a package all nicely wrapped up to make someone else’s day. I know that was totally a run on sentence….you get my point though:)

Mary R. - February 13, 2010 - 10:56 am

Love those pix!

Beautifulclothing - February 13, 2010 - 10:45 am

I just realized that not just trunk keepers can enter this contest. Every piece of the Matilda Jane line is beautiful. I love reading your blog everyday. I would love to win some beautiful clothing for my little girl. She gets so many comments every time she wears Matilda Jane. Please keep me in mine Denise. Your clothing is beautiful!!!

Laura Ann - February 13, 2010 - 10:22 am

To the entire MJCREW…you have all outdone yourselves, once again. Hammond Bay is amazing and it makes me want to walk around listening/singing a little Jimmy Buffett all day for some reason. It is so bright, so cheery, so girly and oh so FUN.

If I had a wish…it would be for every little girl to be able to experience the JOY of wearing a piece of MJ for once in their life.

Denise, you have captured us with your talent, your kindness and your selflessness. Thank you is not enough, but please know that we appreciate and cherish your hard work everytime we put it on.

Happy Valentines to you and the crew!

Sophia's mom - February 13, 2010 - 10:12 am

Thank you Denise for sharing you awesome talents with us through Matilda Jane….also, thank you for these sweet contests. It is so nice to get a little unexpected happy in the mail. Christine - February 13, 2010 - 8:35 am

We don’t just love the clothes but we love you too! When I tell people, the generous things you do. It’s like a give back cycle.
PS…this has been my biggest “wishlist” and every time you add another picture. I want more.
I have to tell you my husband told me, he was so proud of me. Why because I was selling things on craigslist, halfbooks, etc. So I could pay for my MJ addiction myself ๐Ÿ™‚ Then told me he wishes I had the same drive to pay off my credit cards. (makes me smile)

Michelle Huesgen - February 13, 2010 - 8:14 am

Thank you for all the “happy” you put in the world!! You’re creative mind makes the world a happier place for sure! Miss you!

And my Favorite?

Well, it seems all you gals (and guys) have pretty similar taste. I have so many favorites.

My favorites today are Wizards of Waverly Place, that I actually got Joe his Valentines delivered on time for his party, my friend Ali for that super cute post about me on her blog ( those were MY wisdom teeth), our little kitten Sam, the Miller House, McDonalds Diet Coke, my Mighty Acorn sweatshirt, the MJC girls, my job, the new pics of Hammond Bay and Sam’s Platinum re-do, and the list goes on and on. Oh, and the womb chair and Room and Board, and DWR and the Barbershop painting. And I cannot forget Gabe asking me last night if when I was a baby was I a boy or girl baby?

Lots of favorite things.

And this is how the Lovely Bird started out many months ago. Funny.

So tonite you get to guess what MY favorite is. My favorite what? My favorite anything…I’ll pick some winners tomorrow evening to get my favorite…? And sorry I can’t afford to get you all a womb chair, let alone myself…someday, maybe!

I am pleased to say that smalltownjenny, Jeremiah, Darlene Birchfield, cavaliere cuties, and dot+3 will be getting their favorites. Please sen an email to Sam, and tell her your favorite outfit and she’ll hook you up next week. Be sure to include your name, mailing address and size.

And thanks for all the comments. They were so fun to read, it was really exciting watching them all come in. I’ve missed you guys.

Michelle Huesgen - February 13, 2010 - 8:15 am

Katie M- this weeks birthday girl! - February 13, 2010 - 1:36 am

My sweet hubby turns the big 3-0 today (the 13th) and I turn 29 on Thursday- believe it or not we were delivered by the same doctor- we joke that he had our baby pictures on a board in his office side by side- that we were just meant to be together! Kevin is my favorite and I am sure David is your favorite too!
We are heading to Disneyland on Sunday- yet another one of my favorites- how about you? I love the sights and sounds- the sheer joy and thrill of being there- you should see my kids when we go- its Pure Love ๐Ÿ˜‰
Hoping Hoping Hoping for a win this week- all my alotted funds look to be going towards buying things for Miss Molly- but this aging mama could really use a new skirt (one that with any luck- will house a growing belly at some point this year!!!)

Jessica T - February 13, 2010 - 12:51 am

Katie M - February 13, 2010 - 12:39 am

lol- so I guess your McD drink of choice has changed over the years- from orange soda (which will always remind me of summer bbq’s and the beach) to dtcoke- guess a girl has to watch her sugar intake (and the freshman 15 that never seem to fully go away;)
that was a fun blog to read about you- does that mean you were the original Sunway diet guru LOL

Just checking in after watching the Olympics. Did you know that watching the Olympics reminded me of you, because I met a dear friend from Switzerland because of you/MJC? Making friends must be your favorite. After all that’s been said, I think it’s safe to say your favorite is LIFE as you know it… all these little, yet profound things that make it so lovely. Night. xoxo

silly dancer - February 12, 2010 - 10:29 pm

I’m gonna be deep, I’m just in that mood tonight. When my grandfather/best bud passed I got some really wise words from a lady from my church. She hugged me and said “don’t worry you will never forget his smell, the way he looked, or the way it felt to hold his hand.” She told me she lost her grandfather 35 years ago and she could still remember all those things. This is one of my favorites and I hope it can become one of your favorites too. The power of the memories, its true I can close my eyes and see his huge hand holding my little girl hand, every detail of his hand is still in my memories. …and to close my eyes and smell, wow it gives me chills.
Memories are a good favorite!

Sara S. - February 12, 2010 - 10:10 pm

Since my wife has me looking at your new line of clothing, I think your clothing is very “hip” and “groovy” compared to the traditional smocked, monogrammed matching outfits we have in the South. Our little girl gets wonderful comments about the way she is dressed in Matilda Jane. After looking at this new line of clothing, the children photographed were laughing, carefree and happy on the beach. I believe your favorite place is the beach too!

I am a mommy of two and one of my favorite feelings is the way my daughters hands feels in mine. I love holding their hands when we walk. One on each side. Since you are a mama too, I thought a favorite feeling of yours might be one of your sons hands in yours.

MCT3Mommy - February 12, 2010 - 11:43 am

A quiet dinner and evening at home with your hubby…. at least that would be one of my favorite (most desired) things.

Taylan's mommy - February 12, 2010 - 11:42 am

I would guess sketching new clothes and playing with fun new fabrics! Being able to just create and have fun with new creative combinations!

Russ - February 12, 2010 - 11:29 am

Your favorite thing is to make irresistible clothes for little girls that my wife just has to buy for our daughter!

Monika - February 12, 2010 - 11:26 am

Erina wanted to play, but didn’t have time to enter before school ;-). She said your favorite things are buttons, pretty notebooks, the little blue bird, the sweet police and giving surprises.

Rachel L - February 12, 2010 - 11:15 am

Hey, Look~ I’m really great on computers, too :o). Sorry for the double entry, typos and all! Yikes!!!

luckyduck - February 12, 2010 - 11:11 am

I think your favorite should be a day (or many days) when you don’t have to deal with the dramas of running a business. A day when you can just sit back and enjoy the pure simplicity of the joy and bliss that we feel when we open one of your packages. It’s the same giddiness that I felt when I saw Taylor Lautner with his shirt off in New Moon. (or even better, when he finally turned 18 yesterday, so I could wipe away the guilt for lusting after someone so young)

Cremdelacrem - February 12, 2010 - 11:10 am

Obviously one of your favorites is the CLAUDIA CARDIGAN, at least I think that was it’s name. The one that is still on your homepage, as well as on your blog roll picture along with the new stuff. I think this is one of my favorites, my little girl is just not quite big enough to wear the 2 yet, I can’t wait till she can!

amy S. - February 12, 2010 - 11:05 am

I’m going to say Zac Efron! Are we to old for him to be our favorite..bc he is way too cute, to be x’d off the list!! LOL!

carla smith - February 12, 2010 - 10:51 am

denise i think your favorite thing to do is sharing the love among your family, friends, and fans of mjc. through all the craze in the past few weeks you made time for your sweet boys, david, your gram, hockey games, hammond bay, and making a lovely sweet gift for my daughters that will be cherished forever. if your favorite thing wasnt sharing the love these accomplishments would not have been possible, thank you:) now for a fun note i think your favorite decade was the 80’s with pegged jeans, neon paintsplashes, duran duran, mtv, and hanging with your girls. i love the throwbacks you use like the legwarmers in past seasons and now layla lace…..well that dress would make madonna proud!

BeccaBoo - February 12, 2010 - 10:41 am

My favs right now are spaghetti, diet coke, funny valentines, sunshine and of course MJC.

Precious Pixie Bell - February 12, 2010 - 10:18 am

Your love of Diet Coke (McDonalds) cracks me up. My sister and I have always said the same thing, but we have never shared the thought because it sounds so crazy that it could taste “different”…they must have some sneaky way of administering the Carbonation to the syrup that sets them apart.

As for your favorites you have many, but without picking just one concrete one I would say one of your favorites is SHARING (sharing passions, sharing your artistic expression, sharing gifts, sharing stories, sharing life).

WildWest'sMom - February 12, 2010 - 10:17 am

We all know how much you love all of the men in your life and your McyD’s Diet Coke…So I am going with the less obvious…THE BREADBOX!!!! Hi, Miss Denise! From the last time we chatted, I think some of your favorite things are Star Wars (especially those Ewoks with the funny noises they make), smelly swatch watches, the Mackinaw Bridge, and saying cool things like OURAQT!!!!!!!!!!! I love it when you tell me about things you like when you were my age. I think one of your favorite things is being friends with people and being unselfish and very nice. I also think you love all the pretty fabric scraps… I love them too. I love MJC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Kassidy p.s. I know you love your camera-I want to be as good as you and my mom someday.

I have a 15% off coupon from there for my Birthday waiting to be used, and I got it in the mail right after I complained to my husband that, that is the only store that never has coupons.

amyence - February 12, 2010 - 9:56 am

COLOR – in all its entirety. Moments in time that catch you by surprise because of their beauty and simplicity and I think one of your very favorite things is service – serving others in unexpected ways and loving to see and or experience their joy! I would just have to say that your favorite thing is everything about your life. ๐Ÿ™‚ That you get to create and express yourself at a job you love, work with your husband and many gorgeous and talented ladies, come home to play with your amazing boys and do it all again the next day.

Oh, and all of Hammond Bay too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Character on Lost: Sayid? Cocktail: Captain and Diet Coke?

jen w. - February 11, 2010 - 9:51 pm

I love Diet Coke too and all we eat is organic, whole-from scratch-everything! =) My favorite moment would be reading all the comments on how everyone *LOVED* the things I created and that feeling of when you accomplished something successfully and can reap the rewards of making others happy, only to tomorrow go back and work on the next thing. That is what I love, maybe you do too! I didn’t read all the comments yet… not sure if anyone else said that too. I don’t think you can give that away… although if someone had some MJ clothing to put on their daughter, they would experience that feeling just a bit! =) Maybe it’s the Lovely Bird Dress you featured here and seeing a little girl enjoying it, all part of the accomplishment.

dot+3 - February 11, 2010 - 9:48 pm

Right after everyone else is asleep or right before they all wake up… Laying in bed thinking about how lucky you are to have so many favs… To have an unbelievable family, a warm home, a job you’re passionate about… Wait, maybe that’s me?!?

Target and Diet Coke. Don’t you love driving your cart down the aisles while sipping a McD diet coke!

LQQME2 - February 11, 2010 - 9:41 pm

Maybe it’s one of those moments in your daily life where you say “pinch me, is my life for real?” You have GOT to have moments like that!

Diane - February 11, 2010 - 9:39 pm

Your favorite thing is that moment of pure satisfaction and joy you feel when you know you have just created/sketched/dreamed up a piece that you know a little girl will love, that is completely charming and a total winner…that little solitary moment of pride within yourself. ๐Ÿ™‚

Kelli in Texas - February 11, 2010 - 9:31 pm

You have so many favorites, many the same as mine. But, as a mom, I would guess that your very favorite thing is when your adorable boys smile at you real big and say, “I love you, you’re the best mom in the whole wide world!” It always works on me! LOL! BTW, LOVE the Hammond Bay Collection!!!

Mommy and her purple crayon - February 11, 2010 - 9:27 pm

Diet coke must be a favorite drink…of course I remember that because I live in a world of mommies who would not DARE drink Diet Coke (because of the additives, etc.) so when I go to the park…I hide it as I feed my children organic apples.

Kellie C. - February 11, 2010 - 9:26 pm

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say your favorite reptile is a lizard…I mean someone has to guess something out of the ordinary right?

*Twinkle*Toes* - February 11, 2010 - 9:24 pm

Diet COKE =)

Heather - February 11, 2010 - 9:23 pm

Could it be your broken camera that you haven’t replaced yet? Maybe you just can’t bare to see another take its place :)…because it’s your favorite.

Amy Hatcher - February 11, 2010 - 9:21 pm

After following your blog for quite a while, I would have to say some of your favorites are: diet coke from McDonalds, Oreos, Your memories of Goliath, the Barber shop painting you still long for, Your beautiful mighty acorns who smile so beautifully that you wish would never grow older, your wish list from Room and Board, your love for photography, suitcases, Target, probably that new fall line you are working on. You have so many favorite things, I could never list them all. I am just glad you choose us to share them with.

Art Fairs, your iphone, and photography. These are three things we have incommon, well those and MJC ๐Ÿ™‚

Ashley S. - February 11, 2010 - 9:13 pm

Denise, I bet your favorite season is Spring. You are so bright, so colorful, and so darn hopeful. To me those things all encompass Spring. I myself am a Fall lover, but only because I love the smell wood fires, dropping leaves, and cooler air…and I really hate long, hot summers :).

Sally Escuin - February 11, 2010 - 9:01 pm

Ummm, Sara Brown! Thanks for making my day with your fun posts.

Tamara - February 11, 2010 - 8:59 pm

Well, the first thing that popped into my head was “diet coke.” But it looks like I’m not the only one who thinks that’s your fav. drink. ๐Ÿ™‚

I missed posting last night but I wanted to share that my fav HB outfit is for sure the Wendy Tiered Dress and I’m going to try it with the Perry Big Ruffles. I’m loving so much that it’s really hard to narrow down what I want this season!

Your boys–including David ;), McDonalds Diet Coke, Photography, and Relax Riesling ๐Ÿ™‚

Jenn - February 11, 2010 - 8:47 pm

Your favorite…color? Hmmm…floral? Is that a color? I remember having to interview my Mom when I was in elementary school and one of the questions was “what is her favorite color?” My mom answered, “plaid”. And I was SO upset because she was “cheating” and she wouldn’t pick just one color. I eventually wrote down “plaid” and my teacher just laughed. I think yours is “granny florals”…LOVE THAT. Nothing better than a floral that looks like it was once a pair of bedroom curtains in my opinion!!!

JackieF - February 11, 2010 - 8:46 pm

Aside from Laker Hockey, of course, you love Sara Brown, Capt’n Morgans, The Smoker Painting (that will never fit anywhere you currently live), antique suitcases, and cahdy. Aside from material things, you love to make everyone around you happy, and strive for nothing less! You truly are one of the most unselfish persons I’ve ever met, even though you probably do not remember me! ๐Ÿ™‚

Lesli - February 11, 2010 - 8:37 pm

Wow, I am not sure I know you well enough to guess your favorites.. so with that being said, I will guess that your favorite things are being a mother to two wonderful boys and having a diet coke every once in a while is not so bad either!

I’m going to say that your favorite “thing” is that little BLUE BIRD OF HAPPINESS that I believe you once said was sitting in your kitchen window….wait, maybe I made that up???

Michelle L - February 11, 2010 - 8:31 pm

My guess? Let’s see family is always #1 and your dedicated and loyal fans! Fingers crossed ๐Ÿ™‚

I would have to say that watching the kids as they sleep in peaceful dreams would be most mom’s favorite. (no matter how long it took to get them to bed :))

Schoolcraft Girlies - February 11, 2010 - 8:17 pm

Driving up north to the U.P. for a Lakers game with your boys. Of course, you would be sipping on your Diet Coke sight seeing through all of the cute little towns(including Schoolcraft) along the way!

I forgot to add one of your favorites! I think Diet coke, coffee from McDonald’s and, besides MJ, Paper Lili shirts.

Jessica Jackson - February 11, 2010 - 8:14 pm

Well, I am just a complete stranger to you…but I love your designs and your clothes…and I’ve been keeping up with your blog for a couple of months now. But being a stranger makes it difficult to take a stab at guessing your favorite thing…however, being a mother is a universal understanding. I am going to guess that one of your favorite parts of life is being a mother. Above and beyond everything else…even diet coke at Mickey D’s! Have a great night!

Jennifer M - February 11, 2010 - 8:14 pm

I totally get delivering the valentines on time!!! I sat in the parking lot of Walgreens addressing my daughters 25 min before preschool today! We’ve been snowed in and I hadn’t been to store to get them!!!

Favorites, hmmm…I’m certain Diet Coke from McDonald’s is somewhere on that list. I read/ heard somewhere that Mcd has a patent on their syrup/ carbonated water ratio and that the diameter of their straws optimize the mixture somehow. Anyways, I digress but I thought you would find the fun fact-ish comment. Don’t you love when there is someone out there says something so silly you giggle and think to yourself, “Wow, I’m not the only one without a filter!”.

I’m sitting here pondering… I’m thinking your favorite “everyone can afford store” has to be Target – who doesn’t love Target!?! McDonald’s… for sure – believe me it is SO my favorite fast-food, only for the fries and the diet coke though. From Hammond Bay… well, obviously you like it all or you wouldn’t have put it thru production, BUT when I see the Betsy Bubble… to me it just screams you! Know that if I could squeeze my 3 year old in that sweet little thing I would – I think that is one of your favorites!?! Oh!!! Creating things.

How many am I supposed to list?

Tammy - February 11, 2010 - 6:53 pm

Diana - February 12, 2010 - 2:56 pm

There are SO many gorgeous pieces in “Hammond Bay” that it’s hard to choose. But my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES are the “Dance Yourself Silly” tank with the Raven skirt and the Layla lace dress. Both outfits made me SWOON! Fingers crossed…

AlliesMom - February 12, 2010 - 9:08 am

Carollynn - February 11, 2010 - 6:22 pm

I love seeing my little Sophia grow up in Matilda Jane! Your clothing line is beautiful, where do you come up with these ideas?!?! LOVE IT!!! If I had to choose an outfit, it would be the mossy willow cardigan, the Wendy dress and the Kimmee pants! Those pants are so darn cute and comfortable!! Renee - February 11, 2010 - 5:31 pm

My wish list might total $14,844.00 too. Seriously. But the Boyfriend Cardigan, Hello Shortie & Raven Skirt would be the first to go in the basket on my way to that $14,844.00.

juneybeans - February 11, 2010 - 5:19 pm

I gotta have the cookie tank & Raven skirt!!!!

Klaire's Mommy - February 11, 2010 - 4:50 pm

Denise-You outdid yourself with Hammond Bay. The designs are so creative and artsy. But what else could one expect from an artist like yourself. Other designers designs seem to be boring. I need the UNPREDICTABLENESS of MJC to satisfy my brain. My little girl would look gorgeous in the raven, dance yourself silly tank, and hello shortie shorts. She loves to dance and twirl in her pettiskirt. When I put it on her, her face lights up and you can just tell she feels beautiful. I’m sure the RAVEN has the same TWIRL FACTOR and will have the same effect on her. Hope you and your family are doing better and have a HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY.

Jamie W - February 11, 2010 - 4:45 pm

My favorite Matilda Jane outfit is one I saw on your blog… but I can’t find the top on your website. It is from a post on January 24. The Hello Shortie shorts and the cutest little top with bright blue with white polka dots! It fits my little girl’s personality perfectly.

Going to my first trunk show on Monday in Birmingham, AL. Yay!

BabyOntheWay:) - February 11, 2010 - 4:44 pm

Mary Elizabeth Pounders - February 11, 2010 - 4:05 pm

My VERY sassy 3 yr old loves MJC! we were shopping the new Hammond Bay Line and she said “Mommy, lets name my baby sister Matilda Jane” (she does not have a baby sister, or the hope of one anytime soon) hmmm……not a bad idea….

I can’t wait to see the line in person!

susie reed - February 11, 2010 - 1:53 pm

My favorites for our older little granddaughter is the boyfriend cardigan and raven skirt, and for the youngest one, we like the hello shortie and the cookie tank top. Thanks Denise for letting us have a little fun. It’s all just beautiful.

Donna Weninger - February 11, 2010 - 1:53 pm

Well one of my twins is named WILLOW so I natuarally love the Mossy Willow. (and I’m hoping she’ll wear it in green because she wasn’t digging the cocoa version from this fall even though her mama was! as an aside, how do 2 year olds get so opiniated?!) Paired with the Daphnie Stew Ruffles and the Cookie Tank I think she would be the talk of the town!

Love the simple pictures paired with the artsy pictures – fantastic!!

LAM - February 11, 2010 - 1:50 pm

Love the new Platinum stuff, but is the runway ellie a dress or a top? It looks like a top but is in the dress section and is the price of a dress. Thanks!

Karin - February 11, 2010 - 1:43 pm

My favorite piece in this collection would have to be the “Hello Shortie” shorts. Not only do I personally *LOVE* them, but I know my picky six year old will be over the moon excited to wear them. She is just starting to assert her clothing-independence and the frilly skirts seem to be out of favor for her right now. I would be crying in my tea, but you guys came out with these super cute shorts which are a darling alternative. Thanks for that. ๐Ÿ™‚

Candice H. - February 11, 2010 - 1:32 pm

My favorite outfit for my munchkin is the Wendy Dress and Happy Leggings. In fact, I would be oh so happy to win them. We are leaving for vacation on Sat. for a week and won’t be here when they go on sale. I would love to not have to worry they are sold out before I could get my hands on them!

Tara Hayes - February 11, 2010 - 1:26 pm

My favorite is the Cookie Tank Top with the Boyfriend Cardigan and the Oh Molly Skirt.

Everything is so pretty it was hard to choose!

Becky - February 11, 2010 - 1:13 pm

My favoite is the Lovely Bird Tank dress, Lavish Tee & Argyle knee socks. I love the blue & periwinkle stripes! My sweet Lauren’s blue eyes will certainly ‘pop’ when wearing this dress! The Argyle knee socks add a preppy touch – I love it!

Amber - February 11, 2010 - 1:06 pm

I LOVE everything, this line is my FAV!!!! I woudl be happy with what ever came our way ๐Ÿ˜‰

Tonya - February 11, 2010 - 1:04 pm

Love the silly outfit! Raven skirt is so cute and that tank! Pure yumminess!

Two Acorns - February 11, 2010 - 1:03 pm

My wish list doesn’t have some of my favorites since they don’t come in size 12 but I must have the Tween Perry Big Ruffle and Tween Dance Silly for my 8 year old (she is 5 ft tall, have to order 12). And even though it is not on the website, I must have the Mighty Acorn for my three year old acorn!

Vicki - February 11, 2010 - 12:59 pm

I love those photos – so cute! I think the mossy willow with a dance yourself silly tanks and Daphnie stew ruffles would make my 5 year old the most stylish Kindegardner in her class!

Wendy S - February 11, 2010 - 12:58 pm

My favorite outfit? Why, the WENDY dress of course! She has a very fine name! ๐Ÿ˜‰ The Happy leggings are a perfect match! The new line looks fabulous in pictures, but I can’t wait to see it all in person.

Kate - February 11, 2010 - 12:50 pm

When we walk into Cindy’s open house, Josephine will go to that Raven skirt like a bee to a hive. Fabulous!

Neva - February 11, 2010 - 12:45 pm

I think the cutest outfit would be the Hammond Bay Tee with the Perry Big Ruffles and the Mossy Willow. But I love all of the collection!

Jenn McGee - February 11, 2010 - 12:36 pm

The raven skirt + dance yourself silly shirt. PERFECT for my daughter! jenn

Kendra Martin - February 11, 2010 - 12:35 pm

Oh my!!! Another amazing line! Love it all, but if I had to pick my favorite, it would be the Wendy tiered dress, with the happy leggings…..LOVE IT!! Here we go!!! Another FULL line in Rhen’s closet!!! I’m addicted to MJC!!!

Tanya T. - February 11, 2010 - 12:31 pm

I am in love with the Dance Silly tank!!! My girls love to do just that!!! They twirl and dance and giggle and fall down and get up and do it all over again!!!!

CAM - February 11, 2010 - 12:29 pm

Oh and I REALLY REALLY wish you would consider making the Kimmie Straightees in size 10 and 12 as well as 8. My oldest daughter LOVES them but she definitely can’t squeeze into an 8! ๐Ÿ™‚ THANK YOU!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

CAM - February 11, 2010 - 12:23 pm

HOLY GUACAMOLE! It’s all too stinking cute! Wow…how to choose just one? Going with my first “gasp”, I guess it would be the Pearl Lap Dress with the Skye Knot top and the Marine Straightees. I am going to send this before I change my mind…..again! ๐Ÿ™‚

Loree Sumner - February 11, 2010 - 12:21 pm

I love the green retro dress on the Lyra Lyra site. I didn’t see it listed yet on the website. I am in LOVE!! I will pair it with a yellow sweater, flip flops, and a cute headband. You will see it in pictures this summer =) Oh the dress is a green tank style with flowers on it and purple straps on top. LOVE!!!

Michele Reed - February 11, 2010 - 12:19 pm

Pick me! Pick me! Pick me! It’s always so hard for me to pick a favorite – because I love them all!!! But… I would say my favorite this time around is the Raven skirt & cookie tank. Pick me! Pick me! Pick me!

berni - February 11, 2010 - 12:15 pm

What a WONDERFUL collection Denise. I LOVE the vibrant colors and new silhouettes! I do have to say my favorite is the “Wendy” dress with the Hammond Bay hat. It just embodies summer ease and fun. Every season my daugher “picks” an outfit that she wears as often as it is clean and I adore it when she pick an something from MJC. I’m totally rooting for Miss “Wendy” to be THE outfit this season! I’m SO looking forward to my party and the rest of the upcoming releases this season!

AmyH - February 11, 2010 - 12:12 pm

Denise, the colors are so beautiful! I have had fun making outfits! My favorite outfit is the Oh Molly and the Cookie Tank!

Stephanie E. - February 11, 2010 - 12:09 pm

I love love love raven skirt and cookie tank! They are so cute! Gorgeous colors and fabrics as usual.

Katie - February 11, 2010 - 12:08 pm

This spring, I’m going to try and be conservative due to the economy, blah, blah, blah. Problem is I have $376 worth of stuff in my wish list (and I’m knocked up, so most stuff won’t fit me! It’s pretty much all for my daughter). My daughter’s fave is the cookie tank with the raven skirt. I love the sweet linen dress….it will be so pretty for pics on the beach this year!

Mary Ann - February 11, 2010 - 12:07 pm

I love the Layla Lace Dress. It is so delicate and girly. Can’t wait to see this collection in person.

Dee Rasmussen - February 11, 2010 - 11:59 am

Love the Dance Yourself Silly skirt, the Wende tiered dress, and the Happy Leggings. Yep, would love to win these. ๐Ÿ™‚ Compliments on your new line.

Dawn - February 11, 2010 - 11:56 am

Love, Love, Love the DANCE YOURSELF SILLY tank and the Raven Skirt!! I’d dance MYSELF SILLY if we won!!!!

Staci - February 11, 2010 - 11:55 am

I have 3 girls and they love MJ and so does their mom!! I get to dress them like little girls should look at this age and no fights insue!!! My favorite us the pearl and sprite legging…so stinkin cute and looks sweet on all ages!!!! Keep up the fabulous work!

Brandee - February 11, 2010 - 11:48 am

I normally don’t leave a comment on these types of things; however, we don’t have a trunk keeper in my State!! So for my 4 year old I really love the Happy Leggings, Wendy Tiered Dress, the Raven skirt and the Cookie Tank Top!!

monica ansems - February 11, 2010 - 11:39 am

This new line is too die for! My twin girls went crazy when I showed them the pictures! We absolutely LOVE the lovely bird tank dress & hello shorties! Monica

LeAnne - February 11, 2010 - 11:09 am

I love the colors in the new line!!! My 4 year old will only wear “certain styles” and leggings are one of her “things”. I would have to say the Wendy Tiered Dress with the striped sprite leggings are a fav and look just like “her”! Can’t wait to order some things and trying to introduce everyone in this area to your precious works of art!

Katie - February 11, 2010 - 11:09 am

Stayed up past my bedtime Making out my wish list last night…31 items! UH OH Mrs. Wallet…get prepared!!
FAVE? Hmmm…I know everyone else seems to agree – but the RAVEN SKIRT is just MAD LOVE Baby! Will go with almost any graphic tee…but will look superb w/ the Dance Silly Tank of course!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Jessica - February 11, 2010 - 10:57 am

I have always been in love with Matilda Jane. Unfortunately I am usually not able to afford the clothes. I think they are beautiful and definitely worth the money, I just do not have much in the way of disposable income to be able to treat my daughter to them. I have taken advantage of a few of your sales over the years, but I am sad to say that we do not have much in the way of Matilda Jane clothing in her closet. If I had to pick my favorite outfit, and the one I would love to see on my beautiful Olivia, it would be the Wendy Tiered Dress with the Happy Leggings. It is just perfect! Your new collection is unbelievable and I wish you the best of luck!

Nicole - February 11, 2010 - 10:54 am

My absolute favorite is the wonderfully twirly Raven Skirt with the Dance Silly tank! I think I even want to purchase it in all sizes so that my daughter can continue to wear it for the next 5 years or so!

Kyle - February 11, 2010 - 10:51 am

Oh how I love EVERYTHING!!! My favs are the Layla Lace Dress (so unique) and the Cookie Tank with the Perry Big Ruffles!

heidi - February 11, 2010 - 10:48 am

Oh so, so many pretty things! How do you come up with them all? I adore the raven skirt with the sprite leggings, cookie tank and would even throw the mossy willow over that. The colors are gorgeous. Makes me need some sunshine here!

Jenna - February 11, 2010 - 10:46 am

So hard to pick just one outfit because my wish list contains about $500 of HB! I guess my favorite would have to be the Lindy BR with the Sunny Dress and the Hat! LOVE it!!

Frances Owen - February 11, 2010 - 10:44 am

Love love love your Tween Raven Skirt and Tween Cookie Top!! My 9 year old daughter is going to be so excited to see so many pieces in her size. Your twirly skirts are her absolute favorite!! She would wear them EVERYDAY if we had enough of them! Thanks for making larger tween sizes!! You are the best!

Cristy - February 11, 2010 - 10:39 am

I found MJ on Ebay and I must say – I love it!! I’m from PA and we do not have MJ around here. I have a little girl who will be 2 next week and we love the new collection- it makes me more than ready for Spring after having 20+ inches of snow!! Great job!! I love the Skye Knot Top and the Marine Straightee! So adorable and something other than pink for my little one! I’ve added to my wish list now I just need to figure out where and how I can place an order!!

Emily - February 11, 2010 - 10:36 am

Hammond Bay is absolutely amazing! My fav. might be the cookie tank/dance yourself silly skirt…I absolutely LOVE the adult Cher dress too!!!!!!!!!! I want it really bad ๐Ÿ™‚

saoirse's mom - February 11, 2010 - 10:34 am

once again, you have outdone yourself! i didn’t think you could get as cute as gypsy blue and sparkletown, but boy was i wrong! as for my favorite outfit, which we will be getting whether i win or not, is the wendy tiered dress and happy leggings! so cute!

teresa - February 11, 2010 - 10:34 am

It would be much easier to list the things I dont’ like from Hammond Bay! I love it all!!! But I really, really love the Tanna and the Lindey capris! I love the fresh, clean and timeless look of linen. Thanks for adding these to the collection, I can’t wait to see my daughter in them.

Ali - February 11, 2010 - 10:33 am

I love the Wendy Tiered Dress- so many great colors it makes it an easy choice to wear! Add the Sprite leggings and the outfit is the perfect burst of Spring needed for all of this snow! I also love the Lovely Bird Dress- the navy and periwinkle are beautiful! I want to go to the beach now after seeing all the pics from Hammond Bay. Another amazing job by MJC!!

Linda Zammit - February 11, 2010 - 10:29 am

Hey Denise,

I LOVE the Skye Knot Top and the Marine Straightees – just adorable! Your clothes are perfect for my daughter – a bit of feminine mixed with a punch of spunk – just like my girl! One day, when I win the lottery, I going to hire you as our personal stylist, and feed you bon bons and send you off on exotic vacations to keep you happy! Oh yeah, I’m also going to hire a “purse digger”, because I can never find anything it that thing!

Joann E - February 11, 2010 - 10:22 am

**LOVE LOVE the Dance Yourself Silly Tank and the Raven Skirt!!!

MelissaG - February 11, 2010 - 10:14 am

OMG…I just LOVE the new style pictures that you are adding to the site. I adore the pictures of all the cute girls, but the true prints and colors of the clothes are often lost in the “style” of the picture. Having a picture of the clothes on the simple white background showing the true colors is AWESOME!!! I for one am thrilled to see it!!!

As for a favorite outfit…well, it would depend on which of my girls we are talking about. I think for my older daughter who actually turns 4 on Feb. 25th I really love the Wendy Tiered Dress with the Happy Leggins and the Mossy Willow…topped with the Nadia Knit headband…ooo, and I’m thinking it might look cute with the Perry Big Ruffles thrown on under there too so you’d have the Happy Leggings peeking out from under the ruffles. : ) Oh how I love the Mossy Willow. My girls LIVE in their GB Willows!! For my youngest, who is two, I really love the Cookie Tank Top, Raven Skirt, Sprite Leggings and the Mossy Willow…again, topped with the Nadia Knit headband.

Oh, and for mommy, I love the Adult Yoga Pants, Adult Pure Tee, and Adult Blue-Eyed Claudia Cardigan. Of course I love the Adult Natalie skirt, too!!!

Lastly….oooo, another Art Fair…I can’t wait to see the goodies for that, too!!!

Rachelle the Gal - February 11, 2010 - 10:14 am

I love the Wendy Tiered Dress – SOOOO Cute My Fave with the leggings is a must for my Daughters Wardrobe. Way to go Denise!!! This line is a hit. Ofcoarse – I love every line you do – everything is always a little different and better than the last. Thank You.

Janella - February 11, 2010 - 10:14 am

Wow!! Really how do you do it? Your clothing reminds me of black licorice, you either really LOVE it or don’t care for it. LOVE LOVE your clothing!! I adore the Lindey Linen Capris, Pepper knot dress (who doesn’t adore your knot dresses??), Raven skirt and the Simple tee!! I am so happy that you did the flounce sleeves, you must have read my mind!!

Shannon - February 11, 2010 - 10:12 am

I LOVE them all! But, if I had to choose just one, it would be the DYS outfit!

dehrst - February 11, 2010 - 10:09 am

I LOVE the sprite leggings and skye knot top! (in size 12 mo) ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh and for me…. LOVE LOVE LOVE the adult picnic dress!!!

Katrina White - February 11, 2010 - 10:07 am

I’m new to MJC. Came across it by surfing the net. Such beautiful items! You are blessed with such talent! I love the new line, but my fav is the Dance Yourself Silly tank with Raven Skirt. My daughter does not have any MJC yet, but I plan to change that soon!
Huntington, WV

Amie O. - February 11, 2010 - 10:06 am

I am totally in love with the Raven skirt and dance tank. The cutest outfit ever!!!!!

Deanna Phillips - February 11, 2010 - 9:57 am

The boyfriend cardigan is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I’d love that for the 3 year old daughter along with the simple tee and linen capri’s. I’ve recently discovered Matilda Jane and have been searching for the perfect item to buy.

Brandi - February 11, 2010 - 9:57 am

We are new to MJC, recently bought our first outfit and think its the greatest ever! Nobody has anything this cute on around here….but us. I am loving the Cookie tank w/ the Raven skirt and sprite leggings for my little cookie, she will be 1 in March and Im thinking this would be the best birthday party outfit….cant you just imagine the pics w/ her first cake! Love the line, definately gonna find a trunk keeper or book a show.

Deanna - February 11, 2010 - 9:56 am

Hi. I’ve recently discovered your clothing and I’ve been searching for the perfect item to purchase for my 3 year old daughter. I think the boyfriend cardigan is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen..I would love the cardigan along with the simple tee and linen capri’s. thanks!

Suzanne - February 11, 2010 - 9:54 am

I am always interested in what others like. Funny how we all have different taste! My daughter filled her shopping cart for HER only with over $500! My favorite is the lovely bird tank dress with marine straightee pants! I can’t wait to have my daughter’s picture made in that this summer!! Now to find something co-ordinating for my 10 year old….

Melissa Montgomery - February 11, 2010 - 9:47 am

99.9% of the time, my girl’s clothes come first but I am obsessing over the adult cher dress! I love it and the fact that I couldn’t wear it to work is very appealing to me!

Becky - February 11, 2010 - 9:45 am

Howdy! I am totally in love with the Skye knot top and the Linen Capri’s. I really wish the boy ties were ready too! Great job guys!

mi*lolli - February 11, 2010 - 9:33 am

Jessica Merrill - February 11, 2010 - 9:24 am

I am in love with the dance yourself silly outfit! So cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy Craft - February 11, 2010 - 9:19 am

I have to say the Dance Yourself Silly tank and Raven skirt as pictured above!! I LOVE that set and my little girl who LOVES to dance herself silly ๐Ÿ˜‰ would LOVE that set. If you put any type of skirt on her she will twirl and twirl until she falls down laughing. Such cute items!

mb - February 11, 2010 - 9:05 am

i like the lindey linen capri with the tanna dress. i’m hoping that the 2 linens are the same fabric! Does anyone know?

stacifromtexas - February 11, 2010 - 8:58 am

Absolutely love the entire line…but my favorite for my sweet Olivia is the Pepper Knot Dress and the Lace Socks. I love the Cher Dress for myself…dying to have it to wear with Olivia for her 1 year old birthday picture. Thanks for all your hard work keeping me and my daughter dressed so cute.

Laura - February 11, 2010 - 8:50 am

I absolutely LOVE these clothes!!! After having 4 amazing boys, I had my daughter! She loves to twirl and dance and sing for us. She can of course hold her own with the boys and feels right at home playing in the dirt, lol. It is so hard to pick just one outfit. I LOVE the dance yourself silly outfit, the tank top, the raven skirt and who could resist the hello shortie, everything about it is perfect!!! The colors the textures and what girl wouldn’t LOVE twirling around it this awesome outfit!!!!!

Laura Lynn A. - February 11, 2010 - 8:47 am

I must admit that I am VERY new to Matilda Jane, so please forgive me if I make a mistake! We’ve only recently purchased some of our first Matilda Jane pieces, but they are definitely the most treasured and enjoyed of my daughter’s wardrobe. I must also add that Matilda Jane clothing is so easy to care for! Of all the brands in my daughter’s closet, I do not worry when she wears MJ… it washes well, wears well and really is made to very high standards. It truly is designed and made with children in mind and I sincerely appreciate that!

The outfit that would be first on my list from the photos above is the linen capri ruffle pants paired with the striped top/dress. The linen ruffles are absolutely gorgeous and one of those basic staple pieces that could be mixed and matched with anything… they could be dressed up or down easily, which makes them number one in my opinion. Especially considering the fact my little girl enjoys putting her own outfits together! We adore pieces that are timeless and classic in nature and can be simple (easy to put on and take off – simple in construction and look, too) yet also compliment the beautiful little girl who plays in them! And the striped top/dress pictured above is such a lovely mix of pattern and texture and color! Blue and brown is such a pretty color combination ~ and would make my “Ellie-bellie’s” blue eyes just pop!

Thank you for your fun outlook on life. ๐Ÿ™‚

Heidi - February 11, 2010 - 8:45 am

I love the Layla Lace dress with the Sprite leggings! The whole line is adorable.

Michelle - February 11, 2010 - 8:28 am

I just saw a real-life pic of the bay of birds. Hadnt really noticed it on the SKU pics. but WOW, its now a favorite! SO beautiful.

Tammy - February 11, 2010 - 8:24 am

I bought my 1st MJ outfit last month and I am in love!!! I can’t wait to own some more for my sweet girls!
I would have to say right now on my wish list is the big perry ruffles, the cookie tank and mossy willow cardi. They are ALL so adorable!!! Thank you!!

Michelle H. (Lily Kate's mom) - February 11, 2010 - 8:21 am

For me it’s the Raven skirt and cookie tank. That’s the top of my list! My daughter is a total twirler…

Mindy - February 11, 2010 - 8:18 am

The Dance Yourself Silly tank with the raven skirt. My 3 yr old must have it, she does dance herself silly. When a movie ends, the whole family has to get up and dance to the music playing while the credits roll. And yesterday, she wore a Matilda Jane outfit to school (the Molly skirt with the stripped blue leggings) and she would just twirl and twirl everytime someone told her how cute she looked. I actually commented to my husband last night maybe I need to dress her in Matilda Jane skirts all the time, because she was so much happier yesterday morning, didn’t give me fits like she does from time to time:)

gena - February 11, 2010 - 8:15 am

Raven skirt! Lots of twirl appeal ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anne - February 11, 2010 - 8:13 am

I love the Dance Yourself Silly shirt with skirt and leggings! Adorable!!

Melissa M - February 11, 2010 - 8:12 am

I LOVE the Adult Cher Dress! I feel totally selfish in picking an adult outfit, but I would definately have to get the Layla Lace Dress for my 21 month yr/old to go with it, so we could have matching Mommy/Daughter outfits!

DanielleW - February 11, 2010 - 8:10 am

I love the dance yourself silly tank, the raven skirt and those striped leggings – SO cute!!! I can just see Sarah twirling in it now!

Angie K. - February 11, 2010 - 8:00 am

The raven skirt is my favorite…but I really love the whole line!! It will be tough to stick to a budget for this line. ๐Ÿ™‚

Tamara - February 11, 2010 - 7:57 am

OOOHH, so hard to choose. I pick the Layla Lace dress and the happy leggings. Or maybe the adult Cher dress. oh, the decisions.

Alexa - February 11, 2010 - 7:55 am

My favorite Is the dance yourself silly outfit! And I agree with you, I’m so happy sayid is alive from lost!

Amanda Koonce - February 11, 2010 - 7:49 am

First I just want to say I love Hammond Bay, for me my favorite outfit would be the Wendy Tiered Dress with the Perry Big Ruffle. Today is my daughters 2nd birthday and I know she would LOVE LOVE this dress.

Jeremiah - February 11, 2010 - 7:44 am

My wife gave me her wishlist yesterday and I knew I was in serious trouble…so maybe we can win something for our little red-head.
My favorite: Wendy Tiered Dress w/leggings

TanyaLea - February 11, 2010 - 7:40 am

I love the Dance Yourself Silly outfit above…exactly as shown! Especially the skirt and tights/leggings…down right ADORABLE!!! These would be PEFECT in a size 2t on our little Sweetie that we are bringing home from China in a couple of months!!

What an exciting give-away! Thanks for the opportunity to enter! ๐Ÿ™‚

Daphne Tuten - February 11, 2010 - 7:37 am

LOVE the entire line! Can you wrap it all up for my Princess? haha I am definitely going to have to display self-control this season…or recruit grandmothers, aunts, uncles and friends to help get all the items Emily Grace will HAVE to have! ๐Ÿ™‚ So as for what you could wrap up for EG:she is a twirly skirt girl-the raven skirt is awesome! and the DYS tank! also, we are really likin’ the blue lace knee socks!

My girls - February 11, 2010 - 7:36 am

I am loving it ALL! The mommy stuff is fabulous! My personal favs are At the Fair Skirt and lavish tee. For my girls LOVE LOVE the Lindey ruffle linen capris and Tanna linen dress and Raven Skirt and Cookie top and… list goes on and on! ๐Ÿ™‚

Sara - February 11, 2010 - 7:35 am

Where was I all these time?!? I usually check this blog religiously. I guess I was up to my elbows in children’s Valentines and then to de stress I watched Lost. Which in and of itself stresses me out. Can’t wait to find out what the world is going on!! Enough of that! I LOVE the one dress I have seen pictured but not named anywhere. It’s the dress the little girl is wearing in the picture with the bucket hat. Where is that dress!??! I also ADORE the Cher dress. SO GREAT! Absolutely need it for spring.

Pamela - February 11, 2010 - 7:32 am

There are so many great things! I love the name of the collection especially since I am native Michigander and spend time up north. My daughter and I especially love the Raven skirt and the DYS tank…the skirt will have great twirlability for a summer day. ๐Ÿ™‚

Christina - February 11, 2010 - 7:28 am

The Raven Skirt with the Dance Silly Tank and Sprite Leggings are perfection! The look screams Spring is here, laugh, dance, play and look beautiful doing it! Thanks for another amazing collection MJ!

mom2P&B - February 11, 2010 - 7:23 am

I love Sayid too, but I would not be too sure that he is alive….my husband thinks it might be Jacob. That could be why Jacob insisted to Hurley that he bring Sayid to the temple. Oh, I love LOST!! It’s fun trying to figure it out, if that is even possible. ๐Ÿ™‚ And, I do love Matilda Jane! There are so many things that I love. I think my favorite outfit for my girls would have to be the Cookie Tank Top (love the lacy tuxedo look) with the Perry Big Ruffles and finished off with the willow. Such a cute and fresh look! And, both my girls could wear it and be super comfy! I usually focus on my girls, but I do love the blue eyed claudia cardigan!

mama2a&i - February 11, 2010 - 7:13 am

My very fav is the Wendy dress with the happy leggings and the shorties to switch out depending on the weather… I am very excited to see the pieces that are coming in the Deliah print soon, my fav piece ever!

Dana Messer - February 11, 2010 - 6:58 am

No doubt it is the Tween Tanna Linen dress. I LOVE THIS DRESS! I am going to have to order it the first day it becomes a available even though my party isn’t until the 20th, unless you send it to me. lol Let the Matilda Jane MADNESS begin!

Julie - February 11, 2010 - 6:58 am

My favorite outfit is the Adult Lavish Tee and At the Fair Skirt…you were talking about us mommies right??? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Bryna - February 11, 2010 - 6:53 am

How is it even possible to pick a favorite. All that I have done since the new line posted is ponder and ponder about my favorite things! I simply cannot choose. So I’ll tell you my husband’s favorite (he loves our daughter’s Matilda Jane Clothes). He likes the Wendy Tiered Dress…along with the Mossy Willow, Raven Skirt, Cookie Shirt, Boyfriend Cardy… OK you know the stuff is good when even a dude can’t choose!!!

Erin Spencer - February 11, 2010 - 6:48 am

So first of all I love to read the comments but it cracks me up that when theres a contest how many comments build up so quickly that I can never keep up!! So it seems that there is a MJC fairy hanging out who looking to make some ladies very happy out there.

Ok, so although there are many must haves from HB and I know I’m in troble because I cant resist when it comes to dressing my little sweet pea in MJC. My favorite so far is the Wendy Tierd Dress!!! I LOVE it!! Ashley will look soooo cute in it!!! So if the MJC Fairy drops by my house thats my wish for her…wink, wink!!

Carla - February 11, 2010 - 6:47 am

I love Sayid too, but I am worried he is not really Sayid anymore. Oh well, I love the tanna linen dress, wendy tiered dress and pepper knot dress – I guess I am a dress girl when it comes to my daughters.

Ivy Shaffer - February 11, 2010 - 6:36 am

Hi Denise,
Oh I so want to win so my tot has at least one pretty spring outfit! You always out do yourself with MJ designs and I love them all. Hoping the hubby will by me something here too.
If I HAD to chose, love LOVE the Wendy tiered dress and happy leggings. Just looking at them makes me happy:))
Have a delightful day!

mommy dearest - February 11, 2010 - 6:29 am

My little comfort junkie LOVES the Kimmie straightee and the Cookie tank top! Ok, thanks….pick me…pick me…pick me!!!!

Kellie Perry - February 11, 2010 - 6:27 am

Love the butterbee lap dress with the Perry Big Ruffle. I think my girls could wear it day and night it looks so comfy !!

ZoeSophiaMommy - February 11, 2010 - 6:22 am

I have been so excited for this line. Intially with the sneak peeks, I was in LOVE with the Raven Skirt and DYS tank. But when I scrolled to the bottom of the Hammond Bay page and discovered the Wendy Tiered Dress, paired with the Sprite leggings = TRUE LOVE! Great stuff!

Tami - February 11, 2010 - 6:14 am

Absolutely everything!! I can’t wait for my trunk show to show everyone in our little town the cutest clothes ever. If I have to pick, the Cookie Tank, with the Perry Blue Ruffles, and then with the Mossy Willow on top!

Corrie - February 11, 2010 - 6:13 am

i love the cookie tank top, raven skirt and the sprite leggings!!!

Jessica M - February 11, 2010 - 6:11 am

Pick one favorite? How about one for me and one for my daughter??
I love the Adult Cher Dress for me! (of course I want one of everything for me)
and for my sweet girl, the pepper knot dress with the lindy linen br capri….. But of course I would like to add one of each in her size to my cart ๐Ÿ™‚ My daughter gets giddy over MJC! She just loves it when I get on your blog or site so she can “shop”- She is only 4! When the UPS man brings packages she always hopes the MJC sticker is on the box!

This line is just fabulous- another job well done!

Mommy and her purple crayon - February 11, 2010 - 6:09 am

I have a thing for blue stripes…so, the Lovely Bird tank dress, the Wendy tiered is great too, and, of course, my child is never fully dressed without ruffled leggings.

Christine - February 11, 2010 - 6:07 am

Everything is lovely. For once I am glad I don’t have a little one or we may go broke! I love the picnic dress for me but my 14 year old daughter would love the cher dress for her middle school graduation. She has borrowed my Gypsy Blue purchases several times because “everyone loves it but noone has it”!

Cynthia - February 11, 2010 - 5:42 am

OMG…Monika…I laughed so hard at Erina’s comment…”am I allowed to play”. She is so darn cute!

Curlylocks - February 11, 2010 - 5:38 am

I love love love the dance tank and tutu skirt together just my fav…..

Anne - February 11, 2010 - 5:23 am

It is the marine straightee with the lovely bird tank dress, is there a blue eyed cardi for the little ones though? I am dying for that blue! Although….. hmmm…. oh – I think I have at least 3 fav outfits – BUT – the LAVISH TEES – WOW…. Thanks Denise, I thought I was gonna be able to maintain self control this season…. (NOT)

Jennifer - February 11, 2010 - 5:17 am

For me it is definitely the raven skirt with the DYS tank! Loving that Sayid is still alive too!!!

christine - February 11, 2010 - 4:56 am

Oh I have to say, you know I love it all. But the raven skirt, with the bloomer shorts, and the dance stripe tank. the layers….the girliness! Your colors and mix of patterns are amazing this collection. I’m counting the minutes till monday!

rnsy Johnson - February 11, 2010 - 2:12 am

So I would love my wife to have the willow Jacket along with our 2 girls. Can I say I spend a lot on Matilda Jane and I would love for her to win this as a valentines day gift for her. She deserves the best and I know she loves Matilda Jane! She said she is thrilled that you have some big boy shirts for our hockey playing son too! Gavin would be excited as he always complains that the girls “get Matilda Jane” so what does he get? Ha. All my favorite girls LOVE their Matilda Jane. Ava called me on the phone after seeing the collection and said “daddy I want the jacket too”. So help me make some dreams come true.

Amber - February 11, 2010 - 1:18 am

Got my newsletter today and had to hurry over and check out all the outfits – oh my goodness – they are amazing. I LOVE the Raven skirt and the Cookie tank – but everything is beyond amazing…you are a genius!

Mary - February 11, 2010 - 12:58 am

I love the Layla Lace very vintage feel to it, everything is gorgeous though, you couldn’t go wrong no matter what you picked. Congrats to the lucky girls who get picked ๐Ÿ™‚

CarrieP - February 11, 2010 - 12:52 am

Oh, that Wendy Tiered Dress just jumped out and yelled at me, with the Sprite Legging, I think. (You are so right about now being one of the only times when chunky thighs are in, so why not flaunt them in horizontal stripes? And I don’t know if the Boyfriend Cardigan would work with that, but it about makes me pass out with cuteness!

Shannon Willcutt - February 11, 2010 - 12:39 am

VERY hard question…I heart it ALL!! Matilda Jane defintely rocks. I guess I would have to say that my fav-o-rite would be the Pepper Knot Dress because I am absolutely obsessed with knot dresses. But I could go on and on. And I seriously think I had to be the 1st person on the face of the earth to see the collection on the website…was up in the wee hours of the morning (I am a cookie baker/decorator…do it all while my girls sleep…I do it ONLY to support my new Matilda Jane obsession…REALLY!)…though I would check the webiste about 3 a.m. and BAM! There it was!! Oh, and here’s another funny…caught my husband looking at it earlier (he loves his girls dressed in MJ)and taking guesses at what I would order…I do adore him!! So…pick me!!

mary - February 11, 2010 - 12:20 am

I love love love the Cookie tank top and Raven skirt. The whole line is FABULOUS!!!

Anne - February 11, 2010 - 12:06 am

These clothes are just awesome and I’m sure you’ve already heard that a gazillion times but just wanted to another number to your gazillion! ๐Ÿ˜› I love the dress from the Hammond Bay Hat…I can’t locate the dress on your “goods”. I also love the cookie tank top with the raven skirt. My third choice is the Dance Silly tank with the Perry Big Ruffle pants! For the Adults, I love, love, love the Adult Picnic Dress…so tre chic! I love the Adult Mossy Willow too…it would look cute w/ the Big Ruffle Pants in Lindey and Heather Tank top Or Dance Silly Top but not sure if either of them are available for Adults! I think I’ve pretty much covered it.

Anne - February 11, 2010 - 12:03 am

These clothes are just awesome but I know you’ve already heard that…and know it! ๐Ÿ˜› I love the dress from the Hammond Bay Hat…I can’t locate the dress on your goods. I also love the cookie tank top with the raven skirt. My third choice is the Dance Silly tank with the Perry Big Ruffle pants! For the Adults, I love, love, love the Adult Picnic Dress…so tre chic! Renee Hindman - February 10, 2010 - 11:40 pm

I can’t wait for the shows to begin! My favorite is the Raven skirt, cookie tank and boyfriend cardigan!!! My girls are going to photograph well in this line especially the red head!

2teenagersandababy - February 10, 2010 - 11:39 pm

I have booked a show but not until the March release of Collection 2. My problem is figuring out what items are going to be sold out from Collection 1 before my party. I think lots of Mommy’s have the same idea about what will make their little princesses happy. My 2 year old would love the twirly RAVEN SKIRT and the DANCE YOURSELF SILLY TANK with the HELLO SHORTIES. She loves to dance anytime she hears music. She even dances to the music when I log onto the MJC website, that said she is dancing a lot–LOL. We do not have any MJ skirts. This would be a first and it would be a great one to start with.

sashadvm - February 10, 2010 - 11:32 pm

lucy- I believe those are the jessie jeans you are talking about- try posting on facebook first! on the MJ addicts page with a pic-

Debbie M - February 10, 2010 - 11:30 pm

“Yellow Shoes and the little girl in the pic”(Stella) is what my little girl kept repeating. I actually showed some of the pics to my little girl and asked her to see what she liked and she pointed first to the little girl and then in another pic the yellow shoes a different little girl was wearing. Isn’t it funny that as long as she had a new little friend and a pair of yellow shoes that’s all that mattered. Then I asked her though, which clothes do you like best and she says “All of them”. Wonder where she got that from, he he. I say well they are all pretty but we need to just pick a few of the ones you like best. She then says, okay, this one, & this one, & on. Then she asks are there stripes (she loves stripes) and finally selected the lovely bird tank dress with the lavender top (she liked the little girl that was wearing this and says she could match her) and the marine straightees since she said they had the same stripes. Then we okay, I stopped her there.

laura bunker - February 10, 2010 - 11:22 pm

It’s so hard to choose. But, if I could pick just one article of clothing it would be the raven skirt. I just LOVE it. The colors, the texture, everything. Beautiful!

Holly's Mom - February 10, 2010 - 11:16 pm

For my little one, I love the Molly skirt and the Cookie tank. Soooo adorable! You are so very talented. P.S. Sorry if I posted twice. I couldn’t find my first post. I don’t think it went through.

Lisa - February 10, 2010 - 11:10 pm

I love it all, but if I had to choose it would be the Layla Lace Dress. So beautiful!

gina stinnett - February 10, 2010 - 11:03 pm

mj is so urban hippie. so easy to wear and sooo loved by all who gaze. so genius. if i have to pick a fave, the wendy tiered dress with the sprite leggings this spread. naming your “babies” must be fun.

Sari - February 10, 2010 - 11:01 pm

Oh Denise, 1st of all, thank you for the date for 435! We will be there with bells on! ๐Ÿ™‚
Now, I knew I was going to go crazy with this line but OH MY!!! And I LOVE the womens & have 3 girls. . . I am in such big trouble! So pick me!!! I’m not above begging! My favorite outfits. . . that is way too hard but here are my top 3: For ME the Cher Dress but it’s an equal tie between that & the Yoga Pants/Natalie Skirt (will mix & match) & the Pure Tee (with the tie of course!) For my girls: Mia & Gigi (Mia is 6 now, Gigi is 4): Raven Skirt & we’ll funk it up (as I LOVE the Dance Silly & we’ll do that anyway–one for everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚ with the Cookie Tank, Sprite Leggings if we can pull it off & the switch leggings out for the Boyfriend Cardy! For little miss Charlotte (2–same age as my fabulous TK Lauren’s Monroe!)–the Layla Lace, pure & simple! (I’ll do that for Gigi too) but WOW do I love it for Charlotte! Marine Straightees are high on the list with Skye Knot layered over the Simple tee too. See, I told you I couldn’t pick 3! ๐Ÿ™‚ Big trouble!!! I can’t WAIT to see it all in person Friday! THANK YOU for this truly FABULOUS line & I already am SO excited for 435. . . we’re bringing the whole family this year (if Mia will let me break our “tradition” of “big girls only)!

Jessica Corn - February 10, 2010 - 10:57 pm

We must have a “Dance Yourself Silly” outfit, because that is what my 3yo loves to do! Thanks for another beautiful collection! I usually love reading all of the blog posts, but I haven’t seen this week’s LOST yet and I’m scared of spoilers. Love that show!

Shannon H - February 10, 2010 - 10:56 pm

I love alot but am limited to the Tween sizes. So we like the Lovely Bird dress with Marine Straightees and the Lavish tee to take it through the Fall!

Knee Socks Rock! - February 10, 2010 - 10:51 pm

I absolutely ADORE the Pepper Knot Dress with the simple tee and the Beverley Argyle Knee Socks! That outfit would ROCK on my daughter!

Brittany Hall - February 10, 2010 - 10:50 pm

So much to choose from. I would say that my favorite outfit would be the cookie tank top with the boyfriend cardigan over the top, paired with the raven skirt on the bottom. I look how whimsical and flowy the whole collection is ๐Ÿ™‚

christy - February 10, 2010 - 10:48 pm

The Lavish Tee under the Pepper Knot paired with the Lindey Linen BR Capri and the Green Dot Knee Socks peeking out for an extra touch of whimsy.

Then the next day… Dance Yourself Silly Tank with the Raven Skirt and Sprite Leggings; and as you’re running out the door, grab the Hammond Bay hat to keep your hair out of your eyes from all the twirling that will commence.

Tonya - February 10, 2010 - 10:46 pm

Love it all!!! My favorite is the Skye knot top with the pearl lap dress underneath with the sprite leggings. Can’t wait for the party next week!!!!

Becky - February 10, 2010 - 10:42 pm

Oh yes, these are very very nice!

My faves are Raven, Dance Yourself Silly, and the ls white top and stiped legging underneath!
It is all very fun and happy:)

Sara - February 10, 2010 - 10:40 pm

I said it this morning if I could only buy one outfit I would have to have the cookie tank top and the Oh Molly skirt!!! Absolutely the most adorable outfit ever.

Tracy D - February 10, 2010 - 10:38 pm

Definitely the Mossy Willow, Cookie Tank and Perry Big Ruffles. I ADORE the colors together and think they would look adorable on my daughter Savannah. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you so much for being the generously spirited soul that you are. Looking forward to my show Monday with the fabulous Natalie Kukla. ๐Ÿ™‚

Mommyof2Princess1Prince - February 10, 2010 - 10:36 pm

I am IN LOVE with the

Dance Silly Tank
Raven Skirt!

Pink & Green all the way! <3 <3

Thanks Denise for, yet, another BEAUTIFUL collection!

Jennifer Mezines - February 10, 2010 - 10:33 pm

That’s easy! The Raven Skirt…..adorable!! I must have it. Now if only I didn’t need 15 more pieces to go with it!

WeWantItAllThisIsTheBestCollectionYet - February 10, 2010 - 10:27 pm

I just have to have the Boyfriend Cardi, Butterbee Lap ( These are our Favs )and the Lindey for under the Lap for my Baby girl!

We also have got to get matching Willows … I love ours from Gypsy Blue and the Mossy Green is a Fav of mine & A looks great in Green & Pink! Best colors yet!

Diane - February 10, 2010 - 10:26 pm

YOU’VE DONE IT AGAIN! I am hopelessly in love with Hammond Bay. How could I ever choose? Well, twist my arm!

or is it the

I’d be thrilled to have either one. Kudos to your new line!

What little girl wouldn’t be thrilled to have anything!

Lesli - February 10, 2010 - 10:25 pm

omg.. how can you only pick one.. I love EVERYHING.. but ONE of my favorites is the raven skirt with the DYS shirt and sprite leggings.. LOVE IT!! The skirt is gorgeous!! Okay now can I BEG you to pick me…lol.!!!!!

Melanie H. - February 10, 2010 - 10:22 pm

I agree with the masses…it ALL rocks! For my sweet little collector, I think sweet Wendy with her lovely tiers may edge out the flirty Raven by a hair to win my fave vote…I would pair Wendy with the refreshing Marine Straightees & the Simple Tee to complete the outfit!
Love the new Wish List feature, but you need a “select ALL” function! LOL!
LOST was great this week, but I’m soooooo lost! Can’t wait to see how the story unfolds & concludes.

Marci - February 10, 2010 - 10:22 pm

I love the Dance yourself silly…It reminds me of my little girls, they are always dancing and being silly and making me laugh! I love the Wendy tiered dress too!! so many pretty colors!! many many more too..just a couple of my favorites!!

Precious Pixie Bell - February 10, 2010 - 10:11 pm

I’m in love with your definition of preppy! Picking a favorite from this line is close to impossible, but The Cookie Tank and Perry Big Ruffles are too cute to pass up (and where are those red shoes from? they look so great with all the HB)

Christine Walsh - February 10, 2010 - 10:10 pm

Okay, this is how much I have become excited about MJ…should have spent 45 min on elipitical tonight after work, but instead came home, opened my MJ party invite, quickly rushed to laptop to browse hammond bay collection, sank into couch with ice cream (vowing to do 90 min on eliptical tomorrow) and admired the FUN. Oh what I would have done to have these clothes as a girl in the 70’s. I would have loved to twirl in the raven skirt and would have been so excited to show off the cute hello shorties underneath as I twirled faster and faster. And the Layla…makes a girl feel like a princess in lace but still able to run faster than the boys in it. Luv it. Luv it. Can’t wait to see them on my girls.

Katelyn's Mommy - February 10, 2010 - 10:03 pm

Awesome LOST episode. Ditto on Sayid….

One outfit – so hard to pick. The Wendy Tiered Dress may be my favorite though…

Already created my ‘wish list’ on your site. It is my birthday today, so lots of presents picked out for my little girl [better than buying for me!!!]

Melanie - February 10, 2010 - 10:01 pm

I LOVE this line!! I am having a hard time picking my favorite, but I really like the skye knot top with the marine straighties. Which is odd cause I usually love dresses. I think it is because of the ruffle on the bottom of the top. I was excited for the dress pictured with the hat, but did not see it on there. I really hope that will be available soon!! That would be a favorite. Love it all! Great work!! Can’t wait to get Ava her new “tilda janes!”

Kara - February 10, 2010 - 9:50 pm

I am new to Matilda Jane and now that I have discovered you – in trouble =). So creative and fun. I have a little one that just turned 2 and your brand fits her personality well. We love ruffles. My favorites are the linen dress and pants because they are funky with a little traditional so you can take it either way depending on your mood or event. Very versatile! We also love all the funky leggings. Great job!

Julie Beth Fox - February 10, 2010 - 9:46 pm

I love it all!!!! I’ve already made my wishlisht and can’t wait to go to the trunk show next week. ๐Ÿ™‚ My favorite (at this moment) is the Wendy tiered dress and the happy leggings. Love it all!!!

Bettina - February 10, 2010 - 9:43 pm

Favourite outfit – Wendy tiered dress with the Happy leggings !!

Kellie C. - February 10, 2010 - 9:41 pm

I agree it’s totally hard to choose just one favorite! I absolutely love the cookie tank and raven skirt though! Everything is so adorable!

Carri - February 10, 2010 - 9:40 pm

WOW! How to choose just ONE outfit??? There are some many fantastic pieces in this line, it’s fresh, funky and oh so fun! I think I would have to say the pearl lap /skye knot combo is at the top of our list! So many options for bottoms, the sprite leggings, the ruffles, the options are endless and that is what I love about MJC!! Thanks for making it so fun to dress my girls! Btw, we love LOST, can’t believe this is the last season!!!

3princesses and a toad - February 10, 2010 - 9:39 pm

I love the entire collection, but the besty bubble is adorable. Last year my daughter had the overalls and everytime she wore them I smiled. She has super fat legs and I love them. Its the one time in life a gal can have fat legs and show them.

Dawn - February 10, 2010 - 9:38 pm

Ummmm…..yeah, wish list not working out so great for me…just sat here 4ever and wished for like everything! Total= NOT GOOD Lol!! I MUST have the Lovely Bird Tank Dress with the Lavish Tee and Argyle Socks….so sweet, simple, and absolutely refreshing!! LOVE IT ALL ๐Ÿ™‚

Lindsay Yarbrough - February 10, 2010 - 9:37 pm

Oh the littles are rockin’ my world in this post! RAVEN skirt ALL the way! But, the Dance yourself silly tank makes that skirt…. so that outfit is my #1! And, for me…….I MUST have the Natalie skirt! Perfect with gold Havaianas! Yum!!

dot+3 - February 10, 2010 - 9:36 pm

is it possible that my Hammond Bay wishlist rivaled your furniture and lighting list? Answer:YES!

Pepper Knot+lavish tee+lindey linen capris=1st of many HB crushes! Birthday girl daughter’s fav=boyfriend cardi!

Lisa Hamilton - February 10, 2010 - 9:29 pm

Are you kidding…pick ONE fav?? Impossible for an addict. The beauty is in the endless possibilities of outfit options! But if I HAD to, I’d have to say the Cookie Tank with the Willow and the Perry Blue BRs!! The Oh Molly is adorable with the Cookie too. LOVE the Lindy linen Br’s. And the Wendy tiered dress with the Sprite leggings…more must-haves. See…can’t do it!!! LOL! This line is as irresistable as EVER!

New Line = Increase Credit Card Maximum - February 10, 2010 - 9:28 pm

My wife gets a snow day from school and I get hooked into looking at the “New Hammond Bay Line,” which I can’t believe I now know the name of. My wife and I can not agree so I am sending in my favorite for my daughter (who wears nothing but Matilda Jane). I know my daughter would look so cute in the Mossy Willow and Perry Ruffle pants. Thanks…

Tracy D - February 10, 2010 - 9:23 pm

Ok, so I must say HANDS DOWN my favorite outfit is the Mossy Willow, Cookie Tank Top and Perry Big Ruffles for Miss Savannah. She is becoming quite the picky gal, but still loves to match her momma. I’m hoping that you will have the Big Ruffles for the ladies as well as girlies.

Thanks so much Denise for always offering to giveaway items. ๐Ÿ™‚

Laura Williams - February 10, 2010 - 9:17 pm

My favorite is the tanna linen dress- it looks perfect for my 2 year old. She is so natural and earthy-and the natural linen is right up her alley! Its such a pretty little thing ๐Ÿ™‚

pongoandbindi - February 10, 2010 - 9:17 pm

My favorite outfit is the wendy tiered dress and the happy leggings. I can’t wait to see everything in person.

Ginger - February 10, 2010 - 9:15 pm

Oh, it’s gotta be the tanna linen dress with the simple tee…so sweet and stylish.

Leandra - February 10, 2010 - 9:15 pm

I LOVE the raven skirt and the dance silly tank!

Robin Butler - February 10, 2010 - 9:14 pm

I love all your new stuff! I am new to MJC because my daughter is just 10 months old but I think I”m already addicted!!!!! Thanks for making such great kids clothing. My favorite outfit for the spring is the Skye Knot top with the Pearl Lap Dress and those absolutely adorable Sprite Leggings. Keep up the great work!

ForMy2MJGirls - February 10, 2010 - 9:09 pm

We would love the outfit shown under “Hammond Bay Hat.”

Wild about Wendy!!! - February 10, 2010 - 9:08 pm

Ok…not sure if my comment posted earlier….I am in love with every piece in Hammond Bay. But if I had to pick, it would be the Wendy Tiered Dress and Leggings!! GIMME GIMME….I love it!!!!! Sorry if you get this message twice ๐Ÿ™‚

Tori - February 10, 2010 - 9:08 pm

I love the raven skirt and cookie tank!! Riley my 4 year old LOVES the pepper knot and big perry ruffles. Her exact words, “I would be a rock star in that outfit”, LOL!! Love your designs.

Mary K - February 10, 2010 - 9:07 pm

I am a stripes & poke-a-dot girl!!! I absolutely love pink & green together — so to see pink & green, stripes & poke-a-dots and Matilda Jane all in one– there is nothing more adorable!!!! My favorite outfit is Helllo Shortie and the cookie tank top! I can already see my daughter running & playing all summer long in this outfit. Of course, I also LOVE the boyfriend cardigan, sprite leggings, Dance yoursel silly tank and kimmie. My daughter will love all of these as well– as long as they have PINK in them. She will not wear anything unless it is the color pink or has pink on it! Last night she was sorting her fruit snacks by colors and refused to eat the blue and green ones for fear that they are boy colors and she might turn into a boy – she would only eat the pink, purple & red ones. A true girl- who loves her MJC as much as her mom does!!! We can’t wait to place our order………….

Lori - February 10, 2010 - 9:07 pm

I am so obsessed with getting a Hammond Bay key and I keep texting my trunkkeeper about it. She probably thinks I’m nuts. I love the Dance Yourself Silly shirt because that’s what my daughter does all the time – DANCE.

Jackie - February 10, 2010 - 9:07 pm

Everything is so pretty!! I have to say that since the first glimpse of the collection I knew I needed to have the raven skirt and dance tanktop. Perfect for my twirling 3 year old!!

Jeana - February 10, 2010 - 9:06 pm

I just got finished watching LOST – what an addiction I have to that show!!
So, what is on our wishlist… much easier to say what is not on our wishlist. My little girl told me her fav had to be the Raven Skirt (especially when she saw the twirling picture) and the Dance Tank. Thanks for all you ladies do at MJ!!

Tori - February 10, 2010 - 9:05 pm

I love the raven skirt and cookie tank!!! Riley my fashion forward 4 year old LOVES the Pepper knot dress and Perry Big Ruffles! Her exact words “I would be a rock star in that outfit” LOL! You have such great designs!

Chelle Belle / Alchemist - February 10, 2010 - 9:05 pm

Every season we say “this is the best one yet!” It’s true. It just keeps getting better and more creative. Very impressive!

If this contest is only for the little ones, I adore the Wendy Tiered Dress with Happy Leggings (or Perry Ruffles, or anything else) – so fun to mix and match.

If grown ups can play…I am STUNNED by Sam’s outfit (and how truly beautiful she is): the Mossy Willow and Pure Tee (and those grown up ruffles). I can only hope to look so darn gorgeous!

dot+3 - February 10, 2010 - 9:05 pm

Is it possible that my MJ Hammond Bay wishlist rivals your furniture wishlist? Answer: YES!

Pepper Knot + Lavish tee + Lindey Linen BR= My first of many HB crushes!

Oldest daughter’s fav=boyfriend cardi!

Meredith - February 10, 2010 - 9:03 pm

I love the Hello Shortie, Cookie Tank & Kimie Straightee! Trying to find the green striped leggings?

Meredith Olds - February 10, 2010 - 9:03 pm

I love, love, love the Raven Skirt and tank. How cute is this outfit and the endless possibilities of outfits for the future!

toma - February 10, 2010 - 9:00 pm

My favorite outfit is the Bay of Birds tank dress, boyfriend cardigan, and sprite leggings. I think my Gillie would look super cute in it.

Laura Davidson - February 10, 2010 - 9:00 pm

Since I don’t have a little girl of my own (I have a four month old boy, Connor — and I cannot wait to see the adorable ties I’ve heard about! I would love to dress my baby boy in your stuff!), I live out my MJ fantasy by buying things for myself, whenever our budget allows. I am totally in love with the adult Cher dress — it is gorgeous, whimsical, and just exquisite. I adore it! I am still in love with the Charlie dress from last season, too, though. So sweet.

P.S. My husband and I are OBSESSED with LOST, but I’m totally confused about what “reality” is this season. Enjoy!

Rach- Lost and MJC junkie - February 10, 2010 - 8:57 pm

Okay this is TOTALLY unclothing related but I saw that several of you like Lost (like myself) and I am wondering what the rest of you make of the opening to this season. The island underwater? My hubby said the bomb worked so the island fell but if that is true then ar there 3 timelines? THe plane, everyone flipped to the present and then everyone dead underwater? Just wondering what you all thought.

AND on a clothing related topic:

My NEXT favorite (since I already put down the raven and dance combo) is the Wendy dress (8) with the happy leggings (6) and of course a willow would be fabulous with ALL of it. ha ha. ๐Ÿ™‚

dot+3 - February 10, 2010 - 8:56 pm

Is it possible my MJ wishlist rivaled yours? Answer:YES!!

Pepper knot+lavish tee+lindeylinen

susan - February 10, 2010 - 8:54 pm

Gotta have that BF Cardi, my goodness, my daughter has the green cardigan from hotline and wears it with EVERYTHING! So excited to have another one to add to the arsenal. The Cookie tank & Skye knot look like another couple ‘a goodies to go with the….perry big ruffle, marine straightee, kimme straightee, daphne ruffles, the Hello shortie…STOP IT! Oh, and the Lovely Bird Tank (for when her mommy suggests she might want to wear a dress).

Rach- Lost and MJC junkie - February 10, 2010 - 8:52 pm

My favorite? Well I guess I should say my Kylee’s favorite is the Raven skirt (size 6) and the Dance Yourself Silly tank (size 8). It is the ULTIMATE Dancing Queen outfit and I definitely have a dancing queen.

Not like I am going to win since it’s random and 2010 has sucked so far but hey I gotta put in the sizes right?

Robyn - February 10, 2010 - 8:51 pm

I absolutely love the Molly skirt and the Cookie tank! My sweetie is s size 4. I too love Lost. It’s my favorite show and I will miss it when it’s over.

JackieF - February 10, 2010 - 8:50 pm

I love all the different fun ruffles pants! We love ruffles!

JennE - February 10, 2010 - 8:47 pm

My must have outfit is the ETHEL top & DAPHNIE STEW Ruffles! I just love your colors for Hammond Bay – lovely!!!

Jules S - February 10, 2010 - 8:47 pm

Oh my! I love it all!!!! My fave outfit for my daugther is the wendy tiered dress with the mossy willow. My fave outfit for me is the cher dress with the mossy willow.

Wild about Wendy!!! - February 10, 2010 - 8:47 pm

Oh my….it is impossible to pick one outfit when I want ALL of it!!! I think my fav is the Wendy tiered dress with the leggings. That is such a funky and unique piece…..I love everything though. Can’t wait to shop soon!!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

ceemoore - February 10, 2010 - 8:44 pm

My sweet and sassy Mollie needs your sweet and sassy Molly skirt….contest or no contest. Thanks for making “time to get dressed” such fun!

luci - February 10, 2010 - 8:43 pm

I HAVE A QUESTION?? I have the patchwork jeans you made a long time ago. SZ 2 – I am not sure of the name you had for them. They do not fit my Jilli bear anymore so I wanted to sell them, but not a huge ebay person. Know anyone who might just love to have them?? THanks!

Lori - February 10, 2010 - 8:42 pm

Love it all….impossible to choose…but if I had to pick just a few it would have to be the Butterbee Dress, it’s so soft and feminine looking, also love, love, love the cookie tank and perry big ruffles. Can’t wait to place my order!!! Thank you!!!

Abby - February 10, 2010 - 8:35 pm

I couldn’t decide until I saw the detail pic of the Raven skirt. I definitely have a twirly girly, and I think she would wear that for weeks on end ๐Ÿ™‚ I had to laugh picturing her spinning herself silly around the house. And since her first ballet class is next week, I would have to go with the Dance Silly Tank and Sprite Leggings.

Beth - February 10, 2010 - 8:34 pm

such pretty colors! I am always drawn to your mom clothes, that’s actually what I ordered first, now I love it for clients and my daughter too. My fave pieces from this line are the mom blue eyed claudia and the girls boyfriend cardigan.

luci - February 10, 2010 - 8:32 pm

I am personally in love with the Wendy Tiered dress and I think about any of the leggings will work. I tell myself every collection. Luci – the girls have TOO much and you don’t have to buy the entire collection. Then this little birdie calls in my ear – “Oh it is so great = maybe even better then last season – I need it all” I am a sucker. I can’t help it – I am addicted. Great adult stuff too!!

Kelly Baker - February 10, 2010 - 8:32 pm

We love it all but the Raven Skirt and Dance Silly Tank is my daughters favorite. She refuses to wear jeans now…she says “they aren’t fancy enough.”

Kelly Baker - February 10, 2010 - 8:29 pm

All of your clothing is adorable. Everyone is always asking where my daughter gets her clothes. We love, love, love the Raven Skirt and Dance Silly tank.

Stacey Richardson - February 10, 2010 - 8:27 pm

I love the happy leggings with the matching tiered dress. I have a 20 month old daughter and am finally going to be able to start purchasing Matilda Jane clothes for her. I’m so excited!

brook - February 10, 2010 - 8:26 pm

I just discovered your precious clothes- all 3 of my girls will love them. Can’t wait for the trunk show next week – have to have the disco big ruffles and that cool gray ruffled shirt for my tween!

Sara - February 10, 2010 - 8:26 pm

Well I love all of it so it is hard to begin. The first must have is the windy tiered and the happy leggings. LOVE the picture of Gabi (trunk keeper from Ripon WI daughter) in the salon. Carrie is a good friend of mine and she has definetly shared the LOVE of MJ with me. Keep on designing you are one creative person.

Anna - February 10, 2010 - 8:24 pm

I’m loving a few pieces, but I think my fave is the Raven skirt with the Cookie Tank… or with the Dance Yourself Silly tank… or with the cookie tank… or with… ugh. ๐Ÿ™‚

Marnie - February 10, 2010 - 8:24 pm

Love Love Love the Cher dress for me!!! For my daughter the tween layla dress is TDF!!! She is wearing it for her 8th Grade graduation, so she insisted!!! What an awesome collection!! I want EVERYTHING in it! You have such a great talent!

Katie - February 10, 2010 - 8:23 pm

Love, love, love it all!!! I will take one or two of each ๐Ÿ™‚ This may already have been covered, but what is the dress pictured with the Hammond Bay hat? It’s all so stunning I may have passed over it, but the dress will certainly be on my wish list if it is available, among all of the other must haves!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Lynna's mom - February 10, 2010 - 8:23 pm

I love the wendy tiered dress and the happy leggings. So cute and matches everything else! Love it, love it!

Holly - February 10, 2010 - 8:21 pm

I LOVE the entire line. So hard to choose… but I would have to pick the Wendy Tiered Dress and Happy leggings! Can’t wait to have my show next week.

Allie - February 10, 2010 - 8:20 pm

I’m going out on a limb from everyone else and letting you know i adore the layla dress with the sprite leggings! A little bird told me this was someone else’s favorite as well. pick me, pick me!

kristin m. - February 10, 2010 - 8:18 pm

***i would love the wendy dress and the sprite leggings for my little “tween”***

Tammy - February 10, 2010 - 8:17 pm

Easter is calling my name! My fav is the Adult Blue Eyed Cardigan, Adult at the Fair Skirt, and the Adult Lavish Tee. I just think these are so classy and pretty.

Nicole - February 10, 2010 - 8:16 pm

The Raven skirt is amazing! What a pretty line Denise.

jennifer r - February 10, 2010 - 8:07 pm

It is all so adorable….but i love the dance tank and the raven skirt!

Merri Thomas - February 10, 2010 - 8:06 pm

I just love the Raven skirt! My daughter is going to love that! And to go with it the Cookie shirt! So cute!!

Brandie - February 10, 2010 - 8:05 pm

The Summertime Tank Dress is by far my favorite! My daughter’s name is Layla so you know I gotta have the Layla Lace dress too with the Sprite Leggings underneath. Soo cute!

Mandi - February 10, 2010 - 8:04 pm

Okay, I think this is the hardest question because this line totally ROCKS! I am so in LOVE with it and cannot wait to get the items on my Wish List (which I love). But, if I had to pick one outfit right now I would have to go with the Dance Yourself Silly tank with the Raven skirt.

You totally hit this one out of the park….

Jessica from Bubblegum Tree - February 10, 2010 - 8:04 pm

I just made my wish list and I’m pretty sure it was one of everything. <3 this collection!

I think my favorite outfit will probably be the Cookie Tank Top with the Raven Skirt. Add in the Mossy Willow for chilly spring mornings and you have the perfect outfit!

Jenn - February 10, 2010 - 8:01 pm

Picking a favorite is pure torture. I HEART green and when you design with it I get SO excited ๐Ÿ™‚ The sprite leggings make me SO VERY HAPPY. They are the perfect shades of HAPPY…hope to see some chubby little legs at our house wearing them! Maybe with the Wendy tiered dress or Pepper knot. Or maybe just running half naked through the backyard…whatever!

Amanda - February 10, 2010 - 7:58 pm

The favorite by far is the Raven skirt and the DYS tank – absolutely love, love, LOVE this! I’m sure this will be coming to live at my house, contest or no contest!

Christie - February 10, 2010 - 7:57 pm

Just loving the Willow, Cookie tank and Perry ruffles combo! We’ve loved our GB willow so already know this one will be a fast fav…plus the Perry blue and Cookie buttons will accent my little one’s blue eyes! She looks like her Dad, but she’s got my baby blues!

Oh and dying for the Ethel in second release! Love it with those shorties.

Rochelle - February 10, 2010 - 7:57 pm

Oh, so much cuteness to choose from! I’d have to say my favorite is the Wendy dress (and my little one who had previously hated dresses is warming up to them so I HAVE to get it!) with the Happy leggings of course! I really love that lavish tee too, so simple and cute!

Jessica Johnson - February 10, 2010 - 7:57 pm

Did I forget to say that I am buying everything else to go with the hopefully wrapped pretty and sent to me becasue I won me some matching momma and 2 girls willow jackets? ๐Ÿ™‚ Can’t wait till the 15th! Jessica Johnson

Ann-Marie - February 10, 2010 - 7:57 pm

For my Em, it has to be the wendy tiered dress and happy leggings…so comfy, but bright and cheery! LOVE IT!

Rakelle - February 10, 2010 - 7:56 pm

Too many choices! But if I have to choose, I will go with the Wendy Tiered Dress and Sprite Leggings. But, who can resist a Matilda Jane knot dress? The Pepper Knot Dress is adorable.

Jen A - February 10, 2010 - 7:56 pm

I like so much but there is something about the Tanna linen dress and Lindey linen capri ruffles – LOVE IT!

Emily Szettella - February 10, 2010 - 7:54 pm

I LOVE the Skye Knot Top over the Pearl Lap Dress with the Perry Big Ruffles! Loving the color scheme so much!

Ana - February 10, 2010 - 7:54 pm

love wendy dress – I think Lola will rock it

also blue ruffles and stripped shorts

Jenn Lankford - February 10, 2010 - 7:53 pm

MY FAV FAV FAV: The Mossy Willow Cardigan with the Cookie Tank Top and Sprite Leggings!!

workingnine2five - February 10, 2010 - 7:51 pm

you realize that this is a tough question for us mj addicts. first of all I LOVE LOVE everything but if I had to narrow it down to one favorite outfit….the one that just screams soft, comfy and a playground worthy piece…’s just gotta be the butterbee lap dress and the Perry big ruffles. I love the dressy dresses but always reach for the comfy lap dresses.

Emily - February 10, 2010 - 7:51 pm

Oh la la, the Wendy Tiered Dress and Happy Leggings are my favorite. And I’d like to add that my other favorite is how you’ve added additional views of the clothing. Allows me to see it all up close and helps me confirm I need it all. Brilliant, Thank You Denise.

Kendall in SC - February 10, 2010 - 7:49 pm

My favorite by far is the Wendy Tiered Dress paired with the Happy Leggings! Denise your pieces are fabulous. This is the 4th collection I have purchased and by far is my favorite! Thank you for being you and making such wonderful clothes that are fun, tasteful, and appropriate for my girls…..finding all three is very hard these days! Hugs! ๐Ÿ™‚

Jennifer - February 10, 2010 - 7:48 pm

I love Skye knot top with the simple tee and Kimmie straightees!

Karen - February 10, 2010 - 7:45 pm

Amy - February 10, 2010 - 7:39 pm

<——You're asking this girl to tell you what her favorite pi tece is of the ROCKING HB Collection…Well, considering my "Wish List" was a much as my Mortage payment…I have revised it. Thank goodness!…I do need closets to hang Hailey's MJ…LOL! If you make me tell you about the one I got excited about I would say Tanna Linen Dress..It ROCKS! I think it's something different for MJ, I like linen and I think it's extremely versatile…also it can carry you in the fall! I think every MJ princess will look precious in the tanna and too. It also is trendy but traditional at the same time. Anyway, I love it all and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Hailey wears a school uniform everyday!!..boring! Well, she is going to a new school next year for 1st grade so she will not wear uniforms anymore…I AM SO, SO EXCITED!! She can actually wear her MJ to school and my baby girl will look fierce!!! ((BIG I JUST WANNA SQUEEZE YOU HUGS)) BTW…I know I ramble!….My hubby is in Afghanistan and will finally be home on Friday..WOOT! Woot! for only 14 days ๐Ÿ™ But, anyway I purchased Hailey a pettiskirt to wear and valentines tee…OH NO!..she said "Daddy, will want to see me in my Matilda Jane"..he told me I look pretty when I wear it…Broke my heart!! Charlie feels like your clothes just scream Hailey because it fits her spunky/colorful/sweet and loving heart. ;0)

Jamie Hicks - February 10, 2010 - 7:36 pm

Favorite? The WILLOW! For sure!!
Have to have that, the dance yourself silly, lindy linen capri, and sprite leggings…not an ‘outfit’ but our must have pieces to build from.

Can not WAIT for 435. I am going to try so hard to come again. Will have a new lil’ one and we’ll see if I can bring the Lady Adyson again as well, or perhaps Sir Aiden!

Jennifer Heidl-Knobloch - February 10, 2010 - 7:35 pm

How exciting for Kimberly! What great creativity…I love how she captures that natural curiosity of children in these shots. You ask for my favorite shot? I’d say the one with the girls looking at the magazine because I LOVE the story behind it. As for my favorite outfit, what a tough decision. I love that ruffle skirt, which, according to Carrie, you all are calling the MJ tutu. : ) I love the depth and texture of the fabrics here! Paired with one of your knit tees or tanks–what an outfit! : )

Best of luck with the spring line. I’m anxiously awaiting my show next Saturday!

Jessica F - February 10, 2010 - 7:34 pm

My favorite is the Raven! My daughter is going to love that whole outfit. She loves anything that twirls a lot like a princess dress.

DANIELLE - February 10, 2010 - 7:30 pm

Kimberly V - February 10, 2010 - 7:28 pm

Thank you to the ladies who have made such kind comments about my photos especially Kelly L who said she loved the little girl in the curlers. That’s my little Naomi and she loves taking pictures in Matilda Jane clothes. We had to bribe them with sucker at the end, but it sure made for a cute pic. Right? What a blessing to have my pics posted on here. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Kimberly V

Jill Hoglund - February 10, 2010 - 7:27 pm

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your Wendy Tiered Dress with the Sprite leggings… and of course your Oh Molly Sksirt with the Cookie tank top. LOVE the colors and patterns. A great line. Was the first thing I checked this morning while baby’s bottle was warming ๐Ÿ™‚

Ashley H. - February 10, 2010 - 7:26 pm

Not sure if my other comment made it or not? So here we go again:)
I’m sure everybody else has said this but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this collection! You have truly outdone yourself!
If I had to pick an outfit I would choose the Cookie Tank Top, Dance Silly Skirt, Sprite Leggings and the Boyfriend Cardigan. The reason I would choose this outfit is because you can mix and match every piece depending on the or cold. GENIUS LINE!!!

Emily - February 10, 2010 - 7:25 pm

My favorite is the raven skirt over the hello shorties with the dance yourself silly tank. I can totally see my two year old running around in that. Comfy and totally adorable at the same time.

Megan - February 10, 2010 - 7:24 pm

I have to go with the perry blue ruffles, cookie tank and willow cardigan. So cute and comfy. LOVE LOST

Schoolcraft - February 10, 2010 - 7:23 pm

Ohhh…my fav outfits to coordinate my twin girlies are Cookie Tank/Oh Molly Skirt/Sprite Leggings and Wendy Dress/Happy Legging. I can hardly wait to see my girls rockin’ in these sets!

Lindsey - February 10, 2010 - 7:23 pm

Ummmm, can it be an adult dress? LOVE all of it but the Adult Cher Dress (size small)is a must have! Can’t wait to see all of these awesome clothes in person next week!!!!

Anxiously waiting,

Ashley H. - February 10, 2010 - 7:20 pm

ohhhh myyy… absolutely fabulous collection!!! By far my favorite line!!!
I’m sure everybody else has already said this (haven’t read through the comments yet) but I love EVERYTHING!!!
If I had to pick my favorite outfit I guess I would pick the Cookie Tanktop, boyfriend cardigan (for a chilly day!), Dance Silly Skirt and the Sprite Leggings.
The reason I would pick these for an outfit is because they are all so versatile and my little girlie could wear them on both warm and cold days. LOVE THIS!

AmyT - February 10, 2010 - 7:17 pm

I let my 4 year old pick her favorite & she loves the Bay of birds tank dress with the boyfriend cardigan. She loves sweaters for some reason. Which is funny considering we live in south MS where after April, we do not wear sweaters. I love the Betsy bubble for my new baby girl who will be here in 4 weeks but still has no name. My husband & I can not agree & neither one of us are giving in. As for this season of Lost, it has become extremely confusing. I hope you have a better understanding of what is going on than I do!

Tracy - February 10, 2010 - 7:16 pm

Hands Down – it’s the Wendy Tiered Dress and Happy leggings! Way too cute. Raven Skirt close second.

kathleen - February 10, 2010 - 7:16 pm

Love the raven skirt and the dance silly tank!!

Taira - February 10, 2010 - 7:14 pm

My favorite (and my daughters also if you can believe it) is the mossy willow cardi, cookie tank and perry big ruffles. Screams spring and comfort!!! LOVE IT ๐Ÿ™‚

Jennifer M - February 10, 2010 - 7:14 pm

Ok hard to choose but I have 2 favorite outfits and honestly I couldn’t decide between them First is the raven skirt, DYS tank, and the hello shorties. Second favorite is the perry big ruffles, cookie tank and the willow. Great collection!!!

Heather - February 10, 2010 - 7:14 pm

Wonderful season to come!! Love the colors and the breathe of fresh air!! I love the skye knot top, with the raven skirt and the sprite leggings. I don’t see them paired but I know they’d be super cute together!!

Elizabeth Hummel - February 10, 2010 - 7:09 pm

Love, love, LOVE the Raven skirt and Simple tee with the Willow cardigan! I wish they would fit me! I would wear it all the time and twirl to my heart’s content! There is nothing like a twirly dress or skirt to make you feel young and girly!

Addie and Laurie's mommy - February 10, 2010 - 7:07 pm

Wow, I can imagine myself on Easter morning wearing my favorite outfit! I just love the Adult Blue-Eyed Claudia Cardigan, Adult at the Fair Skirt, and the Adult Lavish Tee. It is so classy and pretty. My girls would think I am the one all dressed up for once instead of just them..

Gran - February 10, 2010 - 7:03 pm

Have to add two more favorites………the wendy stripe dress and the sprite leggings. Hoping to have both of them on the way in a few days or weeks.
And the pictures above are just so cute. They bring smiles and warm hearts on these COLD days. The beautiful Hammond Bay bright colors remind us that spring will be here.

Cara - February 10, 2010 - 7:02 pm

I have to say the Raven skirt….it’s so cute and a little bit Sassy! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Perfect for my 7 year old!!!

kate - February 10, 2010 - 7:01 pm

I heart the pepper knot dress. It’s a must-have.

Chantena - February 10, 2010 - 6:57 pm

Denise - February 10, 2010 - 6:55 pm

Oh, Erina..I do love you

And yes Lauren, I am off to watch LOST

Erina - February 10, 2010 - 6:54 pm

Am I allowed to play??? I really like the blue striped pants that look soft like sweatpants… and the green ones with the dots too (they look kinda like gaucho pants, which I love). I don’t know the real name of them. But Moooom said she won’t get them for me, because I don’t like a matching top. My mom only buys in outfits… how silly, right??

About to give birth - February 10, 2010 - 6:53 pm

I thought I was in total love with Gypsy Blue – Hammond Bay may replace it – each season is another stunning collection! I love the Wendy tiered dress with the Kimmi straightee.

Would love to win – baby #2 due on Sunday – may not be able to play many of the contests for the rest of the week!

Jennifer K. - February 10, 2010 - 6:52 pm

I love the Wendy dress with the sprite leggings for the girls! And the Natalie Skirt with the Claudia Cardigan for the ladies! Can’t wait for my show! Thanks!

Cristen S - February 10, 2010 - 6:49 pm

Okay if I had to pick one thing – its the Sprite Leggings – everything from the name to the color to the ruffles bring me joy! It doesn’t hurt that the name reminds me of a childhood love, Rainbow Brite! ๐Ÿ™‚

GBMOMMY - February 10, 2010 - 6:49 pm

OMG I have to have almost all of the new line but especially the dance yourself silly tank, tutu skirt and shorties. LOOOOOOVE them and cannot wait to get em’ and put em’ on my little girl and let her dance herself silly! Cannot wait!!!!!

Sundee - February 10, 2010 - 6:44 pm

Why, I thought you’d never ask!!!

It is so difficult to choose. Every time I think you have outdone yourself, you go and outdo yourself!! LOVE the green! It is my favorite color.

The most gorgeous outfit IMO is the green Willow cardi, the Wendy tiered dress and the Perry Big ruffles!! It just makes me so anxious for spring – we are so tired of the cold MN weather.

april s - February 10, 2010 - 6:44 pm

oh hello, EVERYTHING is amazing! My fave has to be the cookie tank top with the boyfriend cardigan and jeans or with the dance silly skirt. It’s killing me!

Colleen Genovese - February 10, 2010 - 6:43 pm

Well…my daughter’s favorite is the raven skirt with the cookie tank….mommies favorite is the pepper knot dress with the perry big ruffle or kimmie straight knees…they tie!!!! Love it all:)

Carey - February 10, 2010 - 6:43 pm

My favorite is the tutu skirt and dance yourself silly skirt. They represent what I will always remember about my daughter wearing MJ clothes – the happiness of childhood.

tree*head - February 10, 2010 - 6:42 pm

OOO so tough but I am in love with the Raven skirt!!

Monica H - February 10, 2010 - 6:41 pm

If I had to pick one, it would be the oh molly skirt with the cookie tank, sooo adorable!!

lauren murchison - February 10, 2010 - 6:41 pm

Jessica Jackson - February 10, 2010 - 6:41 pm

They are all my favorite! I am a new MJ addict and I just can’t get enough. I’ve already scheduled my second trunk show and just can’t wait! I LOVE the Dance Yourself Silly tank paired with the Raven Skirt. I have two year old twin girls and dancing, being silly, and twirling are their favorite things to do in the living room…I can only imagine how much fun they’ll have twirling in that precious skirt. Thanks so much for creating such expressive clothing! Jessica (Asheville, NC)

brookelorraine - February 10, 2010 - 6:39 pm

Ok So this has to be one of my favorite collections…My Ellesyn Bea (she refers tto herself as “ELLE BEA”) loves the Wendy Tiered Dress with the Happy leggings. She calls all of Matilda Jane “TILLa JANE” it is so cute. My husband says I have created a monster, but the fact that he loves it too only fuels the addiction.

Keep those gears grinding at 435 cause we love everthing that comes out of there!!!! brooke :P)

Caylee - February 10, 2010 - 6:38 pm

Ooooooh the choices, but I think the DYS wins by a hair!!! LOVE all of it!!!

Kelly Lynam - February 10, 2010 - 6:38 pm

I love the little girl with the curlers!

Summer Radford - February 10, 2010 - 6:37 pm

I just love this entire collection, however, my favorite is the Raven Skirt with the Simple Tee and Dance tank over it (with the Sprite leggings)…and of course the Boyfriend Cardigan. Love layering!

fruit punch tulip - February 10, 2010 - 6:30 pm

2 Favs on “my list” – Cookie Tank Top & Dance Silly Skirt. I mean who wouldn’t want to dance in this adorable little number. Next Skye Knot Top & Marine Straightee – just too cute. Love all the Adult choices – fav is the Blue Eyed Claudia Cardigan. I think I could pull if off, even though I have brown eyes. Congrats Denise another great line!!!!!!

susan g - February 10, 2010 - 6:29 pm

I now have a very opinionated 9 year, but luckily she will still wear Matilda Jane. Her favorite is the tween lovely bird dress:-))

mercj - February 10, 2010 - 6:26 pm

My fav… so hard to pick just one outfit! I guess I’d have to say the Raven tutu skirt, simple tee, argyle knee socks and the whitney headband, sooooo cute!

Emily K - February 10, 2010 - 6:26 pm

The wendy tiered dress…definitely! With the happy leggings ๐Ÿ™‚

DAna - February 10, 2010 - 6:26 pm

Really pick one favorite, I can’t. I would have to say from your very first tease pictures my favorite is the Happy Leggings and the Wendy Tiered Dress. In the video that Lora Lora did you had the Happy Leggings with a tank dress, is that going to be coming? My bank account hates you! But I love you!

Carrieann Carey - February 10, 2010 - 6:23 pm

Oh my…I have to pick ONE!! Well there is a dress (you know, the one in the pic with the Hammond Bay hat) that is not listed but I’m guessing that it will be soon ;)…that would be my favorite. For now I would say the Cookie tank and the Raven skirt…if my daughter had that on I would just “eat her up”!!! You are so very talented, Denise!!! Thanks for sharing with us ๐Ÿ™‚

JennWCox - February 10, 2010 - 6:21 pm

I must say I am totally in love with this entire line! My favorite color—-green! My two redheaded girls will be sure to catch some attention this Spring and Summer! My favorite outfit is the Pearl Lap Dress, with the Sprite Leggings. My daughter is quite tall, but slinder, so I will squeeze her in a size 6, even if it is a little short! Too Cute!!!!!!

Bridget Amato - February 10, 2010 - 6:20 pm

Very sweet – We love the Skye Knot Top with the Pearl Lap Dress – or with the Marine Straightees. So cute. Anna definitely has a say in what she’ll wear ever since MJ came into our lives and she’s soon to be 3. Really, she can’t go wrong with whatever she puts together either – that’s the best part!!! Thanks for all of your hard work.

WhitleyKate's mom - February 10, 2010 - 6:20 pm

Whitley Kate and my fave is the raven skirt paired with the Dance Yourself Silly tank! She is quite the little dancer, so it fits her personality. She has taken tap for 3 years now (and she’s just 5). Granted, those aren’t the only two things on the wishlist for us! I was up last night, as I knew what today would bring for Whitley. I came downstairs from trying to put her closet back together (the entire organizer fell, so all of her clothing and everything else fell to the ground), and saw that Hammond Bay was up! So, I was up until after 2 am making my list and sending it to every one of my husband’s email addys! ๐Ÿ™‚ You know, the wishlist is a really fabulous idea! I was able to nonchalantly give my husband the “must-haves” without saying a word! I think it worked well!

nikkip. - February 10, 2010 - 6:17 pm

one favorite??!! my Magnolia Claire is going to be adorable in the Wendy dress & happy leggings!I think those leggings are wonderful! thanks for adding more little sizes!

jennifer cid - February 10, 2010 - 6:16 pm

Oh goodness. I am in love with the lovely bird tank dress, sprite leggings and I have to have the tie to go with it (dont know the name) any of them will do!! very edgy yet so my girl. she wants the tie SO bad, especially when I showed her the pic of the girl with this dress. she said she promised to wear it EVERY DAY. totally my favorite!!!

jill s - February 10, 2010 - 6:16 pm

i LOVE the adult picnic dress. oh. my. goodness.
it’s gorgeous.

but for the little girl in my life i’d have to say the i’m gonna go with the perry big ruffle pants + the wendy tiered dress. to die for.

Jeanelle Caraway - February 10, 2010 - 6:15 pm

Fave – Maggie Stew dress

Shevaun in chilly maine - February 10, 2010 - 6:07 pm

you know how hard it is to pick one outfit when you now have three girly girls?? I would have to pick the Pepper Knot (i am smitten with her too!) with the lavish tee and happy leggings, because my girl loves color, but man is it chilly up here!! Thank you so much for yet another gorgeous collection!

Nicki Kloeblen - February 10, 2010 - 6:06 pm

I love the perry big ruffles with the mossy willow and the cookie tank. Ruffles are always my favorite MJ piece, so girly girl. And the willow, well it’s just about one of the cutest things ever. I love, love it! You are so talented!

Mary - February 10, 2010 - 6:05 pm

I LOVE the new collection!!! My little girl is only 9 months – just finally fitting into the MJ pieces I’ve been collecting since I was pregnant and found out she was a girl! I think it’s the Betsy bubble that’s my favorite for her… she will only fit into the bubbles for so long and we have all the ones from past lines just waiting in her closet (still 30 degrees here). The Wendy dress with happy leggings is sooo cute but she can wear dresses for several years, so the bubble wins for now!

staci - February 10, 2010 - 6:05 pm

I am really loving the Skye Knot Top and the Raven Skirt….both are just darling!

Angel/TaDa! Creations - February 10, 2010 - 6:03 pm

My absolute favorite is the sweet little dress in the photo for the Hammond Bay hat. But that one must be coming in the 2nd wave. So for the current wave, I think the Raven tutu skirt is just darling! That’s my favorite (size 4)!

smalltownjenny - February 10, 2010 - 5:59 pm

Kimmie Straightee pants and the Butterbee lap dress!!!!! Love the new line!

LAM - February 10, 2010 - 5:58 pm

I LOVE everything! But if I have to pick it would be the raven skirt, and the cookie tank!

Ann - February 10, 2010 - 5:56 pm

Love the Happy Leggings! Can’t wait until you post the TDF tiered dress that you have listed with it! Maybe I’ll try the gorgeous Pearl Lap Dress for now! Thanks for a refreshing break from all this snow!!

Pookie Pot Pie - February 10, 2010 - 5:56 pm

My absolute *FAV* is the Cookie Tank Top & Raven Skirt!! Pink & Green are my favorite colors!!

a lovell - February 10, 2010 - 5:55 pm

I love love love the Dance Yourself Silly outfit…the whole thing…in fact I already have it in my wishlist cart…since I never ever win at these random things. That won’t stop me from getting it one way or another. Unfortunately, my wishlist cart looks much like your recently posted wish list cart…so some things will have to remain a wish.

Your are so good at what you do.

Ali - February 10, 2010 - 5:55 pm

So hard to choose but I’m LOVING the Cookie tank top with the Raven skirt finished off with the Boyfriend cardigan (for that cool coastal breeze in the evening) Oh how shed’ dance herself silly in that!

Megan - February 10, 2010 - 5:53 pm

Oh My Goodness. . Im Head Over Heels In Love With Every Single Piece!! It Would Be So Hard To Choose But Think Im Most In Love With The Adult Mossy Millow fo me & the Happy Leggings & Wendy Tiered Dress for my one year old. . SOOoO ADORABLE!!
Im In Love Love Love!!!

Annette M - February 10, 2010 - 5:53 pm

My favorite doesn’t matter. It’s all about Luci’s favorite. That would be the Oh Molly and Cookie tank. I’m hoping that I will have enough to get it at Hollys Mamas trunk show. Hoping it will help soften the blow that her, her little sister and I will have to leave Daddy here and go stay at my sisters place for a while. Crabby neighbors here think a 4 year old and 18month old should sit at all times in a sealed up apt and make no noise what so ever. Can’t happen so we have to leave or be evicted. Can’t get another place right now so have to go visit sis for awhile.
Love all the HB pictures though. Looks like you all had a blast.

Kelley - February 10, 2010 - 5:52 pm

I think the Perry Big Ruffles with Cookie Tank and Mossy Willow is so charming. Can’t wait to see in person!

Anne - February 10, 2010 - 5:51 pm

This was an easy one. I LOVE the Raven Skirt paired with the Hello Shorties and Dance Silly Shirt. The Pepper Knot Dress was a close second. I just love this whole collection!

Michelle L - February 10, 2010 - 5:50 pm

Love all the sweetness! Adore the Wendy tiered dress, many different layers just like my little girl and the Raven skirt and Dance Silly tank would speak true for my little monkey #2. And as us moms always come last the adult Cher dress is truly elegant, love it all ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks, Michelle

Jocelyn Acuff - February 10, 2010 - 5:50 pm

I am in love w/ the boyfriend cardigan. Its a universal piece that MAKES anything from t shirt w/ jeans to tanks and shorts.. cardigans are LOVELY! Thanks for this piece!

amy - February 10, 2010 - 5:48 pm

I really love every piece of this collection, but I would say that my favorite is the lovely bird tank dress. My daughter is a dress girl, and I just love the brightness in this dress!

Soph'sMum - February 10, 2010 - 5:48 pm

We’re covered in 40 inches of snow with wind gusts up to 40 mph here and don’t know when all this cold will go away but we’ll take your Dance Tank and the Raven Skirt and the Cher Dress any time. Just looking at them makes our heart melt and feel warm inside. Oh, and my lil’ one says: I can “definitely” (her new fave word) dance in that skirt all day, mommy. Oh pick us pleeeze Denise and I’ll also dance silly for you too! =)

Tami - February 10, 2010 - 5:47 pm

The Wendy Tiered dress and the Happy Leggings. That is my number 1 must have. So, so cute!

Holly's Mama - February 10, 2010 - 5:46 pm

My favorite outfit from the pictures on the website is the Wendy tiered dress and the happy leggings. My daughter and I both LOVE the outfit. Holly is so happy all the time so the leggings remind of her plus she loves flowers. The tiered dress reminds me of her too because she loves everything and it has a lot of different fabrics on it. Everything is gorgeous!!! I can’t wait until my trunk show next Tuesday!

Kate S. - February 10, 2010 - 5:45 pm

Oh we LOVE Wendy! Anna loves playing in her Wendy House (an English term for a playhouse) and thinks this must be the perfect dress to wear while doing it. ๐Ÿ™‚ Other wish list items? Argyle knee socks and the Willow cardi. You’ve done it again, Denise!

Mary Kathryn - February 10, 2010 - 5:43 pm

I just adore that Raven skirt with the ruffled shorties underneath and the Dance tank. It is just so sassy – perfect for my sassy little 2.5 year old. She will be rocking it!

christina - February 10, 2010 - 5:39 pm

Love the entire line Denise! Great job to you and all at 435! MUAH!

April - February 10, 2010 - 5:38 pm

What about for the mommies? Hey I love MJ for my little girl, but I also love it for me! I want just about everything for the moms! I guess my favorite outfit for the moms that is out this time is the Natalie skirt, with the Pure Tee and the Blued Eyed Cardigan on top. Now I need to get some cute shoes to match!

Cynthia Schauss - February 10, 2010 - 5:36 pm

I love LOST! It is so confusing this year…more so than past years…if that is possible. The whole back and forth b/w the years is confusing me (IRL and on the island).

My favorite outfit would definately be the Raven Skirt (this is by far my favorite piece…love the layers!) and the Cookie Tank. Love Love Love this set!

Great Job…I love HB. The greens are amazing (and soooo fresh)!

Kath - February 10, 2010 - 5:32 pm

But is it REALLY Sayid…that is the question!

It’s so hard to pick a favorite. Hammond Bay is great! I’m gonna say the Tween Wendy tiered dress. So cute and different.

Denise - February 10, 2010 - 5:31 pm

What the heck does SOD mean?? I keep thinking about it and I can only think off grass, like sod?

Mama Urchin - February 10, 2010 - 5:31 pm

I love the stephanie big ruffles and either the skye knot or wendy tiered dress, I can’t decide!

Jeannine - February 10, 2010 - 5:30 pm

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the Kimmie straightees wtih the lavish Tee and Pepper KNot dress…but then again I love it all! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Katie M. - February 10, 2010 - 5:29 pm

I LOOOOOVE Hammond Bay!!! I (like everyone else) can’t choose just one favorite–BUT if I had to, I would pick the Pepper Knot Dress–too cute! I can’t wait to see everything in person ๐Ÿ™‚

*~Cavaliere_Cuties~* - February 10, 2010 - 5:28 pm

I love EVERYTHING!! But if I could pick 1 dream outfit it would have to be the Butterbee Lap Dress with the Happy Leggings and Hammond Bay Hat….TOO CUTE!!! Congrats on the beautiful new line, everything is adorable! ๐Ÿ™‚

Jennifer R - February 10, 2010 - 5:27 pm

Okay I am sure it is like everyone else but the wendy and the happy leggings. I hoping my little girl will love it too.

Heather - February 10, 2010 - 5:25 pm

Can I say “All, Everything, The Whole Enchilada”!?! Everything is so darn fablicious! If I had to choose….I absolutely ADORE the Raven Skirt for my 6yr old. Olivia will be dancing her socks off in it! For my 3yr old Rylan, I’ve had my eyes set on the Skye Knot Top since I saw the picture posted on your January 24th blog post. The green ruffle & color combination had me at marshmellow.

Lisa Marie - February 10, 2010 - 5:25 pm

Gotta be “Wendy”
LOVE LOVE it for my
‘colorful’ 2 year old!!!

Kim Stockton - February 10, 2010 - 5:23 pm

I LOVE all of it and I’m so excited for the trunk show I’m going to next week!! My wish list looks alot like your wish list post from a few days ago. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the Wendy Tiered dress with the happy leggings! But that, of course, is just the beginning.

rebecca - February 10, 2010 - 5:21 pm

For my chubby little 1 year old…it has to be the Betsy bubble! I can see her now with her roly poly arms and legs hanging out! LOOOOVE! For her older sister…it has to be the
Wendy tiered dress. It’s to die for!!!!

Head over Heals for Hammond Bay - February 10, 2010 - 5:19 pm

I have been on the site all day-I am a STALKER!!! It has always been about my daughter (which of course will continue to be the case-for her the tiered Wendy dress) but I am in love with the Cher dress for me-I have never bought any thing for me (never have any money left after buying for my daughter)!

Patty - February 10, 2010 - 5:18 pm

I can’t decide between the Betsy Bubble or the Mabel Suit for my chunky monkey granddaughter!

kaitlyn - February 10, 2010 - 5:18 pm

How are we supposed to pick just one favorite outfit? Everything looks fabulous! Ok, if we had to pick just one…We must have the pepper knot dress and sprite leggings/or kimmie straightee!!!!

Wendy Jacob - February 10, 2010 - 5:17 pm

OMG! I love the dance yourself silly outfit!!!!! How cute w/ the green and just a touch of PiNk!!!
I am coming to the MatildaJane show at Kimberly’s next week!!! I can’t wait!
love the cute clothes you have.
I am hoping to get an outfit for my daughter and myself! PICTURE TIME!!!!

Megan {Shabby Blogs} - February 10, 2010 - 5:16 pm

Oh my goodness! You have totally outdone yourself! These are amaaaazing…like every single piece you do! My favorite has to be the raven skirt with that darling dance tank and the cute ruffle pants. Good gosh, could they be any more delicious!?! I think I will dream about that skirt in my sleep tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚

LS - February 10, 2010 - 5:16 pm

I love the perry ruffles with the willow and the cookie tank, so cute!

jenniB - February 10, 2010 - 5:14 pm

Oh, The raven skirt, striped cardigan, sprite leggings, and cookie tank. even if i didn’t have a little girl, i would buy the raven and hang it on my wall. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Michelle - February 10, 2010 - 5:13 pm

Definitely a hard one….Cookie Tank and Oh Molly is my must have!

Eva - February 10, 2010 - 5:06 pm

I’m happy Sayid isn’t dead, too, but he’s been “infected”. I love him and Desmond. Where’s Desmond? I hope he make a comeback. I’m going to be so sad when it’s all over!
Love the collection. It’s so nice to see the beautiful bright colors when it’s so snowy and yucky outside! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I think I have to go with Oh Molly and the Cookie Tank – soooo cute!

Lauren - February 10, 2010 - 5:05 pm

I love the raven skirt and the cookie tank!!!!

Monica - February 10, 2010 - 5:05 pm

I LOVE the Raven Skirt and the Cookie Tank. That is hands down, my favorite!!! LOVE. The colors of HB are just gorgeous…can’t wait to get me some! ๐Ÿ™‚

Katie M - February 10, 2010 - 5:04 pm

So glad things look to be going good- hope this is a wonderful season for all the TK’s and for MJC as a whole- I know I will be doing my part to make sure things sell LOL

Lisa W - February 10, 2010 - 5:03 pm

Well, I have two outfits, but I asked The Princess and she has spoken so our FAVORITE is the Cookie Tank with the Kimmie Straightees.

However, mama also loves the Wendy Dress with the Lindey Ruffles!

Kara - February 10, 2010 - 5:02 pm

I have a few favorites on the Web site and can’t wait to see them in person. For my 18 month old, I really love the Wendy Tiered Dress. I think its the perfect dress for comfort while still collecting those oohs and aahs.

Amy Hatcher - February 10, 2010 - 5:02 pm

Oh, I love SOOO many pieces, it’s hard to pick a fave!! If I HAD to, I would have to say the Wendy Dress and Perry BR’s. LOVE these together. I think the Perry’s will make the blue in the Wendy pop!! Can’t wait to see it all IRL!

Emily M - February 10, 2010 - 5:01 pm

I love HB!!!!! I had my first trunk show in December and am officially hooked!!!! I have lots of outfits on my wish list… but my favorite is the Wendy Tiered Dress, Happy Leggings and Nadia Knit Headband.

Amitha - February 10, 2010 - 5:00 pm

I love it all!! If I had to choose, I think the Willow and the Raven..and pretty much all the knits!!

Yahoo! I can’t wait for 435 this year. :0)

Lynn - February 10, 2010 - 4:59 pm

My favorite item from the new collection would have to be the adult mossy willow:) I love that you can wear all seasons of the year!

sashadvm - February 10, 2010 - 4:57 pm

My favorite outfit?????

well that is super hard because I do love so many items!!! but what am I most excited about getting?? the adult natalie skirt!!!

Laura - February 10, 2010 - 4:56 pm

Boy, how do you pick out of so many adorable items??? This collection is beautiful! If I picked ONE outfit for my little girl, it would be the cookie tank top with the raven skirt and happy leggings. And I am so with you on Sayid! ๐Ÿ˜‰

JT - February 10, 2010 - 4:55 pm

I just love them all. They are so beautiful and remind me of spring and warm places. I really hope that it will come soon. I am sitting in a Blizzard in the mountains with subzero wind chills. Looking at Hammond Bay warms me up. I completed my wish list today. It was way too long. My favorite for my 6 year old is the Wendy Tiered and Happy Leggings. The butterbee is my favorite for my 2 year old. Looking forward to the premier this weekend!

Sally Escuin - February 10, 2010 - 4:53 pm

I’m sure you have heard this too much already, but everything is absolutely stunning. If I must chose my favorite I really love the Skye Knot Top with the Marine Straightees. The outfit is so cleverly put together. It’s perfect for my spunky girlie!

JoAnne J. - February 10, 2010 - 4:52 pm

Oh I really love this line…THe must haves for me? The raven skirt and dance tee…what child doesnt want to twirl all day to that? And then I am loving the Molly….but I always love the mollys…so perfect for all year. I havent been able to buy in so long, and I cant wait to be able to have just a few pieces…
Oh, and I may be able to make the Art Fair this summer…so excited. We are moving from Mississippi to Alaska in June, and we are driving (6000 miles…YIKES), maybe we can make a detour to MJ? Its not TOO far out of the way is it? ๐Ÿ˜€

Rachel Loomis - February 10, 2010 - 4:52 pm

My vote is definitely for the Raven Skirt and the Cookie Tee. I absolutely love your designs and truly appreciate your great talent, Denise! As a fellow seamstress, I can see the love and commitment in all that you do. Although I do some sewing also, I’m so excited that I’ve been invited to my 1st MJC trunk show this month…two actually, and can hardlly wait to put my babes in some of your handy work! What fun for me!!! Congratulations on a really fabulous Spring Line!

Kendall Lilly's Mama - February 10, 2010 - 4:50 pm

Love, love, love everything:) My ultimate fav is the not yet released sunny dress (in the pic with the HB hat). I showed my hubby the pics a few weeks ago and he said “My little girl NEEDS that dress!” Absolutely adore the pearl lap dress, skye knot top, and marine straightees. Love the blues and greens – what a beautiful collection! Cant’t wait to place my order:)

Erin - February 10, 2010 - 4:47 pm

I A.D.O.R.E. the Skye knot top. I can’t even stand thinking about how much my girl will love that mesh ruffle.

catherine s. - February 10, 2010 - 4:46 pm

My favs are a combo of all the FANTABULOUS photography with the line reveal!!! O.M.Goodness.

The outfit that I think is just fantastic is:
1) Cookie Tank Top – LOVING the details. Oh, the details.
2) Raven Skirt (best.skirt.ever)
3) Mossy Willow Cardi – this color is just sweet.

with or without
4) Happy Leggings – they are just sooo happy!

catherine s.

Sarah - February 10, 2010 - 4:44 pm

Melissa Scamuffa - February 10, 2010 - 4:44 pm

I love the Wendy Dress and Happy Leggings!! It is just so bright and colorful!!

Amy Evans - February 10, 2010 - 4:43 pm

SO excited to read about 435. It was a highlight of last year for me!
Ive been waiting to hear news so I can start planning.
OH and for my oldest daughter, I LOVE the Molly skirt/Cookie tank!

*TKJT* - February 10, 2010 - 4:39 pm

I love reading what everyone loves as I’m sure you do. I can’t pick one…for my youngest daughter the wendy & happy leggings. My oldest daughter the raven skirt & DYS tank and for ME (haha) – The capris & cardigan…what shoes is Kayla wearing??!! Please tell… ๐Ÿ˜‰

My DH and I have 6 episodes of lost on the DVR to still watch. We never get time together without kids around yapping our heads off LOL

Oh how I wish I could make it to 435…someday…

Michelle - February 10, 2010 - 4:36 pm

My favorite is the Pepper Knot dress with the Kimmie straightees, LOVE!!

Elizabeth - February 10, 2010 - 4:34 pm

OMG! How to pick just one outfit, when it is all so CUTE!! My absolute fave is the stew ruffles with the cookie tank — my girl will live in that outfit all summer long!!

Sara - February 10, 2010 - 4:32 pm

for adults I love the cher dress!

Tristen - February 10, 2010 - 4:31 pm

I’m super excited for this line!!! My cute little Tayan turned 3 this week and we love the Wendy-tiered dress and Happy leggings. The Happy leggings make me happy too!

AnaA - February 10, 2010 - 4:26 pm

My favorite outfit?!? Oh geesh…how about 15 favorite outfits? This collection is AMAZING and I love it all. Okay….narrowing it down to one….hmmmmm….
Let me stall a bit and comment on Sayid. Is “Sayid” really alive or is he alive in the manner that John Locke is alive? I found it very interesting – he “rose” on the 3rd day and when he was brought out of the water – hard to miss the Jesus reference there. And poor Sawyer…man…he really loved Juliet. And Kate realizing just how much he did love her. Great scene!!!
Okay…enough stalling….my favorite combo is going to have to be the Wendy Tiered dress with the Sprite leggings and the Whitney woven head band. Yes…that is my final answer (and yes, I did change it about 6 times before I decided THIS would be my favorite).

Stacy - February 10, 2010 - 4:25 pm

Wow, it is so hard to pick a favorite, I love it all. One of my favorite have to have outifts is the Perry Big Ruffles and Cookie Tank and ofcourse have to have the Mossy Willow for those cooler nights. The Hammond Bay Collection is beautiful, great colors!!

Vanessa - February 10, 2010 - 4:23 pm

I love the Adult at the Fair Skirt, love, love the Natalie skirt and Beverly’s Argyle Socks! Love ’em!

Sharon - February 10, 2010 - 4:22 pm

I thought you were asking which is our fav picture and I was having the hardest time! Then I re-read and I realized you were asking for which is our fav outfit! JUST AS HARD!!!!! MAN! I’m going to have to say the raven skirt and the Dance Your self Silly Tank! That has my Jane’s name all over it!!! But, then so does the Sky Knot Top with the Marine Strighttee’s.. and the Pearl Lap dress is adorable! And then… my list goes on and on and on!!!!

anastasia - February 10, 2010 - 4:21 pm

i love HB! and my favorite outfit is Cookie tank plus Raven skirt ๐Ÿ™‚

Kathryn - February 10, 2010 - 4:19 pm

Favorites in no particular order

1. Cookie Tank
2. Pearl Lap Dress(although I don’t see it in Tween)
3. Sprite leggings

There is a dress in a photo for the Hammond Bay hat, but can’t find the dress listed. If I could, it would be my number 1.

Love everything!

Cheryl - February 10, 2010 - 4:18 pm

SOOOO difficult to pick a favorite, I’m pretty sure I need the entire line! But, you gotta start somewhere, so I’d say the Wendy tiered dress and the Sprite leggings would be a good start!!

Shelley - February 10, 2010 - 4:18 pm

I love these pictures…what an amazingly talented photographer! My favorite outfit is the dance yourself silly shirt…and raven skirt….WOW! It is however hard to pick favorites when it comes to these clothes…right ladies?

Maria Wood - February 10, 2010 - 4:16 pm

I seriously don’t think I can settle on just one outfit! But if I must I am going to go with the Raven skirt and the Dance yourself silly tank. So stinkin cute!

I am actually having my trunk show next weekend and can hardly wait. This is such a cute line! I can’t wait to see my little girl “dancing herself silly”!

Thanks so much!

Mary - February 10, 2010 - 4:14 pm

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Dance Yourself Silly Tank and Raven Skirt! Gotta have ’em…pure love! Oh, and the Hello Shorties…I mean, OH.MY.GOLLY! How cute are those?!?! Thanks, Denise, for stayin’ up and loading the pix for us all. On Friday I am driving 1 1/2 hours EACH WAY to my lovely TK’s house just so that I can get my hands on the goodies and see them in person! LOL I am either committed to MJC or should BE committed! ;o)

Emily - February 10, 2010 - 4:13 pm

I just absolutely LOVE this whole collection- FABULOUS!!!! Pick a favorite? It is very hard- what’s not to love? The Wendy Tiered Dress is at the top of our list- so darling and the colors are gorgeous.

Melody in Arizona - February 10, 2010 - 4:12 pm

I am in love with the Hello Shortie’s. We are always on the look out for cool looking hot weather clothes!

I’m also rather fond of Oh Molly and Daphnie Stew..yes they are on my wishlist and a must purchase along with the Cookie tank.

Jen - February 10, 2010 - 4:06 pm

No contest, my favorite outfit is the Raven skirt and the Dance Yourself Silly tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew from the second I saw this set in the early release pictures that I *had* to have this for my 4 year-old, Caroline. It, esp. the saying on the tank, just suits her to a tee. She likes to pretend she’s Pink or Katy Perry and sing and dance around the kitchen when we’re making dinner every night. I can totally picture her rocking it in this outfit ๐Ÿ™‚

Meghan - February 10, 2010 - 4:06 pm

I’m LOVING the new line! My faves are the DYS tank and the Raven skirt, but I am also loving the Lindey Linen ruffles, love the texture!! Oh and also diggin the boyfriend cardigan, trying to pass on the love of cardigans to my daughter ๐Ÿ™‚

Lindy - February 10, 2010 - 4:02 pm

I discovered Matilda Jane about 2 years ago & whenever my little girl where’s the outfits……..without fail, everytime somebody says how darling etc etc just gushing over the absolute darlingness of the clothes. I must agree and wish I could take more credit for them other than I just bought them!!! I already have my plans to attend a hammond bay trunk show next wed. here in SLC, UT!!! Can’t wait~ I have already warned my husband that there WILL BE a major dent in the checking account Wednesday night after ordering all of the lovelies on my wish list!!! Thanks for creating this line~

My favorite outfit is the cookie tank with the Perry big ruffles and the mossy willow. It is 3 versatile pieces that will go with so many of the other pieces. The blue buttons just pop and pair great with the ruffles and will go great with my daughter’s bright blue eyes:). Love all the new pieces of Hammond Bay!!

Lauren Burnham - February 10, 2010 - 3:58 pm

If I had to pick one favorite outfit, it would be:

I must say the one that caught my attention first was the Wendy Tiered Dress with the Sprite Legging. I love all the green! I also love how my most favorite piece from Sparkletown is the bottom fabric in that dress!!! I would even try the Marine Straightee legs under that dress…I think the blues would look AMAZING together! I can’t wait until the trunk show:)

tina - February 10, 2010 - 3:16 pm

Love the Wendy tiered dress and the Tanna linen!! Of course, I am from the deep south and we southern girls LOVE our linen! Nobody seems to make it for little ones though. boo!

Victoria Aaron - February 10, 2010 - 3:10 pm

The Adult Willow Cardigan with the Ruffle Pants is one of my favorites yet. I am thinking this would make the BEST Easter outfit with some cute sandals. I missed out on the cardigan from the winter season and was so disappointed. My size sold out quickly. I can’t wait to attend the show next week in Russell Springs Kentucky. I hope to just have enough money to buy all I want LOL!!
