The time has come….

And I feel like screaming from the roof top “We are leaving for Africa tomorrow.” As excited as we are though, I know there are 11 women in Rwanda who have us beat. I sure do hope they like hugs, cause I am so excited to meet them. I wanted to keep this short and sweet today. One reason being that I tend to get a little sappy with things like this, but more important because I think this video says it all.

SO excited that you all are supporting this. My daughter is adopted from Rwanda – it’s a gorgeous country, and it will FOREVER change you. We are always looking to give back to the country that gave us our greatest blessing. I’m proud to support Matilda Jane!

yay! this is so awesome! i am a noonday ambassador and a Matilda Jane Clothing fan! I love how God put these two ventures together! And how it will benefit families and women halfway around the world! I have not been to Africa, yet, but my husband and other family members and friends have, the one common comment i hear over and over is about how it impacts you, never be the same! enjoy.

We lived in Uganda for a year and if I could I would move back this minute. Africa has my heart forever. Enjoy, soak and share those hugs. Beautiful, beautiful people. They change you. The red dirt roads forever changed me.

P.S.- I sent you a teensy email and I do hope you get a chance to read it before you head across the ocean.
