To Conquer

And the Season is off! Wow, that was fast, like super quick and all of a sudden I show up to work and there are so many cars, and so many girls!  I went in today to meet up with the fabric guy (ha, like we need to order more fabric)  and I had to run in the back for a second, I was so nervous. I’m like “Sam, how do I get back there without anyone seeing me?” Seriously, I have this phobia of too many people, especially ones I don’t know. It intimidates me. Ha, I know… but I get all nervous, don’t know what to say, then say something goofy and totally look like the dork I am. Ya, I’m much better off  just sitting in Sam’s office where I can hide out and even better, staying home where I can completely be invisible.Yes, I’m working on this. By weeks end I’ll know everyone by name. Gosh, I can’t believe I just said that, now I am super nervous!

I read FB alot but I can’t get a definite feeling on what is the ONE FAVORITE piece. So leave me a comment. Curious minds want to know. Just one piece, not 2, not 3, just one.

SIDE NOTE: We took the boys skiing for the first time this weekend. It was crazy fun. Gabe has about mastered it. He always does, no surprise, he has great balance and will not stop until he is perfect. After 6 hours of skiing Saturday, he cried and cried when it was time to leave.  He was so cute as he was sobbing, “But I’ve been here all day, I have to stay all night. Why can’t we  move here? I’m gonna buy a house and never leave.” Joe struggled a bit a skiing, well  a lot. So we got him set up with snowboarding and you know what, I am quite confident as is he, that he will master it by seasons end. The tow rope is a challenge, well, actually not even doable, and the chair lift freaks me out a bit so for now I’m making him walk up the hill. Next weekend we’ll see what happens.  But overall, it was so much fun to take a quick break from a never ending schedule to hang out with the boys and some great friends.

LOL- BTW somewhere among all this food you have got to add a Candied apple.. NO, not Caramel- (well) ok a caramel Apple for those lovers to but the one thing I love so much about going to fairs or to Dollywood are the Candied apples – Sure those funnel cakes are yummy to but if I get my candy apple (i have got my fix and I am one happy mamma)

I will keep this short! I love your stuff and have since the moment I received my first piece. A friend of mine and I have an idea for your company. We were going to branch out on our own but neither of us have the means to produce and I have four small children. I’m sure your team may have already thought of this but….you never know. We thought it would be interesting if you had travel gear, school gear and purses for children. Sort of like a childrens line of (Vera Bradley) stuff. There is really nothing like it out there. I think it could be great!! Anyway thank you for letting me share.

Tough to decide, but the Pixie tank. It is so sweet and unique!

As for the snow sports, I have been meaning to take my five for years. It is so sad, there is a ski slope 20 minutes from us, but I seem to never have the time or money. When I was young, I was skiing all the time! At least I have the excuse of unseasonably warm weather on my side this year-not many good ski days;)
Have Fun!

Really just one?….peaches & cream!!!!

mary bley - February 6, 2012 - 7:32 pm

Hi i dont know what i like best until my order comes in – i just wanted to say please please bring back the bigger sizes. there were very few peices to purchase for 10 and 12, esp since the tanks ran small. why didnt the mandy top come in a bigger size? there were a lot of cute things but not enough for the 10’s and 12’s. some of things that did come in a 12 like the gingham sweatshirt were too babyish. i hope you have the right people in sales and marketing to know what your customers want. my virtual party wasnt that successful because we couldnt find our sizes and the JE’s didnt have anything for me to select from. thanks for listening. Mary

Heather Holt - February 6, 2012 - 7:26 pm

I have a difficult time picking one piece from any collection that is my favorite on my daughter. The fabrics, the details, her beautiful blue eyes…everything is enchanting.
Sometimes it’s hard for me to feel “cool” or “hip” enough to rock the momma pieces, so I have to say it was AMAZING when I put on the Salsa dress and just floated around in it! I loved the way the fabric melted over my those curves that you sometimes want to disguise and accentuated those that you rarely feel shine. Ahem…anyway, thank you. It’s a beautiful piece that I think oozes “summatime”!

momTo2Girls - February 6, 2012 - 7:25 pm

I have two girls (and a boy) and I <3 so many of the girl peices that I can't choose just one of those, so I choose for myself for once! lol! I seriously think this is my fav line so far!

Definitely my favorite piece so far is the Love Me dress. It was such a surprise love in real life. Not only is it a totally unexpected style from you gals, it just screams innocence and sweetness, 2 things my lil girl definitely is……well most the time 😉

Amanda H. - February 6, 2012 - 6:03 pm

Well I’m pretty sure it’s going to be the skirt in that pic…holy cow! But for the first release it was definitely the Aquamarines…which unfortunately sold out before my order was placed.
