Your order…coming right up!

It may only be a little over a week into 2014, but it seems safe to say that the word of the year might just be “busy!”  Of course we’ve got other words to keep it company, like “exciting,” “full,” and of course, “wonderful!”

Let’s take a look at what has been on the agenda these days:

It’s a Wonderful Parade – Putting the finishing touches on the tail-end of this collection has been on the plates of our design department gals. So many good things to come in every release…we’re brimming with excitement to be able to share it with you oh-so-soon!

In addition to this, our graphic design team and marketing department have been hard at work polishing the D-ring catalog.  This line has such a strong story and we always want to have the right tools for telling it to you. From the clothing to these pages, we’re sure you’ll be WOW-ed at your very first Trunk Show of the season!

Dress Rehearsal – In just a week, gatherings will be happening in Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, and California to get our TKs all brought up to speed on what It’s a Wonderful Parade holds! And after that…well, you know the drill. They’ll be all pumped up to bring it into your living rooms and make the line come alive!

Snow, snow snow! – Okay, so needless to say, this was NOT on the agenda, but earlier this week Fort Wayne was hit with a bit of a blizzard. On Monday our home office was closed due to severe weather and cold in the area…great for cozying up at home, but not so great for getting to all of our urgent “to-dos.”

Speaking of, what has been on the top of our to-do lists lately is getting all of your Purchase with a Purpose orders out. We’ve been working overtime and even bringing in some fresh, new faces to help out around here–doing the best we can to make sure you are still smiling when your package lands on your doorstep!  The wait can be trying, and we more than appreciate your patience.

Luckily a brand new outfit is always worth the wait, no?

Our customer service gals have been receiving floods of calls and emails about when your goodies will be arriving. We love to chat with you, of course, but just in case you’re having trouble getting through, we wanted to make an announcement that will clear up your questions about order fulfillment.

We expect orders placed on December 26 through December 31 to be processed and shipped by January 10 through January 16.  Please allow 1 to 4 days for additional shipping time.

We were overwhelmed by the response to the sale in the best possible way, and we can assure you that your dollars and cents are being put to good use, helping something bigger than all of us: The Mighty Acorn Foundation.

Thanks again for your patience, and for participating in Purchase with a Purpose.

Be sure to stay tuned to the blog and Facebook…you never know when more spring surprises may pop up. 😉

As a mom who isn’t into “girly” things and always battling clothes with all my girls- I have to say MJC is the only brand we NEVER have to fight about. So naturally my wonderful daughters are who reminds me of Matilda Jane. They share the same gender but are so night and day when it comes to their personalities. How much fun is that for me?;) But at the end of the day, wait… Rather at the start of our day- when we are wearing our Matilda Jane clothes, we share a common love of life but in our so different and unique ways. We are MJC! 🙂

This is my Anabelle, my fireball; the love of my life! Since the day she blessed her father, brother, and I with her presence she has brought more color to our lives, made the air sweeter, and given us more joy than we ever thought possible! She encompasses everything that is sweet, innocent, and spunky in one tiny package. That is what Matilda Jane is to us; it’s a breath of fresh air in a world of monotony with beautiful colors and designs that make the sweet little people who wear it that much sweeter! It can be summed up with my favorite quote from William Shakespeare, “Though she be but little, she is fierce!” Thank you so much for helping to make our lives that much brighter Denise and staff!

This is our 6 yo Charlotte Anne, her name means “Strong woman of grace and favor”. I looked up the meaning of Matilda Jane and found that it means “Mighty in battle, Gods gracious gift”. We had no idea when we held her as a tiny babe how much she’d live up to her name. Test it. It’s proven true over and over as she’s walked through difficulty, we always know she’s going to be okay. Just like Matilda Jane her spunk, love for life, joy and kindness see her through and inspire others. ❤️
