Who doesn't love a compliment?

It makes your day, all day. That is what I want Matilda Jane Clothing
to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she
is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want Matilda Jane to
showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes
simple for that reason, it’s not about the fancy embroidery, it is
about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight
with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her
to be happy! And that is it.

Oh, and so much  more goodness in those boxes. I really did save EVERYTHING…I found a box of old fingernails (yes, the real things, not Lee Press On’s), all my swatch watches, notes from highschool, perfume bottles, all my old make-up, at least 50+ coke bottles, and my prized trolls. Oh, and 4 tubs of Happy Meal Toys. We were very selective too, only McDonald’s.

I once worked for Coca Cola. At the interview the guy asked why I’d want to work there, I replied ” Why would you work for Burger King when you could work for McDonald’s? ” I got the job.

Ya’ll need to come to 435 so we can have a big party at my house..so excited…

I am so sad that I do not have even 1 item from the Hammond Bay collection yet. I look on this site tons of times a day just wishing. I have been having some health issues lately and just looking at the clothing makes me happy.

March 2, 2010 - 8:13 pm a lovell - OK, now I'm just irritated with myself for leaving that yucky comment...please remove it, if you can...I was just complaining and negative, and to the wrong people at that. You are always so generous to your blog readers and your blog readers (i.e. Me) should have enough sense to return the favor by not leaving negative comments. I'm sure I will have lot of possitive things to say when my Hammond Bay order comes in and I see all the cute things I DID get before they sold out. Again, I appologize for that prior comment.

The raven skirt is one of the best ever and the pepper knot dress is like having 2 dresses for the price of 1. March 2, 2010 - 5:22 am carla smith - awe i love finding old memories in a box! i have all my original 1980's strawberry shortcake dolls in my treasure box, along with prom glasses, a trophy from a 3rd grade spelling bee, a van halen tee shirt that my friends signed, my girlscout sash, and an arrowhead necklace that a sweet boy sent to me in the 5th grade....now that sweet boy lived in OR me in NH....we met while rollerskating in olympia WA over xmas break 1983. we wrote letters to each other for 2 years (i have those too)sadly as we grew older the letters became fewer and farther inbetween....now 25 years later he friended me on facebook. it prompted me dig out that old tresure box and share it with my girls. nothing sweeter than getting to share my old memories, and laughing with dh that i have a boyfriend as technically we never broke up

Just found 2 old Swatch watches (white one with a blue polka dot face and the greenish see -thru one)with some old jewelery a few weeks ago. I still have boxes of notes from grade school-all folded funky so no one saw what you wrote. I would never give up my keychain collection and my sticker collection. Talk about feeling old!!!!

Apparently you just need to have a garage sale so I can come buy yours. ha ha ha... Seriously though I am going to find a swatch watch today. I LOVED those when I was a kid...and the trolls...they are SO ugly they are cute. I never did have very many but I thought they were awesome. I used to carry one in my backpack at school.
