This boy is quite the character. I think he asked at least 50+ questions a day. I’m not sure if it’s cuz Joe didn’t talk til really late that I never noticed kids asking questions. But I kinda like it…it cracks me up
I woke up this morning to him asking me questions. It went like this in our brief 5 minutes of cuddling.
His Q: Why do people live in houses? Do we have to have houses? My A: Not everyone lives in a house, some live in teepees or on boats. But we need to live in something so we don’t get wet form the rain or cold form the snow. His Q: Why can’t we all live in hotels? they are much bigger.
His Q: Are there really, really big boats? My A: Yup, huge boats, bigger than our house. His Q: Could one shark pick it up? My A: Nope, it would be way too big. His Q: If all the sharks in the ocean picked it up could they?
His Q: Do you have to love everyone. My A: Yup. His Q: Even old men. My A: Yup. His Q: Even really, really old men? My A: Yup. His Q: Even really, really old men in wheelchairs?

Out of the mouth’s of babes! So cute
He cracks me up!
Love that pic of him too!
Sounds like my little buddy. Every morning before school it’s non-stop questions…and really hilarious ones. Sometimes I stop and think….wow, where does this kid come up with this stuff. It’s a great start to my day. Todays subject matter was Volcanos and Lava. “So if you touch lava is that hotter than a light bulb?” “So will your finger melt off if you touch lava?”
Oh how I love that little boy!! That picture is one of my favorites, I have it saved everywhere. It made me smile again this morning. Look at that little mouth.
Missing you guys.
Take care.
I had to start keeping a journal of my son’s questions so that I wouldn’t forget how cute they were. Sometimes though they ask the real stumpers that we have to go look up or call my dad, he has lots of answers.
we started keeping track of the funny things our kids say since the early stages of talking…..here is an example….from my 4yo dd, Lily-Dad..sometimes when i am on your shoulders, im not licking you, but you taste like salt…and salt is good…..lol….kids are just plain funny!
So funny…my daughter is home sick today (kindergartener :)) and she was just asking me about sharks! She said she really wanted to see a real shark and do they eat people? And if they do can you come back out after they eat you? Ha! I love the minds of little ones! Always turning!
I love how their little precious minds work! I try to remember that when they are all trying to ask me questions at once! Gabe just keeps getting more & more adorable!
Such a cutie pie!
What a great way to start the day!
He and my daughter would get along GREAT – they could probably talk to each other for hours and we could go to McDonald’s for a Coke! LOL! She sometimes (maybe more like all of the time) wears me out with her questions – this morning she wanted to know all about bananas and how they get bruises on them…
So funny! That is my life too. Answering a bazillion questions a day. It is the best though, isn’t it?!?!?
Love him! I’m still laughing from the “even really really old men?” My dd (kindergartner)is full of wonderful questions too:)
I am still smiling. He just sums up all that is boyish and sweet. I wish I could’ve jarred it up from when my son was little and save it for a rainy day or for the times I miss him being cuddly and small. Time flies when you are having fun. Thank goodness the memories are forever.
PRECIOUS!!!
Love it! That sounds like converstations that I have with my son! Don’t you just love it though, they are learning as they are talking to us. Ahh…so very sweet!

Love it!
That just might be my favorite pic of the Beast to date!!! Killin’ ME!!! and love his inquiring mind… hey! Gotta know. Want more rapping vids!!! he-he
xo
Very cute! Sometimes my 5 year old is like that. It can be exhausting at times but so very cute and I love that he is always thinking and trying to figure everything out! Maybe we have future engineers on our hands!
pee.ess. Grace and Claire make the cutest pair!!!! MUAH!
Man I love that boy…tell him is has to love Stella too!
Yay, it’s my Claire Bear’s blog debut =)!!! And I kinda sorta miss the million questions stage…
What a little cutie! I am cracking up at Gabe’s questions. It reminds me of when my boys were little. They were more of the question askers, while Whitley Kate tends to “tell it like it is” and crack us up. They sure are blessings!
He’s SO cute! Something about him reminds me of my 5 year old. Maybe it’s the eyes
