Nothing is better than getting to look at new pieces. While all you guys get to see Collection Two, Sam and I got to fall in love with some amazing adult pieces for Spring. Then we start uploading all these new pics to the site and we fall in love with Field Trip all over again. Now there is one piece in Collection Two that Sam designed by herself. It was quite simple. We were all in Florida for the Hammond Bay shoot last January, and found out we had a ton of yardage left of the blue floral (I call it spider flower, for no real reason, but don’t tell your little girls that!) So I looked at Sam and said “What can you do with all this fabric?” It was fun to watch her in action as she was beyond nervous. It is one thing to make items for Platinum but to make items for production is quite different. I’m sure she felt it, as I do, but there is a sense of risk. Afterall, it has to be pretty dang cute or we’re gonna end up with a ton of back stock. Well, I think Sam has no worries on that cuz the SAMANTHA pants are fantastic.
And lastly, as we all know David always has a say in what he thinks will be a great seller and what will not. Yes, we do have a few bets around here. We’re very serious about business but always have a bit of time for some nonsense. And David is usually full of it. It always goes like this, “Yes, yes, no, yes, maybe..no way..yes, yes, and what the heck no one will buy that.” We all roll our eyes at him and laugh it off cuz this little number below is a sure hit. It is called the London Lap dress and his “What the heck no one will buy that” comment is so far wrong. You know boys, well husbands for that matter! Always wrong LOL!!!
Tell Sam those pants are beyond fabulous – they are gorgeous…and we need to get a Trunk Keeper in Hawaii
or just come have a traveling show here!

I love the London because it is so fun and different AND it comes in 12 month!! Yay!!! It looks REALLY soft, too! Besides all of that…it is PRECIOUS!!!:) LOVE.IT….definitely one of my must-haves! Wish the Samantha pants came in 12 month, but I may order a 2 for later..because I NEED them!! Ha! Love it ALL…y’all are so creative…

He’s wrong. The LONDON has been my #1 MUST have and the only thing I can get this time around (glares again at dirt where money tree should have sprouted). I shouldn’t, but I CAN NOT resist this dress!!

Sam did an amazing job on those pants, one of my favorite things. I actually want it ALL and then some, however I don’t want a divorce so I will be choosing and narrowing down my selection. I can not wait to see it all in person.

The London Lap Dress is at the top of our list. My daughter loves cars…. and her daddy saw it and said “she has to have that since she visited London this summer for the first time”. Next summer we are going to China, so if your line could have a chinese theme, I’m sure I’d get dad’s go ahead to buy the whole line. Hah!

I love anything with cars on it–the Auto Love Ruffles are also a favorite in our house.

Oh Sam I forgot to say I LOVE THE SAMANTHA PANTS also. THANKS FOR THE GREAT IDEA. I am such a MJ ADDICT. My husband has given up on me cutting back. He says “if it makes you happy”. Great hubby huh!!

I have always tried to not wish days away as they go to quickly already but since Matilda Jane has come into my life through Kiara I wish that spring and fall would come quickly so that I can order new adult items!!! Just wanted to say how wonderful it was of you to do the back to school contest! My nominee didn’t win, but a friend of mine- who has been struggling financially since her husband passed away a few years back- entered her daughter and she won!! I just wanted to tell you all at MJC that I was screaming in the halls of my school today. My kindergaren class was walking in the hall when we passed another kindergarten class. In my friends line was a beautiful little girl wearing Matilda Jane. I had to give the precious little thing a shout out and tell her how much I love her dress and Matilda Jane. It made my day. See looked at me like I was CRAZY!!!! but she loved the attention.
