I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
Awwww! How cute! Love the colors and adorable girls! The pictures of the little girl taking pictures is soooo cute!
In LOVE and inspired!! Thanks for sharing
Love these pictures! Soo ready for spring weather!
These photos are gorgeous, and truly capture the whimsical essence of Matilda Jane!
Wow! Those colors are really amazing- I’ve just fallen in love with It’s a Wonderful Parade, seriously one of my favorite lines. Mallory Buck did a beautiful job of capturing all of the vibrant happiness of MJ
I love all the colors. Colors seem to lift me up on these cold, dreary Michigan days. So ready for Spring, but for now all this colorful whimsy will do the trick. =)
So beautiful!
These are amazing pictures of a line that is sure to be one of the favorites of all time. I so enjoyed looking at them.
Love these pics and the Wonderful Parade Collection! I’m so thankful that we’re through March and maybe, just maybe, we wear all these amazing capri pants here in the Midwest. I have purchased every single pair from this collection—swoon!
These shots are pure perfection. They DO capture the innocence that each MJ loving Mama craves for her baby…to somehow scoop up the naive giggles and lust for life and put them in a bottle to keep forever. Thank you for making clothing that enables us to do just that, if only for a moment. Also, thank you to Mallory Buck for representing with your craft what Matilda Jane means to so many of us. <3
love!!!
These photos are absolutely adorable!! They are fantastic!!

I love these photos! We went to Art Fair last year. After travelling across the country and getting there late due to some traffic, we made it just in time for a caricature before it was time to call it a night. I must have sat it down as we were in awe over the very fancy bathrooms (really). I realized it as soon as we got to the hotel. We went back and searched everywhere…tables, grounds, bathrooms, dumpsters. Yep. Dumpsters. We never found it, but at least I had a picture of the caricature being drawn to remember the occasion! And what made me post this…you wouldn’t believe how much ribbon there was. Each piece of discarded ribbon was like a little treasure. Lol. I’ve been planning some similar shots with the ribbons although they would never come close to being this beautiful! I love your photos MB!
