Am I like 20 years behind or what? Wow. I had really thought this week would slow down. Ha, guess again. So excited we got the last of the sale orders pulled, now they just need to be packed and shipped. That should happen Tuesday at the absolute latest. Absolute.
So today was crazy. We wanted to get all the pulling done so we got in super early and hit our goal around 2:00. We then moved all the shelves, did deep cleaning, and are now onto counting every single thing in that building. Everything. But hey, the sale was better than we anticipated and I think we are gonna get A/C. So excited. Dang we are gonna be cool. And warm. Cuz you may not know, for how hot that building is in the summer it is that cold in the winter. It is super old and has been empty for…I’m thinking 20 years.
So things are changing up at MJC…oh and it is gonna be good. Yup, we are even getting 2 more girls to answer phones and assist with customer service. Yup, we are shifting girls around a bit. So I guess that is why I have been ignoring my blog, ha and email. Hiring, ordering stickers and treats, inventory, cleaning, the team is going on a field trip to get something….(guess what…and if you can guess, which you probably won’t I’ll give you 250 bucks in MJC), and oh my gosh, I need to take my drivers test so I don’t lose my license like by August 8..Dang..dang…

Wish I had a great idea of where you are headed for a field trip, but at this point in the game most great answers have been taken. Whatever & whereever, I hope it will be a great time! You all deserve it with the hard work and dedication you have shown over the last few weeks. Last week in Northern Wisconsin we had a terrible hail storm. My house was hit hard- we need a new roof, gutters, facia, windows, garage doors, siding & front door! In the middle of my husband & the insurance assessor assessing the damage- who drives down the driveway, but the UPS man! I started jumping up & down, dancing & sceaming- the insurance man looked at me like I was crazy & my husband said, “It must be another Matilda Jane package!” The insurance man then said, “whatever it is must be something really good. I’ve never seen anyone get so excited when their house has this much damage.”

Then you all are going to design a MJ shirt for an upcoming Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in support of Chelsa. Finally, you will surprise Chelsa with her shirt and all sign up to Avon Walk the walk for Chelsa. After than you all will sit by the pool, cook out, drink some tasty drinks and relax before the new line releases and its back to chaos. Enjoy the weekend.

I HOPE you are going to get some batting/supplies so that you can start making some awesome bedding for all of us MJC addicts! My little girl NEEDS some awesome bedding so that I will be motivated to create her “big girl room.” I saw someone suggest this on facebook and the reply that said it’s in your brain. Now, I have quit looking for bedding, in hopes that you will design some SOON. Just a simple duvet cover and shams with those gorgeous fabrics of yours would be awesome!!
