Amost Summer

The website calls  it  Almost Summer. I call it Summer Simplicity or Summer Necessities. You know the simple pieces. The staples in your closet. The clothes your little ones grab for day after day. The pieces they beg to wear to sleep. The pieces they wake up in and push you till you let them continue to wear them all day. The simple and soft tees, dresses and bottoms that you must sneak out of their room to wash.

I love these pieces. I love that Gabe only fights with me when I tell him he has to change for just a few hours so I can wash his 2 day worn outfit.  It’s all about keeping it simple and keeping them young.

So it is Almost Summer and it is time to stock up on the the Simple Things.

I was so excited and then so sad – i sent my order to the trunkkeeper within 5 minutes after the items were posted on the site and three of the four were no longer available. It is such a rollercoaster I am thrilled to be a part of, but I rarely get to ride it. :( Will keep trying because I love your stuff!

Oh I love hearing about other children wanting to wear the same outfit day after day. Amelia and I were “stuck” in San Francisco over spring break and didn’t have enough clothes packed. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to SHOP. Amelia just wanted to wear the Gypsy Blue Sally dress(?) The blue one with the pink roses all over and the bib. She climbed trees in Muir Woods, swung from light poles in Chinatown, and braved the artic wind on the ferry in the dress…and always with a smile. It was so comfortable that she could keep on going and not worry about anything but playing and eating.

Kinda stinks that us Full time working Mom’s don’t get a chance at your items, i.e. Almost Summer. Things are s/o before we even get home from work. I bet if you tried to buy your own products you wouldn’t even be able to ; )

Yay! I’m sooo excited! I was up at 5am doing disney dining reservations this morning when I caught wind of a BIG new thing happening between 8-9 my time. Yahoo! So glad I was able to get all the pieces I wanted. You are incredible! LOVE IT!

Thanks for the staples! My dd loves the pink lap dress and parallel leggins with flare! We sooo needed shorties! DD will only wear dresses now, so shorties are a must! We weren’t lucky enough to grab the Cecilia shorties or Sweetness Shorties. Crossing my fingers that we get these…I ordered one of each. Thanks again for making clothes that make me and dd smile and not fight when she gets dressed every day:)

Denise- Hannah is all about her simple comfortable things. I had to laugh about having Joe Change so you could wash his clothes. I had to do that with Hannah’s fleece jammies the other night. :-) She is such a lover of comfort and simplicity. I would love some simple things to come her way if this is a contest… lol… :-)
