Art Fair Mania!

Woah! It is really looking like summer here! The grass is getting green and growing VERY quickly. The flowers are in full bloom and the dandelions just started to sprout a few nights ago! We have had the doors open in the warehouse all week and we are all loving wearing our tank tops, sundresses, and sandals! It is amazing what a good dose of fresh air can do for the spirit! Unfortunately, though, it looks like it will be a cool, rainy weekend here in Fort Wayne. I am sure we will have some beautiful weekends to look forward to here pretty soon, though, and a gorgeous Indiana summer!

Carrie has been the pregnant superwoman today, getting everything accomplished that needs to be done and taking charge while Kiara is doing her thing in Africa! I cannot believe the stuff that she can do! Meanwhile, Melissa is learning how to cut, Patty is learning how to layer, and Emily has spent all day organizing the shelves and making them look b-e-a-u-tiful! It seems like there are new, fun jobs for everyone to accomplish. I spent an hour of the day just filling up 28 gallons of water the local grocery to use for the steamers to make all of the Art Fair dresses perfect! I must say, I did feel like a bit of a crazy person tooling around a grocery cart full of empty, and then full, water jugs. That is what makes life interesting, though, right?

We sent 7 people over to 435 to iron today! Each gal had a stack of 100 pieces that they were to finish ironing by the end of the day. That makes 700 pieces finished just today! It doesn’t seem to me that anyone should be worried about there not being enough pieces- looks like there are plenty to go around to me! I still haven’t been over to 435 because I have been here answering phones and finishing things up in the warehouse, but I am really looking forward to being able to go over and make even more progress happen!
