Q: Please tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from and where are you now?
A: I was born in the small town of Russellville Kentucky, but raised in the Nashville Tennessee area. I have one daughter and love the outdoors.
Q: Tell us about your beautiful baby girl.
A: Emma Lynn just turned 4 this summer and she is the most energetic, fun, loving, sweet, crazy, and funniest girl I know.

Q: What did you do in your previous life? Pre-Matilda Jane?
A: I went to college for Accounting and while in school I took up Bartending. Soon I realized that the service industry is where the money is at. lol I actually still bartend a few days a week (when not a shows of course).
Q: What is your favorite part of working for Matilda Jane?
A: Oh man.. I think it has to be the great friendships I have made along the way. My fellow up line trunk keeper is one of the best women I know (I secretly want to be like her minus the 5 kids lol) and the customers!!! I don’t think of them as customers they are more like new friends in the making.
Q: If you could wear one item every day, what would that be?
A: Finn pants of course. I will admit that on occasion I have slept in them and that new waist band is amazing, no wonder they are selling like hotcakes!!

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A: Hopefully still with MJC!! I also would love to meet Mr. Right and complete my little family.
Q: What are your favorite blogs or websites you visit EVERY day?
A: Will people throw rocks at me if I say I am not a blogger?? Of course I do love MJ’s blog and love love pinterest .

Q: Besides your children, what has your greatest accomplishment been thus far?
A: I think staying true to myself and not settling for second best. I have had many heart breaks, but know that God has a better plan for me and if I continue to do my best good things will come my way.
Q: Share with us just ONE very important thing you do to try to leave this world a better place.
A: Treating everyone with kindness and respect. My momma always told me to treat people the way you would like to be treated. I feel if you follow this the world would be a better place.
Q: What is your favorite holiday and why?
A: Thanksgiving.. I love getting together with family and the food is amazing.. I mean who doesn’t love to cheat during the holidays..

Q: How have you learned to balance life with the many, many hats you wear?
A: It’s very hard as a single mom, but I have a great family that supports and helps out. I mean some days I ask myself why I am doing all of this, but then look at my daughter and know that all my hard work is for her.
Q: What is the most valuable lesson you hope to instill in your children?
A: Hopefully I teach her many, but if she only takes in one I want her to live life to the fullest with no regrets and to be proud of herself.
Q: Salty or sweet?
A: Is it bad that I am not a sweet person?? I am more of a salty cashew and a sour candy kind of girl.

Q: What do you love most about having kids?
A: The free entertainment of course.. It’s never a dull moment I just can’t wait to hear what is going to come out of that sassy girl next.
Q: If you could have lunch with any celebrity, who would you choose and why?
A: Hmmm… Maybe Channing Tatum or David Beckham to see if the will have a shorties photo shoot for all of you MJC Look book fans..Lol

Q: If you could have Sam design any item for Matilda Jane, what would it be and why?
A: BEDDING… I would love to see what time of designs and patterns she can come up with, HOBO bags to match the regular line, and maybe swimsuits.. I’m not asking for a lot right??
Q: Lastly, in the spirit of Heart~Soul~Pride, what in your opinion is the most important form of character?
A: Honesty…
