Fort Wayne IS fun!

I know I’m not alone when I say that Art Fair is on my mind all the time these days.  And it’s no wonder–every time I walk through the warehouse I get distracted by a rack of new pretties.  Just when I think I’ve seen every piece already, something new will catch my eye.  Even though Art Fair preparations have been well under way for months now, it never really feels real and urgent until we start setting up grids.  I love the anticipation of it all.  I love the sense of teamwork around 435 right now (can you say ‘ironing races?!’).  I love the amount of personal attention that goes into creating every item.  And I love that in a matter of a few weeks, we get to share it with all of you!

While Art Fair is probably the main attraction bringing you to good ol’ Fort Wayne this summer, our city has plenty of other non-MJC forms of entertainment for you to enjoy during your stay.  We stumbled upon a link for this great visitor’s guide to Fort Wayne, so we thought we would make it available to all of you who might be new to our city!  You can check it out at:

Maybe dad would like to take the kids to the zoo while you load up on some art fair cuteness.  Or maybe the whole family would like to take a Sunday afternoon trip to our famous interactive museum Science Central (you’ll know it by the rainbow smokestacks on top of the building!).  Believe me when I say that we have restaurants galore in this town–your stomach is guaranteed to leave happy!  I can already hear Sam raving about the gouda dip at Club Soda!

Regardless of what you decide to add to your itinerary, we know you are all going to enjoy our beautiful little town!
