I’m really having a hard time blogging cuz when I look at the monitor I see my reflection. Like the kind of reflection where you can see every little wrinkle and flaw. This house is so dang bright and I have blinds it just doesn’t work out all that well, I guess. Maybe I should move my computer to David’s side of the room? Now that may be a good idea…
We are pretty excited about our fundraiser for Joe and Christy this weekend. And I know a lot of you want to help out. We will be taking orders through the office on Friday only. I totally did not expect so many of you to jump in to offer, I am so…in awe..speechless..just can’t think of a good word right now..THANK YOU. The office number is 260-424-3511.
I am so glad I blogged about it. David has been toying with the idea of setting up a Matilda Jane Foundation and I think you guys just helped him. Hmm..maybe we’ll see if we can get him to blog about it this weekend. You remember his blogs? He’s pretty funny, huh?
Oh, oh…(4 minutes later) I have been sitting here looking in the monitor at my wrinkles when I just realized why I sat down to blog…YOU. Yes, it’s time for a Mother’s Day Fiesta. Okay they may be cuter..but just a bit..a tiny bit. This is me with Stephanie and Andy, my neighbors. Loved these girls and still do. It could take years to tell all our stories.
And now I must get back to work. They are putting a new floor in the laundry room and I am sitting in the office trying to be super quiet so they don’t know I am here. I’m dumb like that but I never know what to do. It’s just weird, and I’m not saying they aren’t super nice cuz they are I just don’t know what to do. So I’ll hide out in here.

OK – So if you are “weird” for “hiding out” while someone is working on your house, then so am I. In my life prior to having Mom as my job description, I worked from a home office. The first year we were in our current house we pretty much did a make over on everything, which meant I was hiding out. When the basics were done, I think my husband was taking advantage of my home office days – so I told him I was going to send some guys to do some work on his office and see how much he liked it. Needless to say – the projects stopped. Have a Great Day. Absolutely love the fundraiser you are doing for your friends.
