I had intended to spend the day at work, doing what I’m not sure but I am certain it would have been something good! We are all waiting patiently for the 2nd shipment to finish filling the shelves. Anyday, last we heard it was in Kansas City. Yup, Kansas City? It is so crazy. Crazy that I see a photo that Iris emails me of her and the gang in China loading a semi truck, that same semi gets on a boat (well, they call it a container), it then goes on a train, then back on a semi. It shows up at 435 and we open it to find it exactly as shown in the photo Iris sent over 25 days ago. It is so weird I think.
But back to my day, okay 435′s day. Kiera and Vivien cut Platinum, Amber sewed button, Mackenzie and Anne ironed/folded, Sam and Michelle got Platinum photos taken and what not. Becki, Serlita, Lynette, Kayla and Alicia did what office girls do (look cute, spend endless hours on the phone and punching in stuff on the keyboard). David, Caleb and Kaycee, no clue but I am sure something of utmost importance and Chris and Renee painted at the little yellow house. So let’s hope that semi truck pulls in tomorrow so can get some serious schleping done…you know, the gritty work.
And me, I stayed home with Joe. I swear I knew he was faking sick when the school called. So we hung out and vacuumed, did laundry and wrote a book report. And I am still doing laundry.
And for all you PHOTO LOVE gals and boys….we were so overwhelmed by all the entries, we were closing in on 1000. It was pretty tough to narrow down to 50, okay I think we ended with 59! I really need to work on a way to send an email out to all entries. Yup, I’ll put this on David’s list to build an email address book. I couldn’t remember what he was doing at 435 today, so surely he will have time!! He he
Anyway, THANK YOU HUGE to all of you for participating. We have notified the final 59 who will receive the dress for ROUND TWO. Dresses will be shipped late this week.
Oh, and I hear lots of you visited Nest Pretty Things. I saw her stuff online when I was looking for House of Clouds accessories and instantly new it was a match. So pretty!
And I should add, because I have gotten a lot inquiries, that I love!!!, Joe’s Platinum bags will be up mid-February. They are really cute, a little smaller for kids and a cute little note. And honestly because I am more about donating the funds and he is more about his 2bucks form every bag, all he did today was tell me everything he was gonna buy his best friend, Noah. Yes, it ranged form an XBox to an iPod. I so wanna be Joe’s best friend! Ha, poor kid has no clue it is staying in the bank. I’ll wait till he has a better week to break the news to him..or else he’ll be home sick all week.

Love this post! I was doing laundry all day too and i went to the grocery store and spend so much money. I mean why are groceries so darn expensive? So crazy!!!! That is money I could have spent on House of Clouds. ;-( I should just feed my family cereal for the rest of the month then I could save for the cutest clothes in the whole wise world. And to think we had steak tonight…..how dare I spend that money on food! lol
loving that HOC bank! Sooooo, how does a gal acquire one, make that two…one for each of my kids?!?! Love to teach them to save for a rainy, or even a cloudy day….and also to give to those less fortunate. And I adore that you and your babe could hang out together today! Its hard when you know they are faking sick but you still want to get them because obviously something is wrong. Kylee calls and says she’s had a seizure so she can come home. They make her tired and even though there is nothing I can do at that point I still get her because she does have them and they are starting to affect her. Love the post. I hope he has a good week. We will definitely need a bag or 2 around here.

My little Emma (4 yrs) used to get very angery with me when we would roll her change in her piggy bank because she knew it would go into her savings account and she would never see it again. So we made a special trip to the bank and the tellers let her look in the vault. She got to see all the money and now she is ok with putting it in “her bank.” She thinks all the money in the vault is hers. lol I wish! Can’t wait until Feb 1st! These little sneak peaks are killing me!

Super duper excited to be a finalist for round 2 and curious as to when the magical dress will appear on my doorstep. I am playing hooky all week from things just waiting for it to appear!
