Denise and I were trying to come up with a name this week, but we decided you guys may be better fit for the job… Best idea gets the entire Holiday Collection! Hi MJ creators…let me start off by saying how much I LOVE your field trip collection. I was just introduced to MJ this past summer and boy have missed out on a lot!!! My daughter, juju, is almost 11 years-old and is wearing between size 10 & 12….so that means I only have about one more collection of being with MJ…do you know how sad that makes me? My daughter loves to dress cute, vintage, and funky…do you know how hard that style is hard to find in her size? One you get to that size everything is either boring or trashy. I have had to order most of juju’s clothes from Crewcuts (JCrew)…they extended their sizes to 14. I am really hoping MJ will consider extending their sizes too. I know once you start getting in size 14 and 16 some girls don’t dress that way, but there still are several out there that will. I can no longer shop at boutiques or speciality shops for her…they usually stop at size 8. I still want juju to dress in style with you adorable clothes. Please consider making bigger sizes in MJ collection. Can’t wait to see what the spring line has to offer!

“SWEET NOTHINGS” I wanted to re-share this because I think it says alot about how I feel about MJC. Sweet Nothings are those everyday things that someone can do or say to you that can make you feel so special. It’s not it’s Monetary value, it’s the way it makes you feel inside, I feel that the Holiday season brings a special feeling in the atmosphere that nothing else can; the colored lights, crowded shopping centers and of course the reunion of family, that’s what it’s all about. When I was growing up with my 3 sisters, Christmas was always a very simple, special time…not lots of frills and decorations, but one tradition always brought so many smiles and memories, one thing we could all share at the same time, together. We had a little silver aluminum Christmas tree with the revolving wheel and the four colors, green, red, orange, and blue. We each had a favorite color, and each looked different and unique when the light would shine on our faces. We’d sit around that little tree for hours and just enjoy the sparkle, lights and the smiles, and dream. It just made us feel happy. Maybe “Silver Trees, Twirling Lights, and Memories.”

About 27 years ago At the end of a studio recording session on Christmas eve, 1984, about 12 people decided to jump on the back of an old dump truck parked in an alley and decided to go Christmas caroling. On the truck, they put a generator, a couple strands of lights from the reception area of the studio, along with drums, bass, keyboards, a few mics and 12 great musicians that thought they could sing. Armed with their musical instruments and about three songs that they knew, they set out to spread some Christmas cheer. Everyone loved it and they have continued to do it every year rain or not. It’s all volunteers and has grown to over 200 singers and dancers and Santa Clause. The very first time I ever heard from them was the first Christmas Eve I lived here. I was having a crummy day and I hear this singing getting louder and louder. I look out my window and see this big truck and all these people. Needless to say crummy day was gone and we look forward to seeing them each year and follow them for several miles even in 2005 when I was 37 weeks prego with Luci. I ended up going into labor and had Luci Christmas morning.
Luci can’t wait for the day when she is old enough to join the crew of the truck.

I think “Aurora Twirl”. When I think of the holiday’s, I think Santa and the North Pole, where the Northern Lights are. The Aurora Borealis are unique, beautiful, colorful, a bit funky, and make people want to stop and pay attention, just like MJC.
