1. Is there a dress code? or What should I wear? More than anything, please know this is very casual, and on grass. Be comfortable. But if you really want to know, we’d love to see the adults wear white or icy colors. And we always love to see kids in Matilda Jane. Love it.
2. Is there there going to be early shopping for those who are coming to the Trolley Tour on Thursday or the Pre-Party Friday? There is Early shopping for the Trolley Tour and Africa Luncheon ticket holders. As well as those of you who have won “early shopping” through an auction or contest. There will not be any early shopping the night of Pre Party
3. Is there a set up for those with early shopping passes? The Trolley Tour and Luncheon has early shopping at the end of each event. You will shop by table or trolley. This will be random or pretty much whatever table number gets called first. If you have won “early shopping” you will me notified by Kayla. She will give you 2 different early shopping slots to choose from.
4. Are they drawing names from hats? No, we will not be drawing names form hats. there will be assigned seating at each event. You will get your table number when you arrive and check in. This will be random as well. We cannot accept request. We want to be able to share all our stories with you on Matilda Jane and Africa. We will have a table captain from MJC/and or Africa Go-er to help tell our story at your table.
5. Will they be allowed to shop with their friends? Of course you can shop with your friends. There is a chance you may not be sitting at the same table but I am certain you will catch up in side the art fair once shopping has begun. Please note, these are small events. It will not be a crowd like on Art Fair morning.
6. The tickets do not have names printed on them. How will you do seat assignments? When you check in, you will receive a name tag. There will be a number on back of your ticket that will determine your table you will be seated at. You are free to switch with people, but we do ask you sit at your assigned seat until both parties agree to switch.
7. Why do you have assigned seating at the Trolley Tour Dinner and Luncheon? These events are very special to us. We want to have time to share our stories and hear yours. We have “table captains” assigned to help with this. Also, this will help us determine the order in which we shop, so it is not a free for all rush to the door for early shopping.
8 Will there be adult beverages at these parties. Yes, there will be adult as well as non-alcoholic drinks at Trolley Tour Dinner as well as Pre- Party. Africa Luncheon will be non-alcohol. For the Pre-party we will be selling tickets for adult drink/and or glasses.
9. Are there going to be special accommodations for those with disabilities or wheelchairs? If this effects you, please call the office 26-424-3511 and we will help you the best we can.
10. The time on the invite for Pre-Party does not match what was on Brown Paper Tickets. The invite says that it starts at 5. Brown Paper Tickets says 6? This is an error on our end. The Pre-Party is from 5-9
11. Will Livie and Luca be at all events? OF COURSE!!! What about Maya’s Curls? OF COURSE
12. Will you have raffles and games? OF COURSE
13. Will you have any more chance to win tickets to the Trolley Tour? Chicks for Children Luncheon or Early Shopping? Good question? Post your name, where you are coming from and what you are most excited about on our Face Book Page and Maddie pick one of you (plus a friend for the Trolley Tour, one of you (plus a friend) for Luncheon and one of you (plus a friend for Early Shopping). But do it soon. Final headcount and names are due in by Wednesday.
14. When will you post the credit card authorization form? I am shopping for a friend. We will post the form later this week. It is only needed if you are shopping for a friend and are using her credit card for her purchase.
15. Will you accept Gift cards at Art Fair? Sorry, no we do not. Only Visa, Masctercard and Discover, checks and cash.

Me and the girlies are coming from Medina, OH (south of Cleveland). There is so much i am looking forward to besides shopping for the beautiful clothes… the road trip with just us girls, meeting the great Tween moms at Club Soda for lunch and, of course, the pre-party!! It was just such an enchanting and almost surreal experience for me last year that Im counting down the daysl– literally crossing off my calendar like a kid at Christmas!!!
I am excited for SO much! Seeing friends, seeing AMAZING new fabric combinations, perhaps a few new styles, and (selfishly) I am very excited to be back on Hoosier soil where I grew up and have the most amazing memories with family and friends!
