New Platinum Gal

Hello Matilda Jane lovers! My name is Cara and I am the new Platinum Customer Service gal!

I know that you will all miss Desi, but I hope to be able to be able to live up to the standards that she has set.

I just recently graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) with a degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy. Although I will not be using the trade that I was trained for in school, I am super excited to be working for such an amazing company! I am finally breaking free from waiting tables and really looking forward to a much more steady schedule, but I hope that the experience that I have working with hungry patrons has prepared me well for dealing with any issues that you have had.

As far as my personal life goes, I do not consider myself a very exciting individual. I have always been interested in the arts whether that means drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, or just decorating my home. I also love riding my bike all over town and I happen to be known for my turquoise handlebars! Most of my time, however, has been taken up by taking care of the love of my life, Iko, my dog. She is a two-year-old Spanador (black lab and cocker spaniel mix) who loves going to the park, playing fetch, and making messes. Although she drives me crazy most of the time, it is more than worth it when I get to come home and see the big smile on her face! The other love of my life is my (nearly) three-year-old niece, Stella. She is beautiful, crazy, and loving all at the same time! It is so exciting to get to see children grow and change and turn from big bellies into real people!

I am so excited to be getting to know all of your voices and, hopefully, being able to help you with anything you need!

So nice to meet the new faces of MJC :) I sure wish I lived near MJC, because I would do anything to work for MJC!! I don’t care if was mopping the floors or getting coffee, but it would be a dream come true to be able to work with the company and help with designing!

You have such a lovely smile -so does Iko!- & Stella is as cute as can be! By the way …: Would you be willing to share a ‘photo of your bike (“turqoise handlebars” … it just sounds so cool) :-) ?
