Who doesn’t love a good surprise?
It is that time of year again – Cafeteria Plan. There are so many things I love about these uploads.
- I love the element of surprise. What you receive is totally random! The anticipation of what’s to come is half the fun. I used to ask my mom to take me to the Sanrio store at our mall so I could get a “grab bag.” It didn’t matter what was in it, as long as it was Hello Kitty!
- Hidden gems. There are things in Cafeteria Plan NO ONE has ever seen! There could be alternate fabrics or quantities too small for a normal upload. Who’s feeling lucky??
- Memory lane. Every piece of Platinum has a memory. As we folded and sorted all the pretty Plat that had been tucked away for months, it was hard not to stop and think about the day a piece was designed, then cut, sent to the seamstress, then returned, buttoned, and finally uploaded. So many stories, it’s like looking through a photo album.
- New discoveries. This is your chance to try something that you passed up before, something you were not sure about, but had potential to be a favorite. I also think it is a great time to be introduced to Platinum!
So here’s the deal:
- We will upload like normal – hop on to matildajaneplatinum.com tomorrow and start carting!
- This time you will only see one image in each category: Dresses, Tops, Bottoms, and Bags. You will also see special prices!
- Pick a size, and you are done!
Then it’s our turn! We pick at random, then send the goodies off to you!

OMG, YES! The Sanrio Store. I loved those grab bags. I also loved those little plastic toys they would tape to your bag everytime you purchased something. Awh…memories. 🙂

Eek!! My birthday is tomorrow so I think for my birthday present to myself I will buy a few cafeteria plan items for my daughter!! I love the surprise!
