Oh, February

February. Probably the most misunderstood and under-appreciated month of the year. I mean it does have Groundhog Day and Valentine’s Day, but we all know that both of those can end up going either way- good or bad! But the rest of February here in Indiana is cold, uneventful for the most part, and the only thing standing between me and warm weather. This week I decided to kick the February Flu and replace it with my February Favorites, and I thought I’d share it with you here just for a little fun!

• Serendipity!! Who else cannot get enough of this?? And the second release coming next week? Will knock your socks off!
• Voicemails from Chris at 435. In the middle of messages from customers sometimes there is a message that starts with Chris crooning our inside joke “Heeeeey!!!” and is followed by her cracking up. It sounds dorky, but I think you HAVE to hear the “Heeeeey” to really appreciate it.
• My super awesome incredible (and a little bit crazy) friends. On Valentine’s Day I went out with a bunch of my girlfriends who didn’t have any other plans for dinner and bowling, and we had the BEST night ever!! It was so fun to just relax and have a Girl’s Night right in the middle of the week. And I won’t lie, we kinda got a huge kick out of all of the awkward-looking couples surrounding us who looked like they were having the worst night of their lives!

• My very best friend from the day I was born got ENGAGED!! Hayley, the girl I named a flutter dress after, got engaged on Valentine’s Day, and I will get to be a bridesmaid in her wedding next year! This is the first of my really close friends who has gotten engaged or married, so it took a while for me to get used to the idea that we’re old enough for this to happen, but I am sooooooo excited for Hayley and Austin!!
• Random texts from my mom. One night it was a text asking if I think Dr. Oz is cute??? And last weekend, literally out of nowhere, a text asking who my bridesmaids are going to be. When me getting married is a mirage in the very, very distant future!!! She is so funny, and I know for sure that after an hour long talk on the phone with her last night, I think I would be crazy without her.
• And last but not least, my Gramps. I got to see him a couple of weekends ago, and he is just as spunky and precious as ever!! Just seeing him for a few hours one night made my February infinitely brighter and happier.
