and I am in so much trouble. I asked David if he could go solo with Joe today cuz I really had to catch up on some work. And guess what? I just cannot stop googling Lolita girls. I really think if I were younger I would become one. I really do. I think so. I love them. I love the way the dress and their confidence. Arghhh..I am so obsessed and I really need to work.

You see what I am talking about. It is ridiculous how cute they are. You do know I saw 3 in Paris. I think my heart skipped a beat.
Okay, so really go to Victoria Suzanne’s blog lolita-charm.blogspot.com and see. And I must mention all these pics belong to her. Be prepared to fall in love!
Now I must get some work done. You see why I had to share with you?

oh my gosh i love it
Love these pics! On a side note has platinum
Been up and I just keep missing it?
So pretty, love love love! I hope this is a fashion that is in full force when my daughter is a teen/young women, so much more beautiful and appropriate than a lot of the other trends we see for young ladies today.
I used to try and find cute lolita style dresses, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ LOVE them!
Loves it! Reminds me of the fragrance “Lolita Lempicka” my daughter just said she wants one of the skirts the girlies in the first pic have!
How unique! Awesome 🙂
Well, great Denise…first you get me addicted to MJC and now you have ME googling Lolita girls!! hee hee
“The best accessory a girl can own is confidence.” LOVE this!
Where do you find this stuff! So sweet, cute, confident and addictive! keep all these gems of info coming. Good luck getting something done when there are all these awesome finds to be found on the internet….
Well, now you know how we all feel…seriously addicted to Matilda Jane Clothing. 🙂
Hope the Lolita girls influence will inspire your future creations! I can’t wait to see what you come up!! Thank goodness for little girls!
They are all lovely, but I think Malida Jane is as lovely 🙂 !
I have been ordering the striped over-the-socks from china for girls. I absolutely love the japenese street girl look. like broken rag dolls!
hmmmm….wonder if this Lolita-loving mood will come out in your “Sugarland” designs…..can’t wait to see!
Haha! I dressed like that in High School and got teased so bad. I am from the midwest and anything out of the “norm” doesn’t go over so well. I always felt so pretty no matter what others thought. I seriously got a flash-back and a chuckle when I read this. Quickly approaching my 10 year high-school reunion…
Such a cute style! Makes me remember when I was a teenager and we loved to wear pony tails with big bows and lace. 🙂
I was also going to say that it reminds me of the Lolita Lempicka perfume that I LOVE! How funny!
Sweet!
I LOVE that you posted about Lolita Girls.
I Love looking for girly inspiration for my designs & blog but wasn’t quite sure about everything Lolita. lol (I have 5 daughters & I get nervous looking things up online);)
I feel better now knowing MATILDA JANE loves it too.
LOVE your new name/Line SUGARLAND!
Best Wishes with it all!
Joelle XOXO
I like MJC’s style better ;-).
Your style and clothes are much cuter. I like the “confidence” thing, but the girls look a little prissy. Your models usually look like they are having fun and being their relaxed selves! Which is what I like my daughter to see.
Ok, I LOVE this! I got into reading it and just couldn’t stop. It intrigues me! Maybe if I were younger, and had more time, etc.. But wonderful to look at and read about!
