You gotta love a play room that is cleaner than your desk, huh? I just looked around and realized I have way to many lists waiting to be checked off. But guess what? We checked one off today. Michelle is joining us on the Platinum team. So thrilled! Hopefully, we’ll get more checked off tomorrow before we bury our heads in Fall 2011.
It is so bizarre all the things that go on in my brain in one day. I must say, and yes, I am patting myself on the back, I seem to keep them all organized and rolling. Somethings naturally roll smoothly while the others need a little more tending to. It’s funny to look back at how Matilda Jane has evolved and how what were once issues no longer are and new ones take their place. I think I have totally put a few people through “small business start up” courses. We all sit back and play the remember when game. One of the funniest may be when we processed credit cards by hand. It was a full time job. Ha, that at making copies of orders. Oh, and shipping USPS. We hand cut every single label and stuck into an envelope. NUTS.

So rumor has it Kayla is moving up the street form me. How cool is that? And even cooler, our new gal, Michelle, lives 2 doors down. And David’s parents moved 3 blocks over. Yes, we like to keep everyone close. Lynette..I think you need to move down here!!! She lives the farthest out I think, well, next to Amber!
I know you are all dying to know who got chosen for the Casting Call. I am humiliated to say I have not had 20 minutes to get all the photos together. This month has been full of deadlines, tight ones. But I will tell you what turned into looking for 3 girls led to 14. We’ve got babies, toddlers, 6 yr old and tween (so excited about them!)I think this is a record for us! I am trying to nail all the details of the trip from lodging to transportation to shoot schedule. And Lynette says to me on the way home, “Denise, I am just really worried about their nutrition.” She is such a mom and so know I am not the most nutritional gal, but no fear ladies, we got it covered. Well, are working on it!
And tomorrow I will introduce you to Milan, Danielle, Kassidy, Kylee, Kate, Piper, Grace, Elie, Claire, Brittany, Eliahna, Anjolie, Cache and Chloe.

So glad to hear that all ages will be represented. Can’t wait to see the Spring line.
Yes! I hope to see a squishy baby around so I can see what it may look like on mine
All such beautiful and unique girls….I’m sure they are ALL amazing!
can’t wait to see! congrats to all the winners!!! how exciting!
Congrats to all! It is so neat to hear how about your company’s growth!
They all have such cute names!!! Was that a requirement?
Congratulations to all of the winners! I know they are all gorgeous & can’t wait to see their pictures!
Congrats to all the mommies and kiddos!
Welcome Michelle!!!! Denise, you and David should get a “neighborhood ambassador award”. First you get your dream house and then you get all these wonderful people so close to you. Sounds wonderful.
It has been very interesting and sometime mind boggling to think about how your business has grown and continues to grow in just the time I have followed it. I would come out of retirement for a chance to work with Matilda Jane Clothing in the winter months …and in the summer to if there is a/c…. if I just lived close enough to commute.
The three hours of homework issue really upsets me. We do not let our children (and grandchildren) be children. They need some hours to imagine and create and lay in the yard and look at the clouds! Sorry so long
dying to see pics of all the girls selected. Please, please, please
Matilda Jane making dreams come true. Wow. I can only imagine how excited the winners are. Congratulations to you all!
Thanks for the great name ideas that start with a “K” or “C,” that could start with a “K.” I’ll be needing one last “K” name in a few months to add to my five other kids’ names that start with a “K.”
Hey, Natalie! I just took a peek at your blog and not only are all your “K” names so cute, your kids are gorgeous!!! (I’m a little fond of K names myself). I think Klaire would be so KUTE and fit in nicely with the others. Of course my Kate is great too, but that’s my vote.
My friend always says to end on a one syllable name. HAHA 6.. WOW! Congratulations!!!
