I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.

So, my first grader came home from school (here in North Carolina) and she couldn’t have been more excited. She had just gotten her first letter from her new pen pal. Guess where she is from???? That’s right, Australia. We are thrilled for her and think it is very cool!
Denise, Totally off the subject but I had never heard of Lolita til your post. I have been shopping on Ebay for Halloween costumes and Lolita costumes are everywhere!! Funny, thanks to you I was able to view many interesting and sweet costumes.
