It’s official. Denise and I can call ourselves “finished” with our end of the Fall 2011 catalog. Well, we will still meet with Matt Kelly and his amazing team a few more times… But the work aspect is done. Just time for pretty parts which I can never consider work. That means this weekend is gonna be a good one. One filled with relaxing and fun. Oh! And us gals doing “The Lapper” at our very own Foster Park. Our angel in the office Chelsa invited us all to do this with her and I’m stoked about it. So on Saturday we will walk as many laps as we can around the Foster Park track in honor of finding a cure for cancer! How cool is that?!
And this is the beginning of the 435 Art Fair… It may not look like much yet, but it’s coming along nicely. Can’t wait to see what you guys buy. It really is the best part; walking around helping you, grabbing you the pair of ruffles that will compliment your new Ellie in just the sweetest way. And the greatest part about it is that ALL of us at 435 get to help you, want to help you. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again (and I’m sure a million more times), I’m the luckiest girl. We all are. Our jobs are so rewarding. I thought that when I packed your orders in an apartment, and I still think it now when I get to work side by side with Denise everyday.
On that note, thank you for sticking by our side. Matilda Jane would be nothing without you. I hope you all have the best, best, best weekends!

Oh how I would love to join in on the fun that is sure to be had at 435! Not just to buy some amazing clothes, but to finally get a chance to meet everyone! I guess it’s just not meant to be this year but hopefully in one of the years to come.

I am PRAYING that a few Ellie’s are uploaded to Platinum the weekend you have your Art Fair. That way some of us that don’t have the time to stalk the website and are too far to travel to Indiana can finally grab some cute pieces for our little angels. Maybe…just maybe

I am so excited to be coming to art fair… but know a lot of other moms are to… can you rest assure us that there will actually be “enough” clothing to go around. Since platinum and everything else is gone in seconds, this is my worst nightmare. Fall 2011 has me all sparky! Cannot wait to see the momma stuff…hoping for mommy n me willows….momma/daughter coordinates….and my hubby says…”where are daddy and son coordinates?”….love that MJC is increasingly special to him, too. How sweet is he? Also…a suggestion…in a crazy busy week this gal needed a ball cap to hide my unattended hair in the worst way. So…how bout some MJC caps for us ladies? Good luck on the lapper! I ran my very first 5K today in support of local running/walking paths, and it was a blast.
