Crazy week…would love to end it with the goodness of a HOBO bag!! BTW…here is a great easy xmas treat. On a pan, put a pretzel, (I use waffle pretzels), add a rolo on top, put a pecan on top of that, repeat until you have a pan of stacked yummies. Put into a 350 degree oven for 5 min but not so long so that the caramel is oozing everywhere. take out, and gently press down on pecan, let cool and enjoy the yummy chocolatey, caramely salty goodness! This is my plan tonight!

Some of our traditions for Christmas include: Elf on the shelf (one for my daughter and one for my son)….oh its too fun with them to try to discover the hiding spot each morning! Christmas cookies…baking them and frosting them and loading on the awesome sprinkles of every shade of Christmas we can find! Hot chocolate – whenever- loaded with marshmallows! Movies like ELF!, The Polar Express and Rudolph! Reading the night before Christmas together on Christmas Eve! We also celebrate Hanukkah at our home….lighting the menorah together each night, playing dreidel, gobbling up gelt and potato latkes until we cannot move. The month of December is always super busy for us…and the one combined activity (that reaches both holidays) is to drive around together and look at the LIGHTS! Love the way they twinkle – and they’re even prettier with a slight dusting of snow on them. December. Quite possibly the best month of the whole year….
