I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.

So, I was just wanting to clarify…The advertisement here says “all items online.” On the website it says, “Select items.” Which is it? Any clues on which items will not be included (just an OCD person trying to plan a list).

I’m so confused, I thought all items online were on sale, as stated above, in big ole caps. But now there’s an email saying just a handful of HB is included. How can that be??
It would be possible to take down some of the items from the website so both statements are still true. Select items are on sale but all items that are still on-line are on sale. Tricky (and unpredictable).
My guess is everything online except Platinum Collection, but it is confusing!!! Maybe its to build the frenzy waiting with anticipation for noon tomorrow!!!!

Denise, just wanted to thank you for offering us all the sale items today, and the Platinum art fair, as well. I already have some amazing things for my sweet girls, that I was able to get this weekend, so if I don’t get a thing today, I’m so happy. Hey, who am I kidding, I know I’ll find lots of goodies today, too:)

First we get the news that only a few pieces of Hammond Bay are for sale…now the site is crashing! Very disappointing! I also remember months back that a “whale of a sale” was going to happen. At least that is what was advertised on the blog. And that never came to be either. Very frustrating!!

Before I got kicked off…I looked at Platinum and didn’t see any NEW Art Fair pieces. Just the same items that are usually there. I understand that they are NOT on sale…but thought they would still appear.
I’m so sad that I can’t order…the site just wont let me do it. will it go up again, or can we call in.
Perhaps MJC should invest in a larger server that can handle the traffic and a more efficient website host provider.
Clothing shouldn’t be so stressful. But I guess it is just a product of how much we all love you! Cart’s not working here.

geeze….been on for 4 hours now…..kept crashing everytime tried to put something in bag then got all the way to the credit card number and it crashed!! Still trying but soon to give up!!! This shouldn’t be so hard and frustrating!!!! ARGGGGGG!!

Same here – I have been trying to order since noon and every time I try to put an item in the bag I get kicked off. EXTREMLY FRUSTRATING!!!

YEA!!! YIPEEE!!!! I got my order….although it took two times placing it I got most of what I wanted….it took 6 1/2 hours though!!
