Time keeps on Ticking…

I’ve been so caught up in making my MESH with Matilda Jane lists that I barely realized Collection Two is almost here. And this is quite troublesome. How could I have forgotten such an important date?  I can’t wait for you to see it. Two of my fave pieces of the You & Me are in it.  Ohh, I think you will love. Okay, I am going to be extra confident and risk sounding full of myself and say I KNOW YOU WILL LOVE!

Still working on letting David know how much I really need a pup. And I am serious, I need one. It would be much safer to work till 11pm at night by myself in a 1/2 shady part of town if I had a guard dog with me, right? I’m gonna name him Franklin. Franklin for when he is trouble, Frankie for when he is cute, and Frank when he is just being lazy.

Arghhhh – TJ and I are having the same debate – eventually I will just come home with our new bf. I am merely giving him the opportunity to be swayed to the fan side of the fence before she arrives. Her name will be Lucy (in the sky with diamonds,) chosen by Bellie :) and she will be the spunkiest, most fun gal ever. I even volunteered full poo-duty responsibilities. I figure with two girls of my own at under 1 and 3, and my niece at 5, I have been on poo-duty for 5 years anyhow, why stop now?
Good luck! Frankie will be the best! After Lucy, of course… :)

If you are considering a dog that is big enough to protect you consider a boxer. They are amazing dogs. I will admit it is like having a three year old forever. Oh yeah, do not ask Kiara what she thinks of a boxer. I love Kiara’s dog Shelby but I have to admit Indy (Mariah’s dog) is just adorable!! We got her here in Fort Wayne. Best of luck finding your new companion. I just know that you will convince David to let you have one. He does know that boys need a dog to make their childhood complete?? LOL!

I live on a 40 acre farm and we have 2 Austrilain Shephard dogs.
Since my dh is gone 6 days and home only 3 (they are a must have) the last one is a mini and she is adorbale, blue eyes and no tail, very smart, great with kids but best of all, these dogs are very protective of there family.
Yes, you need a dog for several reasons!
<3 good luck

I am so loving the bluebird on her shoulder. It makes me want to email Disney again and ask them to please release “Song of the South.” I loved that movie growing up and would love for my daughter to see it and hear all of the wonderful music.
Also, I agree, you definitely need a dog! They truly make a house a home:).

LOVE the name Franklin for a pup. As for working til 11pm in a “shady” part of Ft. Wayne, I totally, 100% agree that you NEED a guard dog. When you post that you are burnin the midnight oil downtown, I have to admit, I worry about ya! So you tell David that your fans say you NEED a dog to keep you safe while you are working to make all of us happy:)

SO excited to see collection 2!

Love it. My bloodhound is King Louie when he’s lazy, Louie when he’s good, and lucifer when he’s in trouble.

we had a weiner dog named Frank! not much of a watch-dog though. got him for my son’s first birthday, but he only lasted for about 2 months until he found a new home. now we have an english bulldog (Lilly) who is two. she is SO much work, but she is our baby and she is an angel with the kids (9 and 5).

Looking forward to the 2nd release!
Loving the little birdie…I hope it shows up more often!!

Don’t get me wrong, I like dogs (other people’s dogs!), but having a dog is like having a toddler for the rest of your life.

I have a girl chocolate lab named Frankie. She is a sweet loving dog that is constantly being chased by my 1 year old daughter, Ande Nola. I’m certain David will be totally smitten with the new puppy after the first day. Who doesn’t loves puppies….

Gidget Fenwick - August 30, 2011 - 3:31 am

We are waiting on our big dog …..sweet,lazy but gaurded bullmastiff to be born . We went to see his daddy ceaser who is 180 pounds and mama monica. We hope he is born sept 9,10,11th.If not we wait for him in the next litter. Still trying to think of a name. I think you need a dog,we all do,a mans best friend.Just like you and me. Gidget :)

christine b - August 30, 2011 - 3:25 am

awwwww! My daughter is trying to work on us getting a dog….she told me she has money :) But we have 2 cats and 1 is an oldie. I don’t think she could handle it. Franklin sounds like a perfect name and you need your watchdog while you are working.

Carrie K - August 29, 2011 - 11:21 pm

Denise, you must must must get a dog! They really are ‘man’s best friend’ and your boys will absolutely LOVE growing up with a dog. I couldn’t imagine raising my almost 2 year old daughter without a dog. Those two keep each other so entertained & truly bring so much joy to each other’s lives : ) Oh, I can’t wait to see a picture of your lucky dog!

Natalie - August 29, 2011 - 9:16 pm

I LOVE this new dress!

Lori - August 29, 2011 - 8:57 pm

Franklin is the cutest name ever … when you explain it that way!! Kind of like saying your child’s middle name with their first for when they are in trouble and shortening it when they are being sweet and cute! For whatever reason … you do feel safer with a dog but, when they growl because they here the wind blow … it freaks you out!! I would say that you deserve one for all that you do! :) Come on Franklin!!!!

I just love looking at MJ clothes. Can’t wait to get my order from a recent trunk show I attended. You’ve got some crazy obsessed MJ fans out there. Facebook can get hairy:) Maybe some of those people need a job, certainly “refreshing” all day can’t be very fulfilling! Oh well! Love your work, just beautiful.

Michelle holland - August 29, 2011 - 7:47 pm

Love the headpiece. will you be selling that? And what is the date release of this collection

happy in co - August 29, 2011 - 7:45 pm

Franklin is a perfect name. Maybe Franklin Delano (goes with all the Ds in your family) Roosevelt when he is in super deep trouble.

Heather Giustino - August 29, 2011 - 7:42 pm

Haha! Good luck with Frankie – I hope you get him soon :)

Lisa Tice - August 29, 2011 - 7:26 pm

Stephanie S - August 29, 2011 - 7:00 pm

My husband said “no” to a dog until I brought him to meet a puppy. There is something to be said for a wet nose and puppy breath :)
